Ideal location.

Beautiful property. Lots of space for extended family. Spotlessly clean and in great condition. Lovely people, very helpful and speedy communications. Very easy to get to 2 fabulous beaches. Highly recommend this property. We're hoping to return.

Barbados Villa near Mullins beach

Accommodations were completely as advertised. The manager Loraine was very accommodating. She hooked us up with a baby high chair , crib at the house was a full side Pack n play , so up to all safety codes. Lorraine also assisted in securing a Chef for one evening. Delicious. Also housekeepers cleaned every inch of the house

Simply Gorgeous

The property is above and beyond all of the photos. It’s very spacious, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Our grandchildren loved the large pool as did we. Lorraine, the property manager was so helpful in answering all our questions before our arrival and after.

Such a wonderful property and close to 2 amazing beaches. Bruce was very responsive and accommodating. Lorraine, the Property Manager was prompt and informative. The house had everything you could possibly need to feel at home.

Another great stay at this wonderful villa!

This is our fourth visit to Gibbes Glade, property is just as wonderful as the first time. Immaculately maintained, and in a fabulous position for two of the best beaches on the West Coast. Lorraine, the property manager, is extremely helpful, and the owner, Bruce, communicates incredibly quickly. We are already looking forward to our next trip to the villa!

Beautiful Villa and great Property Manager

Our stay was very enjoyable. The property Manager Lorraine was extremely helpful. On our first day while driving to the supermarket, our rental car hit a pothole and damaged both front and rear left tires. After many phone calls to car rental company it took about two hours to send help. In the meanwhile, Lorraine was kind enough to drive to our location, help us with car rental company and then went out of her way to take us to the convenience store and then back to the villa.

Close to the beach

Loraine, the house manager,was very professional and attentive. She helped us set up a cook to come to house and cook local food. We so enjoyed it. We loved that we could walk to the beach and the buses run nearby so we didn’t need a car.

Beautiful Barbados Villa

Everything is as described in the listing Very close to great beaches and restaurants. Overall we had a great family trip and would happily stay again ! Pros: - Very private pool and property - Very clean and well presented villa - some of the best beaches and restaurants are close by if you are driving - Very safe 24/7 - Host is very helpful - kitchen, bedrooms, family room etc. are all fit for puropose - we had a fantastic photoshoot at this house, given the lovely trees and interior. This exceeded our expectations (photographer was booked by us, not host) Points to note: - make sure you have a rental car if you intend to dine out, get to the supermarket or visit multiple beaches - internet is slow, with poor range. Working on anything other than documents online, from this location, will be a struggle. Host would do well to upgrade this - confirm beforehand whether soap (and shampoo etc.) will be provided - bring mosquito repellant or ask for citronella candles to be provided before your stay - if you want to use the pool at night - check that you have blankets etc. at check in - be prepared to cook if on a budget

Great stay at Gibbes Villa

Recent stay at Gibbes Villa with myself and 4 friends… The place was clean and tidy and the reality was very much in keeping with the images on line. The Property Manager, Lorraine was very helpful before, and during our stay, with nothing being too much trouble. Perfect for our needs, and we would definitely return… Excellent value for money…

A great stay

This property was amazing, we had a lovely holiday in a beautiful place. The owner and the manager were so helpful and made the stay really relaxed. Lorraine helped us book some great outings and was available throughout to contact if we needed anything. I'd totally recommend this property.

our Gibbs villa stay

my stay was excellent, from start to finish.from the moment i booked burce was great, very easy to get hold off and quick to respond.I had a slight problem after booking he was very helpful and understanding. The villa is amazing you have everything you want and more, definitely home from home.lot's of towels for use in the villa and beach.we were a family of different age's the kids loved the pool and made good used of it especially my 10year old great Granddaughter she loves the villa made herself very at home from the moment we walk in.The villa is within easy access to bus, beach, gas station for all your little essentials, if you drive even better as you have speightstown less than 10min with supermarket and other amenities. Lorraine the manager is brilliant she make you feel so easy that you can approach her for anything, she contacted me before we left for our trip, once we landed she was in contact all the way until we arrive at the villa. Once she showed us everything,she drove my grandson to the shop to get some things to get us started.Lorraine kept in contact making sure we were ok. I would highly recommend Gibbs Villa you will not regret it, myself and my family would definitely be back and knows exactly where we will be staying. Also Bruce provides you with all the different information you would need to help you. Thank you Bruce for a lovely villa. just also mentioned the cleaner, very nice lady, and not forgetting the pool guy

