Charmante suite perchée en hauteur avec vue sur la forêt nationale Daniel Boone. Le balcon offre une vue spectaculaire sur la portion Big South Fork du lac Cumberland. Le studio "Rustic Suite" est décoré de bois de grange véritable, de couettes confortables, de meubles charmants et de touches spéciales. Il a internet haut débit et câble. Le studio est situé au-dessus du bureau du Lake Cumberland Resort III. La tête de lit et les étagères du coin salon sont fabriquées sur mesure en bois de grange vieux de 100 ans. Sois notre invité!

Amazing experience

The rental was well maintained and perfect for our trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and VERY accommodating. They gave great hiking recommendations and went out of their way to make our stay special!

Cute little suite!

Cute little suite above business/store/small restaurant. Host was very accommodating, we ate at the restaurant one evening and it was very good! Nice place to come back to after hiking, and other adventures in the area.

Guest book/binder about the area was very hepful! Peaceful and quiet.

Suggest you add a blow dryer, and iron and ironing board.

Cozy Loft

The loft was very nice and extremely clean. Enjoyed our stay…just big enough for 2. Could use a more comfortable chair for reading/watching TV. Very cute and quaintly decorated. Bed was comfortable.

Perfect Hiking Getaway

This studio apt. Is so cute and is perfect for 1 or 2 people. It was very clean and quiet. The property managers were great and it is perfectly located in the center of many hiking spots. I will be back!!

Nice, quiet retreat

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little place. It was very nicely decorated. It was also close to many beautiful places that were within a half hour drive. The only drawback was the very curvy 5 mile road from the main highway to the top of the hill. The benefit was the great view from the balcony. Thanks for having a great place for us to get away for a few days!

Cumberland Falls Hiking

This was a perfect fit for us during our short trip to hike around Cumberland Falls. This spacious suite was comfortable, clean and stylish. Plus, the kitchenette was great because we brought our own food. It was very quiet, too, likely because it is the off season for the Cumberland Lake area.

Charming, comfortable studio

This 2nd floor studio is spacious, with a large bathroom and a full kitchenette that includes a fridge/freezer, small stove/oven and microwave. There's also a George Foreman outdoor grill to use on the balcony. Beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. Quiet and remote with a beautiful view.

Top of the hill

Easy online rental with a follow up email & phone call and Text message from property management the day of check in I arrived after office had closed but the system they had in place worked out just fine. Nice view setting in the front deck. Bourbon bar down stairs food available enjoyed this get away from it all Stay, I will have a return visit

Clean and spacious!

We stayed in the rustic room. The room was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable with soft bedding. They are remodeling the back of the building we stayed in and looks like it will be super cute when it's done. Shop on the 1st floor was convenient for coffee and snacks. Enjoyed listening to the band from our balcony on Saturday night! We had a relaxing stay here.

The worst sleeping experience I've ever had :(

Overall, the place was pretty clean and served it's purpose. However, there were several issues that prevent me from recommending to others or returning. ESPECIALLY #3 1) Too much nonfunctional tchotchke. After traveling for 8+ hours and wanting to immediately make dinner, it was annoying to first have to spend the time declutter. No clear surfaces to put our stuff. 2) Only one really, really dull knife was provided. I didn't bring my usual camping utensils this trip since the booking said the items would be provided. Difficult to prepare meals without a decent knife. 3) Worst sleeping experience - ever! All of the external light sources come right through the blinds - worst of all is that advertisement sign, which provides an unwanted flickering light show ALL NIGHT LONG. This issue detracted from my vacation the most as I was clearly sleep deprived by night 3. I couldn't find an eye mask at any of the nearby stores - had to resort to tying a bandana blindfold style at night - which was not comfortable. 4) Tub drain was clogged. While the water pressure was great, standing in 3-6 inches of dirty water while showering was not. I tried to clear the trap myself but the clog wasn't on the immediate surface. 5) Noise from downstairs Unfortunately for us a guy in the seating area below decided to take a call on speaker phone while we were attempting to nap. On the positive side, we enjoyed hiking, the deck and the foreman grill.

Unfortunately, there will be issues to overcome along the way, and we do our absolute best to correct those. This encounter is not a true representation of what we offer in our rentals. We take pride in our reviews. Because we are nearly at a 5-star rating, we are a Super Host on Airbnb and a Premiere Partner with VRBO. Currently, we are at a 4.8 rating. We apologize for any inconveniences during your stay. We are glad you enjoyed the hiking, deck and the grill. We would have like to have know of your disappointment or issues at the start to address them promptly. Most visitors appreciate the room and kitchenette, even for longer stays. We enjoyed visiting with you and wish we were aware of your concerns. We hope to host you again soon to provide you a better experience. We have many smaller cabins that may better suit your needs. Moving forward, we will continue to work with our Six Sigma Consultant on our company policies and procedures.

Great for a girls trip!

Such a cute place for a girls weekend trip! Easy drive to boutiques and dinner, and also only about 25 minutes to the trails at the falls. We loved coming back to have drinks and hanging out on the room’s balcony after a busy day. So clean and nice! Cute shop below. The property manager and sales clerk were nice and helpful giving us ideas of what to do.

Millions of stars twinkling in the sky

Very quiet, relaxed, nothing to worry, just enjoyed staying this Lake Cumberland resort. While going out to the terrace, millions of stars above my head twinkling over the icy air. Many great hiking path near by. Yahoo falls and arches trail is excellent, I saw only two groups during my 90 minutes hike. Nature was all with me.

Very clean and neat the people were nice and friendly everything was provided for everyday use. We just had no need to use it. We will book with property again it’s beautiful!! Next time I will ask for something a little bigger. I can’t think of anything to complain about except the one day of rain.😀 we enjoyed ourselves and thank you

Perfect little getaway

We loved this little getaway! What a cute and cozy place to stay. Very clean and loved the rustic touches. Close enough to lots of food choices, hiking and the falls, but tucked away enough for quiet in the evenings. The Dianne and Steve were very accommodating!
