The Lodge est un refuge boisé situé sur 20 hectares de collines, de bois et de zones humides. Vous pourrez admirer la beauté naturelle de cet établissement et admirer les daims, les dindons, les oiseaux aquatiques et les renards. Avec un accès privé au lac de l'autre côté de la rue, vous pourrez découvrir le lac comme un habitant. Les sports de loisirs ne manquent pas: pêche, terrains publics à proximité pour la chasse, la natation, la navigation de plaisance et le kayak - il existe même une piste cyclable pour les Prairies et les bois à moins de 1/4 de mile!

This was our third year staying at the property for the Winter Dance Party in February. Love this place and the location is perfect.

Family vacation

Peaceful location set back off the road but still easy to get to. Very clean and adequately stocked with the things we needed. Large areas upstairs and downstairs for gathering.

We all had a great time for the second year! 11 of us from age 68-8. Beautiful home and had everything we needed to cook our meals! Loved the space inside and out!

Visiting Great Grandpa DeBell

We all came from North Dakota with Papa and Nonnie to visit Great Grandpa DeBell. The property is beautiful and gives us a wonderful place to stay all together while we are visiting family in Clear Lake. Lots of space to play indoors and out. Lots of wildlife to enjoy every morning and night.

Wonderful property

This is our 2nd yr staying over the 4th. We had a very enjoyable stay. Our kids and grandkids had a blast. Great yard for entertaining and playing yard games. We will be back.

Great neighborhood

6 bedrooms and plenty of couches to relax or sleep on. Living room has great views of wildlife. We saw many turkeys and deer each day and evening. Also great place to view the stars at night.

The Lodge Delight

The description of The Lodge is an understatement. The host and facility were beyond our expectations! We enjoyed our privacy and the room to spread out! We took family photos in the shade of the trees on the property. Our family time has created memories for all. Thank you!

Winter Dance Party

This was out second year at this location. There were twelve of us all over the age of 57 and we enjoyed it very much. Plan on booking for next year also. It is so relaxing and wildlife right out the windows to watch.

Love staying at the Lodge

Our family of 11 adults enjoy staying at the Lodge. Plenty of room and beds for all. The parking is a plus for us. Three classic cars for the Cruise around the Lake, plus a truck with a boat and several cars for everyone to come. We really enjoy the space and watching the deer and turkeys is fun. Its very clean with everything you made need. This was our second stay there and coming back next year. Judy R.

Amazing!!

Our time at The Lodge Home made our Family Reunion at Clear Lake even more fun! The house is super clean, beautiful, spacious, and the host great to work with. We enjoyed the pool and ping pong tables in the downstairs - it's like a separate home downstairs!! The beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting in the front room and going out on the deck to watch the deer. We are appreciative for our wonderful stay and would stay there again if we are back in Clear Lake.

Family Fall Retreat

What a lovely, well equipped home. So quiet and restful with a short walk to the beach. We made great use of the pool and ping pong tables with a friendly competition complete with nick names. Losers bracket competed in giant Jinga. Evenings featured boards games from the large sectional on the lower level as kids slept above. Such a quiet home.

Beautiful

Beautiful house and property! Very clean and lots of room for us all! We all enjoyed seeing the deer and wild turkeys and walking the trails in the woods. We also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table and played a family softball game in the backyard! Grilled and cooked meals and it is very well stocked. We will come back! We all had a great time from age 7-68 years old!

Labor Day Girls

For the past 23 years, us college girls have been getting together every Labor Day… We loved the space in this home for all of us….Everything close by…We rented a pontoon, we played games around the table, we watched wildlife, we walked to Ventura, we had pizza at Other Place Clear Lake, we went to watch a band in Ventura and Clear Lake… we had a great meal at Sevens in Clear Lake….we met up with dear friends in Clear Lake…We ran out of time….There was enough room for all of us and everything we bring….We will be back!!

Family Christmas

Our family loved the size of the house and it was very clean. The scenery was wonderful. We loved seeing deer and turkey every day. there are really only 5 bedrooms, the 6th is a room in the basement with no windows. We were ok with that but others should know incase they aren't. and the place needed some minor maintenance including a new grill and wish the fireplace would have worked but still a place we may stay again.

Great home and great location!

We reserved three homes in the Clear Lake area for a family gathering. We used this home as a base of operations and larger gatherings. It worked perfectly and the entire family loved it and had an amazing time. Plenty of space for sleeping and activities. The pool table was a little beat up but the ping pong table became the main hit. The dock access was a nice addition once we found it and utilized it multiple times with pontoon rentals. We will be planning on staying here again for sure!

The best rental we have rented for 11 people. Lots of room and plenty of parking .

Saw turkeys and deer which was fun. Lots of room for a family get away. We enjoyed our stay with plenty of parking for all the cars plus a 2 car garage which we used for classic cars for the cruise around the lake.

Wonderful home! Comfortable and well stocked. Great private setting.

We really enjoyed this spacious home with ample beds that were comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked as well. We would definitely do this again.

Wonderful home

Had an annual family vacation and this property was perfect. Not right on the lake but made up for it with wildlife. Had deer and turkeys every day come right up to the back of the house. The grandkids were thrilled! At one point had 3 turkeys come up to a ground level window! Fantastic pictures for them to share. Lake was easy to find so they got to fish and hike. Will be back!

We had a wonderful time. Lots of wild life.

We had a great stay. Very spacious and clean. The lawn was kept up and we enjoyed playing games and flying kites in the back yard. Patio furniture on the upper deck was great in the morning to enjoy breakfast and coffee. Two sitting areas on the ground level but no patio furniture or fire pit. But very nice overall experience.. Definitely will be back.

Beautiful, Private and substantial vacation home

The house is massive! We had my immediate family of a total of 9 people stay with us. There are 6 bedrooms, so both of my toddlers were able to have their own room! The three rooms are full size beds though, so keep that in mind for sleeping arrangements. Works perfect for kids, plus they are all in their own wing of the house. The other 3 bedrooms worked wonderful for the adults. We absolutely loved the privacy of this house. It was tucked away behind the lake by Ventura. Only about a 10-15 minute drive to the beach downtown Clear Lake. We were able to see two little fawns in the mornings; plus other wildlife such as turkeys. There was so much room for everyone to relax in. All of the supplies were provided and plentiful. You do need to bring your own lawn chairs, as it is only a patio with a table set, which wasn't a problem at all for us. We brought our girls' bikes as well as there is a long driveway for them to ride around in. Family with kids, I would recommend bringing outdoor toys or some for the house as there aren't any provided. The only con, is the communication, but that just might be me. I like to hear from the host frequently and responded to in a professional matter of time. We were able to receive our access code and eventually receive answers to questions, but it seemed to take awhile. So no worries, if you're concerned on that, you will still receive access to be beautiful house. Thank you so much for opening and sharing your beautiful house with us! The Ryan Family
