Hopkins Windsong Beach Villa est une luxueuse maison privée sur les rives des Caraïbes avec une piscine d'eau salée relaxante et de grandes terrasses. La villa nouvellement construite est située à une courte distance en voiture au sud du village de Hopkins à Sittee Point Estates. Privé, spacieux et entièrement aménagé, vous trouverez la détente à la villa une expérience apaisante!

Vous adorerez la cuisine ouverte, la salle à manger et les espaces de rassemblement qui s’écoulent vers la piscine et la plage. Les terrasses offrent un espace pour se détendre entre amis et en famille, ou se détendre avec un bon livre et une boisson fraîche.

Hopkins est un village Garifuna très sympathique dans le district de Stann Creek au Belize. We loved the villa - it had all the room we needed, was nicely appointed, with little things like coffee (and bug spray and sunscreen) available for us, beautiful location on the beach with a clean pool, kayaks and bikes for our use. The villa was perfect for what we were looking for and the host was responsive when we had questions. The only downside was driving the mile or so on the dirt and rut-filled road to get to the property. It really needs to be paved!

Quiet, comfortable, and beautiful

The photographs are accurate: you are directly on the beach and can experience the warm Caribbean breezes all day long. The town is a short drive away, and everyone is friendly and helpful. It's a great place for a short or an extended vacation.

Beachfront paradise

A wonderful house on a scenic beachfront property with all the amenities. Walking distance to Mangoes bar, short ride to Hopkins bars and restaurants. Good AC, we’ll stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, drinkable water source, nice pool and more.

Beautiful house

Beautiful house on the water, perfect for us as three couples. Better than the pictures. Short golf cart drive to village. House had everything we could want. Beach access, privacy, pool, plenty of outdoor space with good furniture. Lovely stay.

The property is beautiful. The host was a little spotty with communication, but answered all questions we had. The grounds had sand fleas. They also came in the house. We got chewed on for 4 days and non stop itching

We appreciate your Feedback, Kimberly. We are sorry to hear that you were not fully pleased with the communication. However, given that there is no staff on site as it is a Vacation Rental, the host is not available 24/7 once you are checked in. Nonetheless we were able to meet your request for extra linens in a timely manner (i.e. the same day). Additionally, there is not much we can do about Sandflies or any flies if the wind dies down (particularly in the evening time) they tend to come out. Kindly keep in mind that Belize is a tropical country, and they are a product of the environment. All we can do is recommend generous amounts of bug spray and lighting coils to combat them...or anti-itch cream or calamine lotion to soothe the itching once bitten. Thank you for choosing us!

Beautiful beach retreat

We had a great time in Hopkins at this lovely beach house. The refreshing pool is kept very clean (as is the rest of the property). There was a nice kitchen and plenty of space in the bedrooms and throughout the house. There's not that much infrastructure in Hopkins, so be prepared for that. We did eat at some excellent restaurants though, and the bar over the dock was really cool. Plus there are awesome boat tours that leave from the marina in Hopkins (some of the people on the tours with us came from an hour or more away, but we were five minutes walk down the street). It was a great vacation, highly recommend!

Exactly as pictured

The property is exactly as pictured in the listing. It has every amenity that you could possibly need, including flashlights and earplugs in each nightstand. There were thoughtful extras left by the property manager including pineapple, coconuts trimmed so we could drink the coconut milk, and local oranges. The neighbors property were just as nice as this property. The village is small and quaint, but we found everything we needed for groceries at the three stores in town. It was perfect.

Paradise Vacation Cut Short due to Corona Virus

The setting is beautiful ...the home is very comfortable and well maintained/brand new. The road to get to the home is a bit bumpy but ultimately worth the ride. We were supposed to be there for thirteen nights and were only able to stay for 5 nights due to international flights being curtailed. We are still waiting to hear from Home Away and agent as to whether we will be reimbursed as promised by Home Away or credited in some fashion.

Excellent Villa for us!

