Much needed vacation

We had researched a variety of properties in Cabo San Lucas and this particular property and especially specific Condo stood out! It did not disappoint! The view, location, service, comfort, the decor, work out facilities, pickleball courts, and on site restaurants were all FABULOUS! We do not say this very often and we are picky travelers-WE WILL DEFINITELY be back to this resort and will rent this unit again!

Gorgeous everything!

This is a beautifully decorated condo with the most amazing view of the arch from every room. We loved having our morning coffee and night cap while looking at the gorgeous views on the cozy balcony. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable and all slept very well. The staff was always friendly and offered great service and assistance with anything we needed. Would absolutely stay again.

Great experience

This property is beautiful! Such a great view, super clean, & very friendly staff. We purchased the all inclusive meal plan (alcohol not included) which allowed us to enjoy meals at all three locations within this resort area. We highly recommend this option. We purchased alcoholic drinks occassionally, but went to Walmart to purchase our own alcohol. I would definitely recommend this location & we be visiting again in the near future.

Really nice property

We had a great week at Villa La Estancia. The apartment was very comfortable and has a lovely view across the bay. We were there during Spring Break and so the property was busy, but it wasn't a problem. We didn't have any issues making dinner reservations, and particularly enjoyed dinner at La Casona on our last night. While the pool was busy because of Spring Break, the staff were very helpful about bringing out extra chairs. All of the staff working at Villa La Estancia were extremely polite and friendly - thanks for helping us to have a fun vacation!

Great villa with 5 star views

This is a unique unit at Estancia. It sleeps 4 adults perfectly. All rooms have an amazing view on the arch and Lands End. The unit is stocked will anything you'd need to cook meals. Our concierge Sam was delightful to work with and helped us with all of our dining reservations. The villa was clean and well kept. Giovanne was wonderful in keeping us in contact. We used Victor's transfers and were very happy with the ride to and from the airport. We will be back for sure !

Beautiful Room!

Room and view was stunning! Only thing that was a disappointment was that the air does not work in either bedroom so you had to leave doors open to get airflow which meant no privacy. Most of our problems were with the resort itself. The staff doesn’t follow through what what they say they will do (ie calling when room ready, making reservations, rules that aren’t listed that they don’t disclose). Some of the restaurants were completely inedible, especially Bella California. If you do the meal plan (def not worth it), be sure to keep copies of your receipts as they do not give you a detailed invoice at the end of your stay. They tried charging us for a lot of things that were included and then expected me to go to each place it happened to fix their mistake.

Dear Ashley, We regret the resort staff didn't mention that the air conditioning only functions if the doors are completely closed in an effort to conserve energy and possess sensors to that end. This Villa was inspected just the month prior to ensure they operate perfectly. I run the private owner rental program and have never received any complaints about this particular Villa, as it is one of the premium units in the entire resort. Our private Concierge reached out to you to offer dinner reservations, and restaurant recommendations, not realizing that you opted for an onsite meal plan and regret that this option was less than desirable for you in both your enjoyment and record-keeping. We're sorry that you found this particular visit disappointing and invite you to contact us, directly, regarding a future visit. We selected Giovannis place as it was recently redone and had a terrific view. As host of 5 years on my 3 properties I know what to look for and expect. I was busy before our departure when I realized less than 24 hours before our flight I still had not received and exact address, access instructions or any information. I immediately sent out an email to both Giovanni and the on site property manager requesting the information. I then heard from some guy in California that I would be hearing from someone soon. Several hours later I finally did with a note that a different person would be meeting us at the property to walk us in. Giovanni then finally emailed me to check my flights as they may be delayed due to the big storm and "also be aware there’s some construction happening as well but you’re in an amazing unit and you should be fine". This was the first I had heard about any construction, less than 24 hours before I was to arrive. Construction? Turns out the property owner was notified a month prior that jack hammering all around the pool area, jack hammering in units for new drains and people remodeling the villas next to ours. True if we sat inside we couldn't hear anything. But if we wanted to enjoy our deck or sit by the pool we were assaulted every day 9:00-4:30 with major noise disturbances. We came to Los Cabos to relax and celebrate our daughters MBA graduation and a jack hammer going all day wasn't our idea of a calm vacation. We enlisted the new property managers help to allow us to use the pool at the Arco resort next door (we could use the restaurants) but after a full day of waiting around she was only able to get us pool access to the Palomar pools which were not as nice and catered to a "party" crowd. That played loud thumping music and played games in the pool all day. We arrived just after a big rain storm and the villa ac was set at 69 degrees to cool things off, it was freezing and we immediately shut the unit off as we were all cold, even the gal showing us agreed it was freezing. We tried to set the temp for 75 but none of the 3 units would change. We left the units off for 2 days and opened the doors to warm things up. We tried not to be upset by all the noise and disturbance but it was a challenge. the final day we had no water for a few hours then no hot water all day and then we could use Arco facilities to shower. The owner is selling the unit so hence no one cared about us.

Hello Kimberly, We regret that your stay did not fulfill your expectations. The month of September, immediately following an in-season, is utilized to maintain the grounds, and make needed repairs to individual units and the resort overall. Information to this effect is shared on our website along with information on travel insurance as well. Unfortunately, the risk of disruption is ever-present during this time, particularly as it is hurricane season. This off-peak time is reflected in the lower nightly rates than other times of the year and because guest numbers are fewer; it allows for a necessary pause in order to perform needed maintenance. The VRBO website, as well as, our personal website mention being cautious during the month of September, as it is hurricane season. Cabo San Lucas experienced a heavy storm prior to your arrival. As mentioned in the description, September is the month that many restaurants and businesses close, and a majority - if not all - of the resorts perform upgrades and perform special projects, such as redoing the pool, during this time. This is why the rates reflect a discount, especially during the month of September. It is unfortunate that all of these events occurred during your stay. The Villa in which you stayed was, indeed, sold by me as Agent of Record just shortly before your arrival. The new owners, besides being very excited, are very committed to personalized service and continuing the 5-star service as other guests have experienced. Work being performed is limited to the hours of 9 am – 4 pm to help mitigate any possible disruption. Our onsite Concierge is/was available throughout your stay and whose paramount concern is the comfort and overall pleasant stay of our guests. Villa La Estancia is one of the most well-regarded resorts in Cabo San Lucas. Wonderful experience

The condo had a perfect set up for two couples. 2 master bedroom suites. The view and outside balcony were a highlight for us. The complex as a whole was great: clean, everything you needed, and anything you needed assistance with was done quickly and happily. The location was awesome. Would highly recommend this property!
