Bushy Beaver Bar

This bar was built in 1906 so there is some really cool character. The main bar area has a kitchen in the back with a old log bar to eat around. There is also an island with lights above to eat at. There is a propane fireplace, but the furnace will get it plenty warm. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms with one queen and 3 double beds. Washer and dryer is upstairs also. When you walk upstairs as you go in you will feel a slight unevenness with a slant to one side when you walk in. I don't notice it anymore, but after 100 years this would be expected. There is a park across the way for kids, but mostly this place is for adults. The property is not child proof and probably not the best for toddlers. This is more of an adult setting, but great for taking young kids hunting since we do have video games and pool table.

The place was great, lots of things to do and games to play on the main floor. Everyone in our group was impressed by this place and we will rent it again.

Good value

The accommodations were perfect for our family gathering. Unique to rent an entire bar area. Price cant be beat. Owner was welcoming and great to work with. The town was also super friendly and welcoming to tourists. We would definitely book again if in the area.

A piece of paradise!

This place is amazing! Big Falls Muni is right across the street, with food, pull tabs, beverages and tons of fun! Lots to do, four-wheeling, fishing, hiking, swimming, lots of trails right in the heart of the wilderness. A must stay! Best little town in the middle of gods country!

Fun get-away for friends!

Lots of rural charm to this establishment and local area! Both the bar and separate upstairs bedrooms were clean and cool (a/c works great!). Fun games to play in the bar area, and great WiFi for downtimes to watch the TV/Roku there. A short walk away from the bar is a nice walkable area for the Big Fork River, which was very nice and scenic. Was a fun weekend get-away for my friends and I, and we would return again!

Bushy Beaver, a Great Stay

We couldn't have asked for a better place for our sturgeon fishing time. Excellent place to end a day on the river. Plenty of room to relax, shoot some pool, throw darts, enjoy the rustic bar or veg out in front of the large screen TV while the jukebox plays a wide range of tunes. Large kitchen for meal prep. Great sleeping arrangements on the upper level. Darby the host is great, very easy to communicate with. We'll be back again.

Cool hangout space ★★★★

The Bushy Beaver Bar is a nice rental which we used to augment our stay at the Bald Beaver Lodge. The bar offers a huge gathering space, plus there are 4 private rooms for guests via a separate entrance. We didn't end up utilizing the main-level bar area as a large group, but several members of our party enjoyed the buck hunting arcade games, the working keg taps, the deep fryer for late night snacks, and the cool AC. I can see how it would be a great event space for a family reunion, bachelor party, etc.

MSD 2023

We had 6 guys staying there for the PCA paper mill shutdown. Lots of room! We did not have much of a chance to take advantage of the bar area. Pool table, Dart board and arcade games all free! Next time it will be for fun not work.

Great Owner to Rent From!

Darby is amazing! Always available and super fast responses. Extremely flexible and kind! Lower level met all of our needs for our family gathering. Very spacious with tons of entertaining amenities. Upstairs provided what we needed. Towels were clean and smelled great for shower. Location is scheduled for upgrading, which is needed. But overall, happy with our rental and extremely pleased with Darby's customer service!

I started coming to Big Falls in my early 20's when a friend of mine that had property in the Big Falls area that I went to basic training with invited me to go grouse hunting. I lived on the prairie my whole life, so it was great to be in the woods. I love to hunt and fish, or just to do anything outdoors, so Big Falls was the place for me. There are miles of logging trails to go hunting on even if you don't have an ATV you can drive down the logging trails with a car or truck. Spring people go look for mushrooms along with Sturgeon fishing on the Rainy River about 25 miles from Big Falls. Late July blueberry picking is something the locals do. 4 wheeling and hunting are the big attractions in this area. 4th of July is a big event in Big Falls each year with a great fire works display.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Where else can you rent your own bar? We have a big cooler along with a fridge and chest freezer incase you are up hunting and need to store game. We have put the 2 big tables together and cleaned bear in the bar area and butchered our game. I have a smoker that we use to smoke sturgeon when we catch them. There are horse shoe pits outside and I have horse shoes in the bar for your use. This is a older bar, so it is not modern, but we do have internet and TV's

Being able to relax in your own bar for a few days. When the bar across the way closes you can walk back across to your own bar with no closing time.
