À propos de cet hébergement

Le chalet est situé sur Ocean St. à Ogunquit, à quelques chalets de la célèbre plage de Footbridge. La zone environnante est résidentielle, parfaite pour la marche et idéale pour les enfants. Situé à quelques pas d'un arrêt de tramway qui vous mènera à travers les environs et Perkins Cove. La plage a une cabane à collation et des toilettes. Le chalet a également été mis à jour. Toutes les chambres sont fraîchement peintes. La cuisine a de nouvelles portes d'armoires, des comptoirs, des éclaboussures de dos en étain et un plancher. La salle de bain a une nouvelle douche et vanité. Ceci est le chalet arrière, les propriétés sont reliées par une passerelle ouverte. Il n'y a pas d'accès intérieur d'un chalet à l'autre. Perfect spot

Perfect place. Quick walk to the beach in a great neighborhood. House had everything we needed, and an outside shower at the beach is always a bonus!

Great stay

Finance and I had a few nights away after Labor Day, place was super clean and cute. Loved the upstairs/downstairs. Steps from the beach and 15 min walk to downtown, couldn’t ask for more really.

Location, location, location

We loved our stay! The walk to Footbridge Beach was quick and easy. The street is quiet. It was convenient driving to Wells and Ogunquit. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The outdoor shower is a major plus. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to return!

Beautiful cottage and great location

Stayed with my husband and several of our adult children. We rented both the front and back cottage and had plenty of room. Location was excellent and we were able to walk to so many things. Both front and back cottage were nice and clean.

Great location

Very nice and cozy. The location is perfect if you want too enjoy the beach without the need of taking your car. The place was clean an confortable. They have every thing you need in the kitchen, plus a BBQ/Grill. Highly recommend.

Great long weekend away!

House was perfect for us! We loved coming back from the beach (which was a nice short walk) and using the yard and outdoor shower. Easy drive into town and noticed plenty of trolly stops nearby which we would have used if it was running! House was extremely clean and well equipped with everything we needed. 5⭐️!

Beautiful Beach Bungalow

Immaculate property in the perfect location for Footbridge Beach and dining. Bedrooms imp stairs and room with twin beds has a door to keep quarters separate. Great communication with host.

We absolutely loved Ogunquit and this house is so quant and fun. It was so close to the beach. I had a morning walk to the beach every day I was there. Communication with Ken was easy and he was very willing to help with our needs. Things to remember: The bedrooms are upstairs and are a little cool this time of year. Extra blankets or a space heater might be nice but there aren't many outlets. Also remember to make arrangements to either bring your own sheets and towels or ask Ken about renting them at an extra cost.

Fall Stay

My family and I stayed over our Fall Break. It was perfect walking distance to Foot Bridge Beach and a great location to travel around to neighboring towns. The cottage was as described. We traveled during the cooler months and our arrival was 8:00pm. As the heat was not on prior to our arrival, we found the heater inadequate to heat all the sleeping areas upstairs. We planned ahead the following evenings and weren’t as cold as the first night.

Footbridge Beach Trip

Property was a great place for two or maybe a young family with 2 small children who are looking for a beach vacation. the proximity to the beach can not be beat. It's a stones throw away and it is the most beautiful beach in Maine! You can walk home for lunch and go back, get up early to see beautiful surise and walk the beach. cottage has all you need and it was very clean. Restaurants and shopping very close. Loved it!

Comfortable for family of four

It was a great place four our family with two toddlers. It was extremely clean when we got there. The outdoor shower is great and the backyard is perfect for kiddos to play. It is a very short and easy walk to the beach. FYI, the house has very steep stairs so it is not suitable for families with mobile infants. The ACs are quite loud but they are only necessary in very hot days since the house has a lot of windows for air flow.

Charming Beach House

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was exactly as described and immaculate. We had everything we needed and, as a result, had limited need to contact the owners. They were extremely attentive when we did reach out. There were lots of nice touches throughout that delighted us and made our stay that much more comfortable. The beach is steps away and there is a lovely cliff walk in town that we walked to from the beach. Great restaurants everywhere. We would love to do this again.

A Peaceful Retreat from the Daily Grind

The property is very well maintained. Very tidy, clean and there are plenty of dishes and a dish drainer to clean up after yourself as you go. It really was a treat to have an outdoor space with a picnic table with umbrella and a grill. It was nice to not have to eat out every night if you don’t want to. The proximity to Footbridge Beach can’t be beat, and you can easily walk to at least a handful of restaurants if you don’t feel like driving. You just need to bring your own towels and sheets, and everything else is provided. The only recommendation I can think of is to potentially increase the power/efficiency of the upstairs AC just on those really muggy nights. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice location. It was too hot to enjoy sitting on beach . We enjoyed ourselves. Nice back yard. The double bed is not in its own room. Very comfortable.

Perfect cottage stay

We stayed in the back cottage for a weekend with our two toddlers. The cute, clean cottage was small but perfect for our family of four as we spent most of our time outside--in the backyard, at their picnic table/Adirondack chairs, and at the beach. Location is so close to beach and you avoid the parking fees by walking. Recommend bringing a beach wagon for this purpose. Note, beach is also windy--great for kite flying and on hot days. LOVED the warm outdoor shower, which was key for rinsing off sandy children. Also within walking distance to some restaurants, but further away from the center of town--which can be a plus if you want to avoid the traffic in the middle of summer and just have a beach vacation. Owners were communicative and flexible, which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect getaway

This was a wonderful experience. The property is clean, recently renovated yet still maintains a classic Maine cottage vibe. All the appliances and dishes were clean and in working order. The yard is great for shared meals at the picnic table or for kids to play. It’sa short walk to beach in one direction and to route 1 restaurants in the other. The property owners were polite, responsive, and personable and prompt in responding to emails. I can’t praise the place enough. Another perk is that the other cottage in the property is close but separate enough for privacy. We rented both for extended family. It’sa great opportunity for two families to vacation together while having separate space.

Perfect in every respect for this active senior couple

This two level bungalow was immaculate and super organized. The owner’s instructions were precise and clear making for an enjoyable and carefree stay. The location could not be beat, a quiet neighborhood two minutes walk to the footbridge, salt water marsh and ocean and easy drives to lovely nature reserves. Many thanks.
