We had a great stay! The house was really nice and clean. Close enough to Toronto to take day trips and there were a lot of stores of restaurants right outside of the neighborhood. Would stay again if we come back to the area. Nav was a great host.
Convenient to the airport in a nice family neighborhood
A suburban residence, convenient to the airport especially if you need to run back and forth there a lot getting and dropping off visitors.
Communication was solid and the few requests we made were promptly answered. Very reasonable host who obviously cares for, and about his property.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Difficulties
The place was a construction zone; the stairs had exposed unfinished wood (framework), there were missing faucets/fixtures on the sinks and overhead lights, and there was a lot of extra furniture in the house (living spaces did not appear as the photos). Host was difficult to communicate with (host let preliminary booking request lapse and then asked me to rebook, host took 2 weeks to respond to booking request update, no check out instructions were provided).Couned).asked
Born and grew up on the west coast [Vancouver] and the prairies [Edmonton]. Travelled extensively through North America and Europe with stints into South East Asia. Have been living in Mississauga/GTA for the past ten years. Engineer, entrepreneur, and all around "bon vivant".
When I moved into this home back well over a decade ago it was a very new subdivision. I planted a lot of trees and shrubs at that time both in the front and the backyard They were about 5 ft. tall at the time. Over the years many have grown to over 40 high. This year I plan to renovate my back yard so that you can also enjoy their warmth by adding a patio and access to the natural beauty and shade these trees provide. At the moment though, you can only enjoy their splendour through the windows. Hopefully the renovation and patio access will be complete by spring.
