This is a great location right by the gondola. There is a beautiful view of the creek. The living room is spacious and each bedroom has plenty of privacy. The parking lot is convenient and easy to get to! The place is perfect for a family or a few couples who really enjoy skiing. It is also important to note the bus to Vail Village is right outside the door.
We prefer staying in this condo and another in the same complex a year earlier than any of the tiny room hotels weâve stayed in at other times.
It felt like home away from home. Everything we needed. Even found a tiny screw in the tool closet to secure a handle to one of our hoverboards.
Super well stocked kitchen. Comfortable furniture. Very clean for a larger 3 bedroom.
The building is well kept. Parking on site. Close to everything we needed and more.
Missed an in house washer & dryer but a free large capacity free washer/dryer on the property helped close that gap. Like many Vail properties, no airconditing for the hotter summer months but it was never so hot that we felt it too much. For the 2nd year we bought cheap box fans from Walmart that helped.
To summarize, near perfect for our family of 5 with 3 teens. Hope to make it a 3rd year soon. Love Vail in the summer.
The cons
- no hot tub (not a big deal for us since we don't use it)
- no in unit washer/dryer (wasn't an issue since we did a short stay)
We cook breakfast/lunch and sometimes dinner when we stay in ski in/outs and this was probably the best stocked kitchen we've been at.
The place was very clean and lots of extra blankets if needed. It was around 0-5F and heat always kept up no problems.
Its a great location in Lionshead. You are 3 min walk to the lift and right by the ski school. The nice part if you cook or need food the new Vail Market is a 30s walk. Its a very well stocked food store for a ski resort.
Great place if you need 3 bedrooms.
Great location, above Gore Creek and on the trail. Floors 3 and above would be preferable to lower floors, primarily for cross ventilation in the summer. This unit had been updated and is in great shape and well supplied. Drawbacks would be no dining area (other than at counter) and a remote (but free) washer & dryer.
Have rented quite a few different condos in Vail & Lionshead. This one would be on my list for a repeat. đđ
We had a great time in Vail at our treetops unit. It had everything we needed at our fingertips. The view was beautiful. The location in Lionshead village Is extremely close to the village, , a conveniece grocery store and a 15 minute walk to Vail Village. The decor is ok. The furniture was comfortable and conducive for playing games and laying out puzzles. . The open kitchen works well and has a bar to eat instead of a dining table. The only things that would have made it better was bigger bathrooms, an in-unit washer and dryer and a community hot tub and heated pool! We really enjoyed our stay!
