À propos de cet hébergement

Casa Tranquila est situé dans une rue calme à seulement un pâté de maisons de toute l'action au cœur de la plus ancienne ville du pays. Construit en 1917 avec des plafonds de 11 pieds, il a été rénové et est décoré avec goût et équipé de tout le nécessaire pour rendre votre séjour dans Historic St. Augustin une expérience remarquable.

Salle à manger intérieure, cuisine mise à jour, un patio extérieur situé sur le porche grillagé où les clients peuvent profiter d'un café et de scones le matin ou de cocktails et de tapas le soir. Dans le jardin, nous avons une table de pique-nique, Bar-B-Que, un foyer et un coin salon.
Nous avons Wifi, TV à écran plat, lecteurs DVD, jeux et films pour le divertissement.
Parking derrière l'unité. St. Augustine est un quartier très accessible à pied et notre distance jusqu'au centre-ville est à quelques pas, arrêt de tramway au bout de notre rue, à 4 pâtés de maisons au nord de Ripley's Believe it or Not (Believe it) et des portes de la ville, quelques pâtés de maisons de plus et vous êtes à St. Rue George avec de nombreux restaurants et boutiques. Castillo de San Marcos se trouve également à proximité. Une fois que vous aurez garé votre voiture, vous en aurez à peine besoin.

Casa Tranquila

This VRBO was excellent for location!!!! Only about 2 blocks from historic St. Augustine- we walked everywhere. It was clean and had all the comforts of home! Jim was very nice and always communicated with me promptly! We really liked eating breakfast on the screened in porch! Highly recommend this VRBO!!!

Cute little place in walkable distance to the historic distric. It has everything you need for a getaway. We absolutely loved it and plan on going back.

Convenient Cozy Cottage

Easy walking distance to St. George Street, and many restaurants. Easy to load and unload car. Screened in porch for al fresco dining. Comfy bed and quiet bedroom. Tight bathroom, in that the toilet seat faces, and is close to, the pocket door.

City of Lights

Location of property ideal. Unit more of a duplex than a cottage but very quiet, well equipped and comfortable. Though we hit a cold spell, we were nice and cozy inside. Parking in back is a bit tricky. Overall, an excellent stay and would go back again.cozy

Great property as pictured. Walking distance to historic district. Quiet neighborhood with couple of restaurants within walking distance away from the crowds. Only issue was mix up with code to enterbut host was quick to respond with correct number.

My best friend and I planned a trip to St Augustine, and found this wonderful cottage to stay in. It was very clean, comfortable and is a convenient location to Get to the tourist attractions and see the beautiful architecture from Spanish colonial Days. We highly recommend this cottage to future travelers.

Perfect little cottage!

This cottage was cozy and clean! We enjoyed listening to the rain on the porch and loved that everything was within walking distance! Cute little street that was super quiet, despite being close to the action! Highly recommend!

Two Night Stay

The yellow cottage was very clean and comfortable. We parked the car upon arrival and didn't use it again until we left. The location is perfect for walking to the historic/shopping/restaurant district. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Exactly as listed- such an awesome property that was a 5 minute walk to the fort/downtown area. Jim was so great with communication! My husband and I had a fantastic time! Definitely recommend!!!!

Quaint Cozy Clean Historic Cottage

We had such a wonderful and peaceful stay in your cozy cottage . Although we only live a few hours away, in Titusville Florida, I felt like I was transported to another world. It is so quiet, charming and peaceful here but we have all the modern amenities – the very best of both worlds. Located on a beautiful quiet street!

Great place to stay!

My husband & I try to take a trip every year for our anniversary. This was our first time to St Augustine & my favorite trip so far! The cottage was peaceful, clean, comfortable & full of charm. We enjoyed having coffee on the screened porch each morning. The location is excellent! No shortage of restaurants or activities within walking distance. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go! Many thanks to the host for sharing this property.

Convenient St Augustine location

Well equipped, clean apartment in the historical uptown neighborhood. Very convenient to walk and avoid parking problems in the city. Nice enclosed porch & also outside seating. Host provides helpful information about the area in a notebook as well as brochures from a variety of locations.

Location!

The location could not be better. Once we checked in, we parked and didnt move the car. Easy walk to almost everywhere. The house is old, but comfy. Remember, that in an older house, you may feel a chill now and then and the wooden floors are cold in the morning. This is not a criticism, just an FYI if you've not lived in an older house before. The screened front porch was a nice outside space. Beautiful, historic town with so much to see and do, all within a short walk. Shopaholics (like me) will be in heaven; full buffet of boutique, art and antique shops. Will definitely plan to visit again. Could not see all in one trip.

We had a fabulous stay over Memorial Day weekend. The city and beaches were bustling; and pausing and resting at this comfortable, super-clean, amazingly located cottage was a highlight of our trip. Jim was incredibly accommodating, and he provided excellent recommendations. Highly recommended.

Great Get-Away Cottage - A+ all around.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by our host, Kony the cat. Which was an added delight as Kony also checked on us the following day. The Cottage was Cute, Clean, Cozy, Comfortable, Convenient and Close to town. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see. Jim (the real host) responded quickly to emails to help plan our perfect get-away Birthday weekend. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Cottage

We were meeting friends in St.Augustine over Christmas. Found your wonderful cottage that worked out great. We parked our car and walked everywhere. It was quaint, cozy and private. Perfect for our stay. Great screened in porch. Our friends came over and we played games. Even though it was raining we were able to stay on the porch. Thank You Jim for sharing your wonderful cottage with us. Would definitely rent again.

Perfectly located in a quiet area but walkable to everything

Everything was as described, kitchen was well equipped, bed was very comfortable. The enclosed porch for coffee and dining was our favorite part. Our only issue was with parking. There was debris from remodeling and a truck in the promised parking space, so we had to park our large vehicle on the street. We actually moved some of the debris ourselves the next day in order to get off the street. With that though, we would definitely consider renting here again.

James is a realtor and a real estate investor. Together with his brother Richard they have developed this property in a vacation rental. Richard oversaw the design, furnishings and landscaping of the property. \

James and Richard were raised by their parents on La Gorce Island in Miami Beach. Our great late father was a real estate developer. Richard lived local and James lives in West Palm Beach, FL.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My late great brother Richard was already living in St. Augustine at the time and had fallen in love with the charm of the city and the people. We were looking for a property that we felt had a certain appeal about it along with parking spaces for our guests. When we came across this location we knew this was the one. Thru much continued hard work we have transformed what was just a duplex which was very outdated to an updated Vacation rental while still trying to keep the old world ambiance about the place by keeping the original floors (in the main living area) and high ceilings with ceiling fans.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We chose this property because the cottages sat behind the main house and in addition to that it offered parking in the rear. The first thing you will notice when you walk in are the 11 ft. high ceilings making the place seem very open. Prior to walking into the unit you enter thru a screened in Porch. With all the lush landscaping there is just a certain serenity that can't be described but must be EXPERIENCED.
