Semi-remote place to relax, totally worthwhile!!

The host Kostas was very nice, helpful, responsive during our stay. My family and our friends definitely would like to come back this beautiful and relaxing villa. The pictures do not do it justice, it is so much more beautiful in person. 100% recommended for your consideration!!!

Perfect family get away.

Amazing venue. Host communication was fantastic. Facility was fantastic. Host looked after pool when we left to go out but checked to see when we were leaving. Lovely setting in the heart of Crete. We stayed with friends and none of us had any complaint. AC in every room, plenty of utensils and pots and pans what you need for a big party. Would highly recommend to anyone.

superbe location

si vous recherchez le calme absolu,c est la bonne villa .accueil difficile a cause de l anglais avec kostas,mais accueil chaleureux.villa spacieuse avec soleil toute la journee,donc parfait pour les enfants qui se sont regales dans la piscine.pleins de beaux souvenirs .

La descrption est conforme à la réalité, l endroit est un peu reculé mais néanmoins pas trop loin des commerces, restaurants et plages. Très tranquille et agréable nous avons été très bien recu. Je recommande vivement.

Overvej meget stedet, det er langt fra alt.

Vi synes ikke huset var rengjort og kun en gang blev poolen renset.Rotter mødte vi også .Gennem 2 sovenrum før vi kom til badeværelset, uholdbart når vi er flere familier.

We always aim to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and we take your comments seriously. Just to clarify a few points: We’ve been working for years with our trusted cleaning team and have received very positive feedback, but we’ll definitely look into your remarks to make sure everything is up to standard. The pool was cleaned several times during your stay—usually every 2–3 days. Since most visits happened while you were out on excursions, it’s possible you simply didn’t see it being done. As for the layout, we understand it might not be ideal for larger groups, and that’s why we’ve described it clearly in the listing so guests can make the best choice for their needs. Regarding the outdoor area, we’d like to clarify that no rats were found inside the house. You mentioned seeing two outside. The villa is in the countryside, surrounded by nature, and while we do regular pest control, we can’t fully control wildlife in such a natural setting. Most importantly, we weren’t informed about any of this during your stay. If we had known, we’d have done our best to help right away. Thank you again for your feedback—it really helps us improve. Sehr schöne Villa in abgeschiedener Lage

Traumhaft. Kostas war sehr hilfsbereit. Es war schön zu beobachten, wie sich die Schwalben aus dem Pool im Flug getränkt haben. Wir genossen den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen. Nachdem wir das nächste Mal eher Richtung Chania gehen wollen (Stichwort Entfernung zu Samaria, Elafonissi und Balos sehr weit) kommen wir danach bestimmt wieder hier her.

Villa Vergiana - Beautiful

It's a fantastic property and we had a wonderful 2 weeks there. Yes, it's a bit further away from major places to visit but the views, the facilities and the peace and quiet more than make up for the extra 15-20 minutes drive. A car is essential but make sure you don't get a car that's too big as you will struggle to get to the Villa, the access road is really narrow. The room layout was perfect for us and allows you to have some quiet time away from the pool area if you want. Garden and BBQ area are great, fresh fruit on the trees and the plants and flowers around the property give it a real traditional Greek feel. Kostas, our host was exceptional, he was always available should we have any questions and it was really nice to bump into him in the village during our stay. All in all, a fantastic property and a great host, the welcome pack we received on arrival was a really nice touch. If you're looking for an authentic Greek Villa which offers lots of space, peace and quiet to relax then I would recommend this location. Thanks Kostas and Evmorfia.

Fantastisk service både før og under opholdet. Elisabeth svarer hurtigt på mail og Kosta på sms under opholdet. Stor rummelig villa med rigelig plads til os 9. Skøn pool og have! Meget rolige omgivelser og smuk udsigt mod havet.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren zu 7. Es waren trotzdem alle ich glaube 13 Betten bezogen so dass man auch in ein anderes Zimmer ausweichen könnte wenn man denn wollte. Die Doppelbetten waren zum Teil auch sehr schmal so dass wir dieses ausweichen in ein anderes Zimmer tatsächlich genutzt haben. Der Garten und der Pool waren ein Traum. Granatapfel, Zitronen, Limetten, Feigen wuchsen einfach so auf dem Grundstück. Wirklich traumhaft. Jeden Morgen Granatapfel... Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

A Far Removed Shangri-La

Although, initially not well supplied with toiletries and detergents and a bit of a hike to get to and from markets, etc. this property is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a bit of a problem with flies in a couple of the baths, but we were able to control the problem. For the eight of us it was exceptionally comfortable and the owner and manager were responsive to our requests and needs. This property will make your family feel very special..

Relaxation Guaranteed at this villa

The property has been beautifully renovated to provide a relaxing retreat. The villa is in a very quiet location offering complete relaxation buy the large pool which along with the terrace is a complete sun trap. The property was spotless when we arrived, and was cleaned with linens and towels changed within a few days of our stay. The owner is very generous and left melons for us, and returned on the Saturday morning with fresh for us to bbq that evening. Margarites is a short drive away with lots of pottery on offer and several tavernas whilst Rethmino can be reached within half an hour. You'll definitely need a car. I would thoroughly recommend this villa if you're looking for a relaxing holiday.

La villa è splendida.

La villa è splendida. appena ristrutturata e situata in un piccolo villaggio immerso nel verde degli ulivi. Il mare è raggiungibile in 20 mimuti (circa 10 km). Il proprietario è una persona squisita ed il servizio fornito eccellente. Pur essendo un unico immobile può essere abbitato anche da tre famiglie, in quanto le tre camere principali sono tra loro indipendenti. Alle spalle della piscina c'è un bel giardino con agrumi ed ulivi, ed a bordo piscina un grande tavolo per oltre 10 persone. Ogni stanza è dotata di climatizzatore indipendente, anche se il bel clima secco e ventilato ne ha reso poco indispensabile l'utilizzo. Unico suggerimento per il Proprietario: installare una doccia esterna a bordo piscina. Ringraziamo il proprietario per la cortesia, e la simpatia, felici di averlo conosciuto. Consiglierei sicuramente la villa a gruppi di due o tre famiglie affiatate, che ricerchino una vacanza bella e rilassante in un bellissimo contesto a pochi km dal mare. Anche i pochi abitanti del villaggio sono stati molto cortesi. Una bellissima vacanza!
