Property was spacious and comfortable for our group of 7. It is one stop light from the resort. we had a non-skier in our group that did the drop-off and pick up daily which made it very convenient. You are probably 2 minutes by car from the resort and 8 minutes to the Safeway grocery store. Cabin was warm (not drafty / old) nice modern appliances. We fit a 4 dr Ranger pickup in the garage and a suburban in the driveway and it fit perfect. Host was responsive. Very easy house to settle into. It snowed for 3 of our days and the view was great. Lots of windows to takein the snowfall.
We had a fun stay at this VRBO with 9 people and overall it was good. However, the mattresses need to be replaced and it needs a solid deep clean but overall we had a good time and would recommend staying here.
Good floor plan, our boys loved the loft area for hanging out, nice sized master bedroom w/bath and 2 decent sized bedrooms downstairs. Fantastic location for heading to winter park to ski/board.
Super clean and ready for use. Check in process was easy and great communication with host. If you are traveling with family there are games for use. Great quick trip with the family.
Very cozy condo settled in trees. Great view of the mountains from the kitchen. Close to Winter Park Resort. Biggest plus was each adult room had its own bathroom! And of course the hot tub!
In addition to being beautiful and located just minutes from the slopes, this house has all the extra touches that make it a home-away-from home, like a fully stocked kitchen and a heated pad to walk out to the hot tub. You can tell itâs well-loved by the owners. The neighborhood is fantastic and very dog friendly, too. This was definitely a five-star family stay!
The property was in great shape and clean. Josh responded promptly to all messages. It is also in a great location right across the street from the main ski resort. We had a great stay and would definitely return. We would also recommend to anyone traveling to Winter Park!!đđȘ
Lots of room for our family of 6 and hot tub was a bonus. If you are staying here to ski and plan to ride the bus, highly suggest you store your ski equipment at mountain base, walking from the property to the bus stop would be tough if carrying equipment and wearing your Ski boots. Kids also had a blast playing in the deep snow in the backyard
This was a great home for our group of friends and family including two small babies. It has plenty of privacy in the downstairs bedrooms to set up a space for infants while the adults hang out and have dinner on the ground floor in the open kitchen and living room. If you're coming to spend time at the resort it is literally right across the street and very easily accessible. We had more than 2 cars and did not have any issue parking in the over flow area on the road. Awesome stay!
We had a wonderful time! The only problem was not finding the communication book for awhile. It had the WiFi password in it and we didn't know it was there. There was a delay in their answering our messages asking for the WiFi PW and for low grill propane. Also we ran out of toilet paper.
Great time for both skiers and non-skiers alike. Location is perfect for both bus transport and drop off lot. Really enjoyed full kitchen and grill - room for everyone to eat together. Everything we needed was handy and in good shape. Layout worked well.
Dogs loved floor heat almost as much as our skiers enjoyed the hot tub. Had a great time snowmobiling with Grand Adventures 2hr Continental Divide tour, Paint & Sip, and Karaoke at Devil's Craft all close and easily accessible.
The house is set up for winter fun and located right by the ski lifts.
Not for summer guests. The yard was over grown by 4â of weeds and grass which run through with mosquitoes and ants. Not possible to sit outside by the hot tub because you canât see over the grass/ weeds. House has no special other features for encouraging summer fun.
Good location. Easy check-in. Could use some upgrades/deep clean.
Good little vacation spot. Watched a fox hunt in the backyard on the last day.
- Nice little backyard
- Great for pets
- Friendly neighbors
- Decently clean (little dog turd in the basement when we arrived? kind of gross, questioned if it was cleaned after the last stay. sure hope so for a $300+ cleaning fee)
- Decent parking
- No AC (this is probably more of a winter home. house did get up to 77 during the day in the summer)
- Appliances were below average (microwave door is terrible, bottom right burner on the stove only lights one half and leaks gas out the other half- CAUTION, grill is in rough shape)
- Hot tub is decent (there was an empty propel bottle in it when we first opened the lid? goes back to the clean part)
My husband and I stayed in this property over 40 days this summer. The location of the condo is great and the neighbors are wonderful. The property itself was a disappointment. I have stayed in many vacation homes over the years with this being the most poorly appointed home I have ever encountered. When we arrived, the home was clean, but the kitchen was very poorly stocked. They have installed new appliances and have new all-clad cookware, but the glassware was a collection of random glasses and there was not a complete set of silverware. Truly, the items lacking in the kitchen are too numerous to list. There were many other things wrong with the house, such as: threadbare sheets/towels, 1 bathmat for the entire house. A broken light in the primary bedroom closet, broken blinds, windows that don't open and close properly, overgrown landscaping, stained carpet. I did speak with the property manager who sent someone over to do a repair and to cut back the weeds. She offered to reimburse me for some of the items that I had to buy (glassware, silverware, sheets, etc), but since we had driven, I chose to just take them home with me. I understand that renters don't always take care of things as they should and items get broken or go missing, but the manager should be responsible to check that the home is being re-stocked to meet minimum standards. Until the owner reinvests in this home, I can't recommend that anyone stay here and certainly no one should plan an extended stay.
We loved staying in this spacious home- room for everyone. The hot tub was a delight, the home tucked in the trees with a view of the slopes was relaxing. Short walk to the shuttle, extra parking around the corner, It was everything we needed and more!
We are 3 siblings in Denver that bought this place for our families to use, since we are all pretty busy and can not get up as much as we want we figured we would rent it out to share the space that we love so much.