We wanted a tropical destination with a beach house & local culture, also a mix of rest and adventure, and this beach house hit the mark! Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, great well-equipped kitchen and an awesome back patio with pool and a beach that you could easily walk out far in shallow clear water. Host Mirko was excellent with communication, recommendations, and response during our stay. The house came with 4 bikes & 3 kayaks. We rented a golf cart to travel to the village and back for groceries, fruit stands & restaurants. We snorkled and fished with Happy Go Lucky Tours, hiked in the Cockscomb Basin, had in-house massages & ate at almost every local restaurant. Tropical drinks were amazing everywhere! We will return!

Great house and location!

Hopkins is a very quiet location to stay! The roads were a bit rough due to rain that happened before we got there. Not sure is they are always like that or not. We had 6 adults all together. The house was magnificent! Pictures don’t really do it justice! The pool was great, beds comfortable, it was awesome to have a kitchen that had pots and pans and dishes! The washer and dryer were a plus! I did communicate with the host multiple times and had no issues. Mirko was always helpful and responsive. Bikes were ready to use and we did use them a couple of times. There are 4 total. We didn’t have any issues getting picked up for excursions. If you are looking for local food, try Ella’s cool spot. Mango’s bar and grill is only a few houses down. They had American food only. We would stay at this house again in a heart beat!

Great for Family Vacation. Really enjoyed our stay!

Family of 6 rented for 10 days. The Villa was GREAT! Excellent accommodations (inside and out) and on a private beach. The pictures do not do it justice. Mirko’s communications were excellent from booking through checkout. Been to Sittee Point/Hopkins before and its less commercialized than San Pedro/Ambergris Caye area. For a central point to hit the adventure activities, Hopkins is it. For this location, recommend either a rental car or golf cart. Many of the restaurants, etc. in Hopkins Village are several miles away over dirt roads with lots of pot holes/bumps. Also, if you want to travel to activities outside of Hopkins you'll need a car. You can do it via tours, but we found that we were able to coordinate all of our activities and drive ourselves at a significant cost savings to having someone book tours for us. Back to the house….There was a decent breeze the whole time we were there so no real fly problem. Couple really minor things that could be improved: 1). VRBO description indicated that fishing poles were included. None available and Mirko explained that he did not provide fishing gear with any of the properties. Bought some tackle in town and went line fishing instead 2). The 2 person kayak only had one seat and the second set of seat hookups was missing/broken. Also needs drain plugs…….We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! Thanks Mirko!!

Belizian Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time in Belize and at this property! The listing pictures actually don’t do it justice. It had everything we wanted for cooking, swimming and just enjoying the beauty of the area. It was a little further from Hopkins than we had anticipated, but the bikes were a lot of fun to take into town and explore along the way! Overall, we loved the property and would definitely recommend it!

Belizean Warmth & Comfort

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful pool and great accommodations were enjoyed by six of us for over a week. No one wanted to leave. We enjoyed snorkling and fishing. The boat picked us up right across the street from the house in the canal. Three of us enjoyed affordable and professional spa service which came to the house. Mangos Bar and Grill was a walk up the beach or a quick drive. The kayaks got dav daily use. This was a great place to stay!

Hopkins Holiday

This property was exceptional. It was a great location with privacy and a short distance into town. There is one restaurant close by called Mangos and we had dinner there the first night as it was walking distance. We have stayed in many VRBO houses across the world, and i would say that this one was stocked the best. There was everything from Aloe Vera gel to hand sanitizer and a well stocked pantry. The pool was great - especially with the hot sun. The bedrooms were quite large and spacious. We would highly recommend staying here! We can’t wait for our next visit!

Great stay with a few minor issues

The property was beautiful and just as described - nicely appointed kitchen! There is a note on listing that say not to take coastal road when driving from the airport , but the map link provided takes the coastal route. We double checked when renting the car and caught that before we left, but it would be good to correct the link. we were told to call the property manager about a half hour out, but there was no cell service at all in between, so sure to pick a meeting time! The internet was very spotty, but who goes on vacation to work? Besides me:) The property manager was informative, but we didn't have much contact during the week as we anticipated, but we figured out all of our trips and excursions.

We loved everything with the exception of the WiFi and internet accessibility.
