We were very happy with this location. Everything was just as promised. We were shocked at how close the house was to the ski run. It doesnât get any better than this.
Great cabin for large family. Well stocked with everything you need except shampoo, conditioner, kitchen dish towels (2 for each kitchen; we had to wash them after each use) not enough dish soap, but plenty of dishwasher pods and NO laundry soap at all.Bring your own. We stayed June 19-June 24, 2025 and only had enough of these items for 2 days for a party of 15. Apparently I didn't read the rental contract closely enough. No BBQ grill. This is a 3 story cabin with lots of stairs; not suitable for folks who have difficulty climbing them. Also, be aware that part of the approach to the cabin is steep and unpaved. There is a market down the hill for needed supplies. Angel Fire is so beautiful; I'm sure folks will enjoy the surrounding mountain environment. Hot Tub was nice and plenty of towels.
There were 15 of us there to ski. It was perfect in every way: location size and stocked better than any we have stayed out. Thank you for the wonderful house.
Our family of 18 enjoyed our time at the O'Dell Cabin. It was perfectly equipped and comfortable. Thank you for providing a beautiful home to create lasting memories.
A true ski in/out mid mountain home with great amenities like hot tub, mud rooms and heated floors with plenty of room to spread out. A couple things like master tub and faucet in another bath but overall great.
It was good , but couch beds need better mattresses . Also the grill needs to be on upper deck . Owners donât want a grill there anymore which is a huge mistake . I get a charcoal grill, but grass grill should not be a bother. Men like to grill. If you donât provide grill in the future we would probably find a different place to stay. What we are paying should have one. But itâs their place and they can decide. This was my Thursday time to rent and I like the location, but not it would be a deal breaker for me. I take very good care of the place while Iâm there .
Very roomy with 3 lounge areas, one on each floor, was perfect for my teens & rest of our extended family. Ski in- ski-out was perfect cause we had older kids that just did whatever they wanted. We had several inches of snow & crew came to shovel driveway almost daily & shovel deck & stairs. 4WD is a must in winter months. Just a note, bring laundry detergent unless your kids are better at hanging up towels than mine. It was nice to have dish detergent provided. Overall great stay!!!
Super convenient ski-in/ski-out. Beautiful and cozy house with lots of massive exposed beams. Amazing view out over the valley. Small inconveniences: no coffee in the house, made the first morning a fristration. Two clothes washer/dryers, but no laundry detergent. Thatâs it for negatives. Otherwise a great place and highly recommend.
I can't imagine that there is any better place to stay for a ski vacation than this house. Almost step onto the ski slopes from house. So easy to stop for lunch, bathroom. No need to call for pickups or dropoffs or worry about parking. 10 of us had a lovely time. Quite pricey but well worth it! House was bigger than what our family needed. Didn't use second kitchen. I would not want 18 people there though, what house sleeps. We liked having actual beds for all the adults in our family.
Our family and friends went to Angel Fire for the first time ever and fell in love with the O'dell cabin. The cabin was very spacious for our group of 7 adults and 3 children. The surrounding area was beautiful and the sunrises and sunset views were amazing. The hot tub was wonderful to use and the location and quietness of the cabin were perfect for our getaway. The only issue is the lack of hot water for showering. Our group of 10 had to "schedule" shower time (1 person showering every 45 minutes)due to the hot water running out so quickly. Also, the location has plenty of trails in the summer for exploring with ORV (off road vehicles), but do not go up the trail next to he house on the Angel Fire resort otherwise Angel Fire Employee (Steve) will yell and cuss you out for trespassing, even though no signs are posted and no warning was given. Other than these issues, we loved this cabin and would definitely come up again!
