Communication with host was great. However, having to pay to check in early was a little much. Pictures are decieving. It looks like it shows online but it doesnât show the flaws. The property is old and there are definitely things that could be more put together.
This place was very mediocre. Not very clean, beds not super comfy, trim, tile work backyard and basement windows all need some TLC. Would not stay again or recommend to friends.
House was fair. Wifi was not working after asking for login information. Second bathroom is in the basement with steep stairs. There is no safe way for occupants in that bedroom to exit out of a window.
The property was pet friendly; however, the back yard had many bushes with huge stickers that got caught in the dogs fur, and some rusty rebar sticking out of the ground. The house definitely needs some TLC. Several of the doors to bedrooms and bathrooms did not shut completely. The basement bathroom sink hot water did not operate properly, ice maker did not work and the gutter outside was not hooked up so when it rained it sounded like someone was tapping on my window - all night! Fortunately, my brother was able to fix that. There is no cable in the house! Free tv is not what it used to be, we just wanted to watch football, but no ESPN. The host was courteous and easy to contact but all in all, we will not be staying there again.
The house was clean and had most essentials. I would have liked it to include a toaster and bath mat. The yard though met the needs of our dog but the patio was completely unusable, very disappointing.
We stayed for 8 nights in this home. It was a great location, safe neighborhood, perfect size for our family (2 adults and 3 teens/preteens, and a granny who also stayed a few days.) The home could use some updates but generally met our needs.
Not recommended for family with young kids. The property is not clean even to walk on the floor or carpet. One of the bathroom wasnât working and was not fixed even after repeated requests. Would not stay in this property again.
We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for our needs, as we were attending a concert at Fidler's Green. The beds were super comfy and each room was equipped with fans for comfort. There is obviously some work being done on the property. The back patio walkway had some bricks out of place and the interior had some issues, such as no screens in many of the windows and difficult-to-open windows (older-style crank windows). The swamp cooler had a strong dank smell so we couldn't use it. Thankfully there is a fan-only setting, so we were able to run that without the swampy smell. Overall, the house is clean, but some of the furniture could use upgraded upholstery. It is an older house and it seems like the owner is working on some upgrades, but it is currently a work-in-progress.
This was a great location for our stay...close to family, a grocery store & liquor store within walking distance too! Also, there is plenty of space/rooms to spread out. The putting green in the basement was a fun element to the VRBO!
Came to Denver for a golf trip for a few days.. had a plumbing issue the first day we got there, Jeff reacted to it quickly so that was great. Overall was a good property. Would stay again
We enjoyed our stay very much! We are a bit high maintenance but the host Jeff was amazing and very responsive to all our needs. The rooms were all roomy and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The back yard was perfect for our two dogs. A dog waste station with bags was conveniently located and available for our use. A previous guest didn't clean up after their pet and Jeff sent someone over immediately to take care of the eliminations which I appreciated very much! There was also a comfortable desk provided big enough to handle my work station which I needed as I was visiting family and having a working vacation. We had such a good time we plan to make this a yearly occurrence and will be staying here again if it's available.
The inside of the house was very dirty, even after a second cleaning. The house is in need of serious maintenance. There were mosquitoes, spiders and other bugs throughout our stay. I tried to work with the host, but the only thing he provided was a cleaning the night we arrived. Had to move to a hotel after two nights because the bugs were so bad inside the house.
Nice property in a fun neighborhood with convenient access to downtown Denver, foothills and Highlands Ranch. Communication with property owner was easy, as was check-in and check-out process.
The location was perfect and gave us access to everywhere we needed to go.. The sleeping arrangements were great for 8 people. We cooked our meals most of the time and the backyard was so nice to sit and visit in.
We had a great time and the host was very responsive when needed.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay.
My friends and I stayed here for a reunion weekend and had a great time. Itâs the perfect size for a large gathering. Beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. Itâs about a 15 minute drive to downtown and centrally located. Thereâs a grocery store thatâs about a 5 min walk if you donât have a car. The house comes equipped with Netflix as well. We really enjoyed our time here. Thank you, Jeff!
It was a great stay! Only thing I would say I didnât fully feel comfortable with was the windows having no curtains at all in the main living area. Felt like there wasnât a lot of privacy. Overall great location and Jeff was very wonderful in communicating:) Would book again!
Unfortunately, our experience was not that as other reviewers. When we arrived, the house was not that clean. The smoke detectors were still in the drawer as described by another user. The main bathroom faucet in the tub didn't shut off properly, the toilet wobbled when you sat on it. It would be nice to have curtains on the kitchen and dining room windows so the neighbors can't look in at all hours of the day. The house didn't look just like the pictures, there were no doors on the closets and various items that appeared to have been neglected (ie light fixtures/lamps on the shelves, outlets missing covers, miscellaneous stuff left on the patio).
The kitchen appliances were nice but not clean and the beds were comfortable. Jeff did communicate well and the home did provide a place for us to stay while we needed to be in Denver. Based off the other reviewers and new posted signs about respecting neighbors and fines for damages we are lead to believe there may have been an unknown experience with other vrbo users who took advantage of the home and the owners are trying to recover from the damages?? We strongly recommend giving some attention to basic maintenance repairs.
