This is like being on a private island. Once you enter through the gate, you pass through a PNW rainforest on your way to the estate.
When you arrive, you will notice that the temperature is generally about 10 degrees warmer than right on the beach. Many days I am driving in fog on the 101, and pull down into a sunny paradise in our little microclimate.
The home has lots of history; it was the original settlement of Waldport and had a cannery, a general store, a post office and the ferry landing.
A lot of the original details have been preserved, and we have also converted a shop of the former owners (copper and jewelry artists) into a gorgeous contemporary home with tons of architectural detail.
Total privacy (except for watercraft, harbor seals and river otters, who can be nosy), endless amenities and a one-of-a-kind location that we are so privileged to spend time in, and to share with our guests.
