Beautiful location, comfortable and well-equipped cabin, although we could not get the Keurig to work.We loved being able to cook our own meals, and eat on the porch!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting on the porch in the evenings. We had a few raccoon visitors, which was cute.
The grill was missing, so we purchased a small one and left it there for others to enjoy.
Cabin itself was as advertised. Information was adequate, although more info on some of the systems/appliances would have been helpful. It took hours to figure out how to engage the heating system. Entry road to the cabin was kind of scary (narrow with no shoulder, dropoff into creek), but after a couple trips manageable.
We came down here to celebrate our engagement! We love Broken Bow sooo much! Canât wait to get married here. The cabin is super beautiful and we loved the fire place!
This was exactly what my wife and I were hoping for. A nice and cozy cabin nestled in the woods sufficiently distant from other cabins. Lots of trees! The cabin was perfect, the outdoor deck on the side was a great dining spot! The porch was a wonderful spot to start the day with some coffeeâŠ
The property was very quiet and secluded. I was glad I rented and SUV to drive. The road was steep and at night very hard to see. The cabin was very nice once you get there. Shower had mold around it so thatâs why I marked it down on cleaning.
This property is neatly tucked away and perfect for two people. We stayed in May so did not use the fireplace. I donât really have any complaints about the unit itself. We did however fish while we were there and couldnât throw the remains in the trash can without a fine, so we had to drive around for a dumpster to drop them in which also isnât permitted; I feel like there should be a better way (maybe explain it in your guide book).
IT WAS GREAT SECULEDED CABIN. ONLY ISSUE WAS GPS DIRECTIONS MADE US HUNT FOR A MINUTE TO FIND THE CABIN AND THE CABIN ADDRESS ISN'T ON THE POST AT DRIVEWAY AND YOU CAN'T SEE THE CABIN. THE ONLY OTHER COMPLAINT I HAD WAS THE SIDE PORCH NEEDS TO BE PRESSURE WASHED. WITH ALL THE RAIN IT WAS SLICK. BUT I WILL FOR SURE BE GOING BACK
This cabin was in a nice area but called the cabin manager and she was very helpful with finding me the Rocky Comfort Cabin and it was a small challenge with yhe tv but was resolved before the maintenance man came but he still came in to check out yhe situation and everything wss hood after that until the mext morning my partner woke up with bleeding and we came back to Shreveport to emergency room whete he was admitted until Sunday at noon. So been trying to reach the manager about rescheduled the two nights I missed but cant get response I paid a 46.99 fee of incase of and incident stated it wasn't what I thought and sshe
Needed curtains in the bathroom and parking was not good. Hard to fet in and put if properly. Dishes were not clean, they had to be washed before we could not use them
Yup, Bed Bugs and roaches. My wife and I stayed there 3 nights this past weekend. The Cabin furniture and carpet area looked dirty with several stains. Even the Navy colored bed cover which we didn't use looked stained and dirty. First night we saw a couple of small German roaches, not a good sign. Being 6 hours away drive from home, decided to toughen up and enjoy as best we can. 3rd day I started getting what looked like mosquito bites on my legs (but there are no presence of mosquitoes in or around the cabin that I can notice. So I dismissed it and went along. Last day (check-out morning) I wake up early morning and start feeling and seeing clusters and rows of bug bites (classic bed bug patterns) on my head, face, neck, arms, etc... WHAT A NIGHTMARE.
For the high price we paid, we would've been better off at a Motel 6 cleanliness. Contacted the host, but no response. There are several other minor inconveniences about this cabin but they pale in comparison NEVER AGAIN.
If youâre looking for a dirty, dusty, moldy, and yellowjacket infested cabin.. this is the place to go! Upon arrival, were a little taken aback by how steep and narrow the driveway is. I would avoid bringing a truck if at all possible. The cabin appeared okay at first, but had a slight musty smell. The bathroom shower has mold and mildew build up, and everything has a thick layer of dust on top of it. It looks as though the interior ceiling has had water damage, and mold growth. We woke with allergy like symptoms after the first night. After reading the review book at the house, SEVERAL previous guests mentioned the same concern about the ceiling. We arrived back at the cabin later in the evening to find at least five yellowjackets surrounding the floors by our bed. I was pretty concerned one would end up in bed with us. On top of that, youâre required to clean before you go. That must be the only maintenance this property sees. I contacted the host regarding our experience and never heard back.
