Everything was perfect from start to finish. Communication was excellent, the home was clean and very private. Loved having the private pool and access to the kayaks and paddle boards. Highly recommend!
Great spot with easy access to lots of family friendly stuff. Very private back yard and nice fenced in area. Pool and screened in porch combo is great for familyâs with small kids that still need to be supervised. Being able to get to Kikiâs for a quick margarita is also a plus! 10/10 will stay here again.
Cheaper than two hotel rooms. Easy to find. Beautiful kitchen. Two nice sized bedrooms, and two full baths. Great little pool and hot tub. It was perfect.
Property was clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning was cold. Pool was great, yard could use a little cleaning of dead palm fronds/weeds. Overall would definitely stay again. Property manager was very easy to communicate with. Fast response every time.
Very close to Key West with nice amenities shared with the condo complex next door. It doesnât have a grill onsite which would be a good thing, but you can use the one in the common area around the corner. Pool was awesome to have and the screened in porch was nice to keep bugs at bay. Laundry is in the unit along with plenty of towels and quick responses from the property managers for needs we had. Weâd stay again.
Loved staying at this property! The pool is the perfect size, great temperature and makes the best spot to just hang out and enjoy the sunshine. Nice size bedrooms, well equipped kitchen. Thereâs not much on this Key except for one restaurant next door but itâs easy to drive to the Key, Big Pine right before it where thereâs a lot more food. Loved how this property was shared with the little resort so we had full access to kayaks and paddle boards if we wanted. Also really loved and appreciated that it is dog friendly! Our chihuahuas loved this place and had a great time enjoying the pool too. Perfect place for 2 couples and a dog, was great for just us as 1 couple too.
My only suggestion would be upgrading the mattresses.
To be fare about the price it was a last-minute rental during a peak time, but I noticed the price went down to 600 a night the day after I left. It felt like price gouging. About the home. There is a lot of mold in the ceilings from previous water damage that affected our breathing, and we had a flood in the master bedroom from windows that were never installed properly that ended up soaking our luggage and clothes. The property manager responded right away and brought us some towels to help dry the place. I showed the Maintenace personnel how to fix the leak and where to purchase the materials needed.I would not choose this rental again in the future. I felt that it was a bad deal and waste of money. Kindest regards,Jonathan Lopez
I loved this place, is cozy, private, clean...our family enjoyed. The only negative point is they advertise they are pet friendly but when you read the rules at the property, they do not allow pets. I'm glad, my dog is a registered service dog because if not, this it would have been a problem.
This is the perfect resort complex, with all sorts of amenities and right next door to Kikis! We used the kayaks multiple days and the pool. Bill, onsite was amazing at helping us with kayaks and paddles and life jackets. The site was very clean and well kept. This listing also has a huge rooftop patio that I don't believe was mentioned in this listing, which was perfect for watching the sunset.
Our stay here was wedged between stays at larger resorts. The private pool & laundry gave us the opportunity for private time away from everyone, to do some laundry & relax. Property is as described. One reviewer complained about bathrooms but they've obviously been newly updated now and are nice. Not large but clean & complete. Also, another reviewer stated the hot tub is not heating and that was still the case for our stay. The manager was also very responsive when I asked about the missing hairdryer - one was promptly delivered. Kiki's Sandbar next door is awesome. We drove into Key West after our stay here and could see how it would be a good place to stay if you want proximity to KW but not be in town.
The house is in a great location and not too far from Key West. There were lots of ants in the upstairs bathroom, several of the blinds upstairs were broken, the main floor was not the cleanest, and the hot tub was not heating. The pool was great and the sunrises were wonderful!
The house was cute. No pictures included of the bathrooms. They need to be remodeled in a bad way. The shower doors were gross. The house has not had a deep cleaning in years. Several fixtures with inches of dust, baseboards and corners of rooms/doors havenât been cleaned in quite a while. Wash cloths would have been nice to have.
Overall, the property met my expectations. The neighboring cottage guests were friendly and helpful. I brought my boat and was able to park in front of the property and that was a plus. The pool was nice to have to cool off after a day in the sun fishing. I plan on staying again.
Good property if you are planning activities in the area
We chose this property because it is close to a friendâs full-time residence on Big Pine. For this purpose, it was perfect. I would not recommend this house for anyone looking for a resort or luxury experience. If you are planning a chartered fishing trip, or any other water activities, and you simply need a good place to stay, this property would fit the bill.
Wow, what a great place! Sad that only 4 nights were available but we loved it while we were there. The pool was perfect in size, location, privacy, and convenience. Love the placement of the electrical outlets in the bedroom -- just above the night stands, not behind the headboard or other hard-to-reach spot. Loved everything about the house and it's so convenient to stores, restaurants, and other keys (30 minute drive to Key West). Joseph replied to all communications very quickly.
For travelers: If the downstairs shower is a little tight, the upstairs has more room :) Also, bring your own kitchen linens as none are supplied.
For the owner: As mentioned in a previous review, kitchen linens would be a nice touch. Also, a little shelf in the downstairs bathroom above the toilet or towel bar would be a great addition due to limited counter space in the bathroom.
LOVED IT and hope to return some day!!
Great location with fantastic amenities & views of Big Pine Channel. However, the unit was not clean AT ALL. Bathrooms weren't touched, surfaces had not been dusted and the floors weren't vacuumed or mopped and it showed! I elected to purchase cleaning supplies to spruce up the bathrooms & kitchen rather than allow the cleaning staff to return. Kitchen is not adequately equipped for cooking, so we elected to dine out instead, which was fine for vacationing anyway. Addition of some kitchen linens would be nice though.
