2 adults, 3 kids. Plenty of space. 13 yr old son loved fishing on the river outback. He caught a large trout and 2-3 carp and several smaller fish. We enjoyed the outdoor space the most. Kitchen well stocked with cooking needs. Perfect location. Close to it all. Would definitely stay again.
Enjoyed a relaxing time in this wonderful cabin located in a small quiet community. Sitting on the large deck overlooking the river as it slowly flows by is an added plus to this gem. The hostess is very attentive to your needs and we will definitely book again in the future.
The cabin was so nice! Although the inside was comfortable and felt like home, the back deck next to the flowing river was our favorite spot! We would definitely stay there again
We wanted a good lace on the river to relax before back-to-school. This home didnât disappoint. The owners were very accommodating, and communicative regarding our stay. The river was awesome, and perfect for playing in. There was a festival in town that was fun to visit. We would love to come back next summer!
The house is beautiful and the back porch and yard are truly amazing with the river right there.
If youâre lucky and look carefully you might spy some mountain trout.
Cabin is quaint and wonderfully appointed. We enjoyed the beautiful river while sitting on deck and around fire ring. Had a great dinner in downtown Blairsville and also visited the Living Waters winery with stunning views. Highlight of trip was 1st Birthday party for Granddaughter at Vogel State Park.
The river location was great. The house was as described and tastefully furnished and decorated. The cleaning company left a lot to be desired. The back porch was great once we cleaned it. The furniture and grill were filthy with dust, dirt and cobwebs when we arrived. Do not leave food on the counters. We placed a box of donuts on the counter and woke up to a kitchen full of ants. We wiped the counters, sink and backsplash down several times a day but the ants kept coming back. There were no trash bags, the bathroom soap dispensers were completely empty, and the coffee pot had an old filter with coffee grounds covered in mold still inside. The owner was pleasant and mostly responsive and we did end up extending our stay a couple of days due to a last minute change of plans. We honestly feel we should have been offered a refund on the cleaning fee since we spent a great deal of our own time cleaning, battling ants and purchasing items that should have been provided.
This is one of best houses we have ever stayed at. Perfect location for a visit to Blairsville, Hiawasee, Dahlonega and all of the many wineries. There is also lots of hiking and antiquing to do. We also were so pleased with how friendly and welcoming everyone was.
The best part of this house is that it is located right on Nottley River. My husband and I had coffee every morning on the back deck watching the river and the wildlife, and a glass of wine at night.
We even watched fishermen float down the river and they even gave my husband excellent tips on how to catch trout. He was to used to catching catfish! Haha.
If we could give this house more than 5 stars we would. A definite hidden gem!!!
My husband and I along with our friends, John and Lynda, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing, cozy cabin. Everything was very nice and convenient. The heart of pine flooring and walls gave the cabin such a warm, welcoming feeling. The outside porch and deck which overlooks the Nottley River was a retreat in itself. We spent a lot of time there just enjoying the sound of the water and the beautiful fall foliage. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night with a nice campfire. The neighborhood is very pretty and the neighbors are so friendly. We even made friends with a precious dog named Rocky who chose to spend the day with us. We met him as we walked around the neighborhood. His âdadâ came and got him in the golf cart after a while though. We enjoyed apple and peach pie from Mercierâs and cooked dinner there at the cabin each night. Took a few scenic drives and ate lunch out ⊠love Sawmill Restaurant and Hole in the Wall, both in Blairsville. Cristin was extremely responsive and a perfect hostess for any questions we had. We highly recommend this adorable cabin and definitely plan to return in the future!
Property was in quiet neighborhood, but close to highway. Cristin was quick to communicate when we needed to. Location is not far from town (about 8 miles) which was nice since Mom ended up in the hospital for a couple days. Mom enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the river. Beds were comfortable and fireplace really set the mood for relaxation. Had everything we needed.
We didn't spend much time at the cabin because of the wedding and related events we were attending, but the cabin is conveniently located to Blairsville, the Southern Trees wedding venue, Vogel State Park and several other trails.
Awesome cabin in a quite peaceful neighborhood. My grandkids are 2 and 4 years old. They had the time of their life in the Nottley River. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Definitely wouldn't mind doing another trip there sometime. The host were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this cabin.
Nice location, quiet, and friendly neighborhood. Cabin was clean and host and neighbors were more than accommodating especially when we locked ourselves out with our phones inside. I would definitely recommend visiting anytime of the year, it's worth it.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated home that had all items that we needed to help make our stay great. We loved the back porch and river. We even cooked a couple of trout that our grandsons caught a Vogel State Park at the kids annual trout rodeo a few miles away over a wood fire in the fire pit at our cabin. This will be a great memory for all. I highly recommend this stay.
We all enjoyed the cabin and the river thoroughly. The kids had fun playing in the beautiful open spaces around the cabin. It was a very relaxing experience.
We really enjoyed this cabin. Nice neighborhood, beautiful spot on the river, well equipped, rustic, but very comfortable, would definitely come back. Sunrise Grocery and Jims Smoking Que, and Hole in the Wall!!! A+
Great location right on the stream. Decor is really tasteful and rustic. Love the fireplace in the living room. This is a really cool place.
Great location minutes from downtown Blairsville. Not too far from Helen.
We are local owners making sure that you and your family fall in love with the North Georgia Mountains as we did. This cabin is a place where Nana and Papa can escape the polar vortexâs of Northern Michigan and give us a reprieve from our kids (I mean they get a reprieve from the snow). When they are not staying near us, we love sharing the beauty of North Georgia. We hope you love it as much as we do.
Blairsville, between it all! This property offers a great jumping off point to many adventures. Centrally located, you are able to explore a variety of mountain towns without the long mountain drives.
