The condo was quite dirty from finding someone else's sock in a bedroom, finding blood on the pillow case, the carpeting and furniture had many stains. The condo in general is very dated, even the toilet seat was chipping. The bathroom sink had a crack and the kitchen had minimal cooking items if you planned to eat in. The outside patio was nice for sitting but also very dirty. When you would go in and out to the patio you always tracked something in. If it would have been swept this would not have happened. The blinds had not been clean in some time and there were many cobwebs. We did email Bella Vita who called us the next day but we were out vacationing so we did not respond until later. They wanted to make it right by sending their cleaners. It was too late, it should have been clean and spotless when we got there.
We didn't want random people in our space with our things. I did go talk to Bella Vita when we were leaving and they said they tried to make it right and responded to us the next day and that they made a mistake, they said they are in the height of their season so that was their excuse. They did not apologize and basically said that is the way it is. We felt stuck, after you pay there is nothing you can do to get any return on your investment. As far as making a mistake, that is unacceptable. That was quite a mistake.. My feeling is they don't care, they take your money and know you are stuck. We won't be staying with them again.
