Pros:
- Decent place.
- Quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
Cons:
- There is a TV gadget, but no signal/service. It's useless. It wasn't indicated in the ad.
- The apartment was simply cold (in May). We needed to ask them to bring an electric heater, which was not sufficient either.
- The entrance door of the unit was not sturdy. It did not look safe enough.
- There were not enough towels to use. The ones available were of very poor quality and old.
There were several positives to this place. Great location: beautiful, quiet neighborhood, convenient, only a short drive to lots of stores and close to the 403 and 401. The hot water is instant. The sofa is comfortable.
However the space does need work. 3 out of 4 chairs are too short for the tall dining table. The toys are old and there are missing pieces. Most of the kidsâ books have wrinkles pages; a few have pages that are stuck together. The computer chair is peeling its leather. And the cleaning was lackingâwhen we arrived, there was an open jar of pasta sauce in the cupboard, bugs in the open sugar, mold and dust inside the coffeemaker, a lighter and pipe tucked behind the couch head rest, and a piece of hair on the dish sponge! We couldnât believe it.
We were grateful to have a place to stay but donât feel like we got what we paid for.
Needs bed side tables on both sides, needs bed side lamps, and radio alarm clock. Has TV, but only Netflix. And not tall person friendly, especially in the kitchen area. Coffee table and floor lamps would be nice too. Alot of walking noise from upstairs, esp early in the morning. But other than that, fairly comfortable place to sleep.
We could hear the kids running in the upstairs appartment. Coffee maker had old mouldy coffee in it and the bathroom tap was loose and kept falling off. Had to ask for toilet paper, only had half a roll for 3 adults for three days.
I had to quarantine from an international work trip and they allowed me to stay - it was on the way home from the airport. Clean, comfortable accommodations, with everything I needed
