We had a large group, thankfully some of them didnât show up, not sure how we would have fit. Thereâs one tv in the living room and youâve got a couch and love seat to sit on. Not sure where they expect the rest of the people to sit. All of the pool cue tips are broken, the washer is broken and bangs so loud it will wake everyone up on the spin cycle, fire pit was full, grill not cleaned from last guest, hot tub is on its last leg and really nasty. Other than that the house and deck are big. If you donât have high expectations this place is good.
My family and I stay here for a weekend and love it. Enough room and privacy for everyone and very clean. Kitchen had everything to cook and dining table big enough for everyone to sit at once. Will definitely book this place again.
We got to the cabin about 3:30. Was pleasantly surprised by the size of the cabin, last one was very small even considering it slept 10. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. The only issues we had was parking, only enough space for 3 vehicles, and the washing machine was horrible. Could not get it to balance properly so it sounded like was about to take flight. But overall a great place to stay.
The beds were uncomfortable and the pullout sofa was broken as well as the washing machine. The AC went out twice and the loveseat on the porch was broken as well. Iâm not sure the owner was aware of all the issues so Iâm hopeful that they will be resolved soon. Itâs a beautiful place and very spacious. If those few things are fixed I would not have a problem staying there again.
Overall ok
- Only 1 tv in the family room
- All pool cues need new tips, made it extremely hard to play
- trash left outside in ground by deck from previous tenets
- cookware no stick coating mostly gone from many of the pans
- 1 towel in the master bath?
- hot tub water smelled like pond water
- floor grates in pool room need replaced
- beds were comfortable
-deck was nice
- location was great
Nice cabin, good location. Loved the hot tub! Could use hot mates in kitchen and sofa bed frame was broken, could use mirror in bedroom. But we had great time. Master fauced was broke
The reason for my lower rating is due to mainly the cleanliness of the property and the parking area. Parking even cars in the driveway was difficult due to loose gravel and washed out culverts. We made it work but it was a stressful task. As for the cleanliness, a cleaning fee is included in booking so when we arrive it should be clean. The floor was filthy. Our feet were black within 30 minutes of walking on floors. There were spider webs hanging from the light fixture in master bath and a hug web in corner by mirror. It appeared to never be dusted. Baseboards were dirty. There is mold around kitchen windows. There is a musky smell under the cabinets.
There were a couple other things that others may want to know about prior to booking. 1: the grill is old and damaged. 2: the microwave has rust and is old 3: the wifi wouldnât connect to gaming consoles for kids 4: the master showers knob is broken and just falls off 5: the parking is on a steep incline. 6: there are no seasonings or condiments available 7: the washer is loud and outdated 8: the kitchen table needs some conditioning, everything sticks to it. 8: no cleaning supplies for wiping down counters / stove/ etc.
The location to lake is great. The scenery is beautiful. But the rental needs some upgrades
The stay was not what we expected. The cabin was not clean. The main guest room the closet was locked for the owners use so I had to hang my clothes in my family closet way Down the hall. My bed was broken they had a folding table under the mattress for the deep dip in the bed. Broken slat on the bed. Mold on the bathroom wall, handle broken off the shower. Under sink in kitchen smelled of wet sticky mold. Cracks in the back door. Just walking up to the cabin the porch had bird nests over the front door. This was just not inviting. The outside was not cleaned either. The bbq grill all rotted out. This Cabins owner needs to clean up before renting this made over mobile home made into a cabin out!! And the host stop responding after you have a complaint
There was a lot of miscommunication about the pet deposit which inconvenienced a couple of people that had planned to bring their fur babies . In the communication between me and the property manager, part of the pet policy regarding pet deposit was left off. The group that I came with are all from Houston and play tournament pool so it was important to have a pool table. But the table was positioned so you could not really shoot accurately from the each end .
When we got there, lights outside near the hot tub and the coffee maker didnât work but the property manager did make sure that the next day we had a working coffee maker and sent someone to fix the lights
The bathrooms do need updating . The water pressure in the king bedroom was poor and we had to fix the faucet head because it came off and the faucet in the other bathroom was shaky and it was stuck on shower so you couldnât switch it completely so water came out from the faucet as well making water pressure not so good.
Overall the cabin was a cute cabin so if you want to rough it a little , this one is the cabin for you.
The cabin is in a good location, so that was a plus. The steps leading up to the front porch seams to be missing the first step. It makes for a leap trying to get on the porch and ultimately into the house. I can see this being very difficult for families with elderly people. And itâs definitely a safety hazard. The inside of the cabin wasnât very clean on our arrival. Dust bunnyâs everywhere. Kitchen is well stocked, but the knifes suck, so I would suggest bringing your own. Spare bathroom had mold all over it. It needs to be completely replaced. Some of the mattresses are old and sunken in-needs to be replaced.
We came here for an adult getaway. It was nice and peaceful! We truly enjoyed our stay! It was also nice to not be past hochatown so we didnât get caught in all the traffic going to and from the cabin.
Like the building very much but the location leaves something to be desired. The road in is poor and gets worse after the pavement stops. There are loose dogs running around. The listing as 14 is questionable as the upper bunks cannot be accessed safely. Both back bedrooms had sheets with hair on them and were missing smoke detectors. Our group of 7 adults and one teen made do but I cannot recommend this property.
Property was listed with 2 full bathrooms but only the master bathroom was usable. The 2nd bathroom is a disaster. Mold on the tub walls. The tub faucet assembly is hanging by a thread and cannot be used. Water has been going behind the wall for quite sometime. This has been reported several times according to other reviews. Appears it wonât be addressed until it blows off the wall. All twelve guests had to use the main bathroom which was a bit inconvenient. Hot tub water was very cloudy and had a bad odor. What little grass is very high and should have been mowed. Overall cabin/trailer house was neat and orderly. Beds were comfortable, ac worked and area was close to all attractions. For an older cabin it is nicely finished inside. Outside needs attention to make it more desirable. Overall being united with my children and grandchildren we had a great time.
We had a group of 8 for a paddleboarding trip on Broken Bow Lake. The cabin was large enough to accomodate all of us in terms of rooms and dining table. The location of the cabin is so close to Beaver's Bend State Park and Hochatown that we didn't have to travel far to get to anything. We had a great time.
