the appartment was clean and included everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Wonderful stay in Gueliz, Marrakech Marrakesh Morocco
Amazing location near the Marjorelle gardens, taxis and horse and carriages to access town. Well known location so wasy to get to. Good instructions from owner for arrival.Arrived at weekend so only got fingerprint on for lift access after a couple of days but that was fine for us but please check before booking if you have mobility issues. Shower drain blocked upon arrival which was disappointing in 38 degree heat but resolved in next 2 days by owner. Cleanish in general, acceptable for price. WiFi not working upon arrival so needed to buy data sims to even message owner about it! Or contact family to inform of our safe arrival.bought from a local shop - owner kindly helped us to activate. Sorted after 2 days by owner ( we stayed for 5). Pool lovely, only swam once as short on time and closed for cleaning on Monday when we initially went.Security at gate so felt very safe.Safe area with a nice spa nearby. Lovely balcony for morning and evening coffees. Spacious, 2 3 m maybe . Dont know what previous reviewer complained about! Also foldable clothes airer which we used. Well stocked kitchen in terms of utensils etc. Induction hob and oven, but personally we Didn't cook but used coffee machine, kettle, toaster and fridge freezer, washing machine. Some coffee there. There were 4 of us so we used the bedroom as well as sofa bed in the living room. There's also an additional sofa in living room which is nice. Also a tv but we didnt didch.Ac which was great.
the apartment is lovely. the balcony overlooks the majorelle gardens and is right by the yves saint laurent museum. the kitchen has lots of cutlery and pots to use and the bedroom cupboard has lots of towels, pillows, and blankets. a very cosy apartment with a lovely pool. it is quiet in the week and a little busy with kids on the weekend. the pool is closed for cleaning on Mondays. theres is a shop that sells water bottles just around the corner and it also sells alcohol. supermarkets are a little hard to find in marrakech but there is an app called glovo for delivery. taxis are difficult to get via app but there are people waiting to offer taxis at the end of the road.
the only negative about this apartment is that the kitchen and bathroom were a little dirty. the oven tray had stuff stuck to it so we didnt use it, and lots of the other kitchen items (such as glasses, pans, and cutlery) were a little mucky. the host provided a sponge and washing up liquid though so we gave them a clean before using. the shower didnt seem like it had been cleaned and the showerhead was old and had some limescale. we gave the shower a quick clean before using.
other than those small issues, this place was perfect. amazing location and easy to check-in at any time.
