The normal unit we stay in at Gulf Shores wasn't available this time around, so we stayed in this unit for the 2nd time in about 5 years. The unit looks nice, but the little details that were missed make it a unit we give an average overall rating too. The toaster was broken, there werent very many glasses to drink out of, the floors were dirty, so we couldn't go shoeless in the unit without our feet looking like we'd walked across the pavement barefoot. The bathroom mirror and light fixtures were caked in dust, and the ceiling above the shower had peeling/chipping paint. There's no table to accomodate eating inside as a family. The same table that was broken the first time we stayed in this unit is still there. It can't be pulled away from the wall to use for eating on because the legs are wobbly and are turned inward. They feel like the table will crumble if it is moved. The bathroom sinks were slow to drain, and the bed pillows were flat and just plain broken down and need replaced. The area rug in the main room feels dirty and needs cleaned or replaced.We left a list of several things that need to be addressed to make it a unit we'd ever consider staying in again. A little attention to detail by the owners would make it a cute unit. The location is great!
