This was such a lovely home for my siblings and in-laws to spend our weekend. It was the perfect place to come home to after having fun exploring Zion National Park. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, and the drive to Zion Canyon and Kolob Canyon is quite beautiful. I would definitely recommend this home to anybody looking to stay near Zion National Park.
We had a wonderful stay at this home. The house is beautiful, is very well laid out, and is stocked with everything that we could possibly have needed. The host was very gracious and helpful. The area was beautiful! I would absolutely stay there again if we return to this part of Utah!
We had three couples and two individuals that stayed together in this house for 3 days, with plenty of space. It was clean and homey with a spacious parking area. The location was quiet and safe with a beautiful scenery. There are several stores and the best restaurant close by. I would definitely stay here again.
Neighborhood is quiet. It is centrally located to many places that we were hiking in. Gas and groceries were close by. The owner responded quickly when we had an issue. The paper products, soaps, hair conditioners, and body lotion were a nice touch. The place was clean and a good place to rest between activities.
My family and I wanted to visit Zion National Park for our spring break so I began my search for a home that would accommodate all 10 of use. I found the blue door house and liked what I saw and read on the reviews. The house was very nice and cozy. We all fit very well. Another thing we liked about the house was how close it is to the park. We really enjoyed our time in Utah. Thanks!
This home was a perfect match for our family of five (three teenagers!). The layout and open family spaces were fabulous. We greatly appreciated the âextrasâ like a few k cups, some toiletries, TP, trash bags, etc. (And for anyone wondering- there IS a crock pot!) Beds were all very comfy and bedrooms nicely furnished. There were also plenty of linens! We were there for 12 days and had a few family movie nights which led to our only critique: the den furniture is in dire need of updating!
We went to Zion, hiked the Narrows, the Subway, Taylor Creek & Angels Landing; went ATVing, repelling, and rode the dunes at Coral Pink Sand Dunes state park. It was an incredible family time full of adventure and we weâre grateful for this property! We HIGHLY recommend SUAC (ATV rentals), Seth at Southern Utah Guiding (for repelling) & River Rock Roasting co for food.
We highly this property and hope yâall have as much fun adventuring as we did!!
Fantastic location to Zion and Bryce National Parks. Grocery and gas just a few blocks away. Could not have gotten a better location for the value. We had everything we needed!
Nice central location to various NPs. We mostly went to Zion but took a loop to Antelope Canyon (2+hours) then North Rim of Grand Canyon (2+ Hrs) then back to La Verkin (2+) king day but the drives werenât bad with so much wonderful scenery.
Me, my son and 6 of his buddies took a trip to Zion some hiking. We picked Kerri's property due to location, price and the ability to accommodate all 8 of us; and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. It is situated in the middle of the south entrance into the park, and the northwest entrance into the park. The house is amazing, and exceeded our expectations. We reached out to Kerri on a couple of occasions, before and during our stay, and she responded quickly. We highly recommend this property if you are visiting Zion, or this particular part of our great country.
House was comfortable. I know it has climate control but would be nice to be able to open windows. Could use a few more storage containers for kitchen. Light switch in laundry room randomly works. Location was great - Close to Zion. This is a very small area but has a grocery store and gas station. Well worth the price.
I really wanted to love this property. The location is excellent and the floorplan is very well laid out. However, there is some serious cleaning that needs to be done. I spilled some water on the floor and went to wipe it up with a paper towel, and the paper towel was black. The pots and pans all need to be replaced. I would not even donate them to Goodwill. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced for a variety of reasons. This property would be greatly improved by a very deep clean and a few upgrades to furniture. That would make it a five-star place.
The house was clean and neat with a well stocked kitchen. The location was great, nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed time in Red Cliffs and Snow Canyon between our sons soccer games. We would definitely stay here again!
Amazing house, even better than the pictures and description
My family's trip to Utah was amazing and relaxing, and a lot of that had to do with this house. It was in a nice, quiet location that was easy to get to and close to things like a grocery store gas station, and restaurants. It only took about 25 minutes to get to Zion National Park., which was one of our main reasons for visiting the area.
The house itself was great. The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. We like to cook meals, even when we are on vacation. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to make what we wanted to eat. The living room was comfortable and spacious enough for my family to spread out and enjoy some down time in the evenings after long days of hiking in the national parks. We will definitely stay in this property again if we are back in the area.!
The property overall was ok - bedrooms and bathrooms were fine but the kitchen had some long term grease & grime build-up and has some serious issues that need to be addressed. We used the stove top a couple of times and the gas burners would continually burned out and emitted gas into the room when they were on a low setting.
The most serious issue was the dishwasher. On our second day there, we started to notice a terrible smell and thought maybe there was a dead mouse somewhere in the house. As it turned out, on our last evening, we opened the dishwasher and realized that there was standing water in the bottom, which was the source of the terrible odor. Worse than that though...the dishwasher was full of baby cockroaches, Crawling all over the dishes! As it was late at night, we went ahead and started the dishwasher, hoping to wash them all away. However, in the morning, the smell was gone but the cockroaches were still there.
After communicating with the owner and requesting a partial refund, we were simply offered a free nights stay upon our next visit. I'm afraid after this experience, I don't have a desire to stay there again.
The location was convenient for access to Zion National Park, St George and other area conveniences (Davis Grocery, Stage Coach Grill, River Rock Roasting Co..) and attractions (~Snow Canyon. etc). The house was spacious, comfortable and outfitted well with amenities. Check in & check out was easy. Would stay there again in the future.