Wonderful home away from home 🏝️

The house was so beautiful and bright. The hosts have thought of every little detail and thing you could possibly need on your stay. The checking process was smooth and Lorraine was very helpful. The pool was perfect and my daughter loved it and we all made great use of the outside space as well as the BBQ. Would highly recommend and would love to return someday. Thanks for helping to make wonderful family memories 🥰

Lovely Barbados villa

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were great for our family of 6 adults and 2 young children and the villa was great as an outdoor living villa, opening up to a good back patio and pool area. We’ve been to the Gibbs/Mullins area several times before and the villa location in Gibbs Glade meant we knew the area, with easy access to the beautiful Gibbs beach. Lorraine the property manager was great - we didn’t have much cause to contact her during our stay except for one thing and she attended to that quickly. She was also really helpful in resolving a last minute issue with something we left behind - thanks again Lorraine! There did seem to be quite a bit of construction going on in the area and so some mornings could be a bit noisy, though neither the property owner nor manager have any control over that of course. It did make me wonder whether there’s any scope to limit such activity during peak tourist season, given how vital tourism is to the island. It was overall a much anticipated vacation, over all too soon of course. We’d certainly love to come back sometime!

Enjoyable stay at Gibbs Villa

We were a group of 3 couples staying at Gibbs Villa before boarding a ship in Bridgetown. It had everything we needed and was in a very nice location. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance as were the beaches and the garage up the road was very handy for essentials. There was a convenient cut though to Highway 1 which was handy and we caught a reggae reggae bus a couple of times, an experience in itself. My husband and I being the eldest of the 3 couples think a car would have been beneficial to get around a bit more, but perhaps that’s our age! Lorraine the villa manager couldn’t have been more helpful and purchased some essential shopping for when we first arrived and arranged for Dave the taxi driver to pick us up at the airport and to take us to the port on our departure. Our only negative was it would have been nice to have some cushions on the outside dining chairs as we spent a whole lot of time sitting on them chatting and eating/drinking and they were a bit hard after a while! Other than that thank you Bruce for the use of your villa.

Perfect villa and location

This villa is perfect for a family or group holiday. We were a group of 2 families with toddlers and it was just what we wanted. Great size, amazing pools and lovely location. Car needed for sure with kids but everything is very accessible and close.

Great location

Lovely villa. Lorraine, the property manager was lovely and contact with the owner beforehand was great. Unfortunately, there were builders and digging in the villa opposite for a few days, which was a little annoying! Would stay again.

Beautiful Stay for a Short Getaway in Comfort

This was the perfect place for our girls getaway for a birthday self-care time for a group of mature ladies. The neighborhood was safe, quiet and calming, the property was immaculately kept, the service up to, during and after the stay was thoughtful and speedy: whenever I contacted the owner (Bruce) or caretaker (Lorraine) they were quick to reply. They gave helpful tips on what we could do during our stay. The place just exudes relaxation. We rented our own transportation during our stay as the property is not easily reached on foot, but it was perfect for our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

The West Coast of Barbados, otherwise known as the Platinum Coast, hosts the best beaches on the island. Sandy bays with easy swimming in the warm Caribbean sea.
Gibbs Glade is in a quiet residential neighbourhood close to two of the best beaches, Mullins & Gibbs, which between them offer sports & solitude.
Being one step back from the busy coast road makes it quiet & private but still convenient for attractions.

The house is well proportioned, but its style & design gives it the presence of a much larger building. The gardens are private and match the size of the house, together with the pool.
