Pretty neighborhood. Away from the hustle of the city, but not too far. A little run down looking. Little black bugs crawling all over the counter. The carpet less floor was filthy & the jetted tub didnât work. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was warm & convenient. The massage next door was wonderful.
I was disappointed with the accuracy of this listing. This is not a one bedroom, one bath condo. This is one room with two beds, a stove and small refrigerator, and a bathroom. The âkitchenâ was one cupboard with some mismatched plastic dishes, a couple of pans and some mismatched plastic and glass glasses. I found the silverware stacked under the sink with two rusty baking pans. On the plus side the pool and the grounds were beautiful. It was very quiet and had great parking.
Our favorite place to stay for going to Tuacahn with the family and dogs. Close to everything. Quiet neighborhood. Love the pool. Thank you for sharing your place with us.
First, photos on listing are not of unit I reserved. Second, went to wipe up floor following a water spill minutes following our arrival and the paper towel was completely black. Third, the French door is NOT at all secure, locks do not work, blinds are ripped, both doors would open when front door was open or A/C turned on, you can push the door open with one finger with both locks turned to lock. The utensils and few pans shoved under the sink is disgusting. The walls are black around the smoke detector and on the smoke detector. This unit is NOT clean! The bed pillows do not fit the cases, have zero protective coverings and are stained. Only a few working lounge chairs at the pool is not satisfactory, especially for the price charged. Had there been other options we would have left immediately, due to the LPGA and graduation everything was booked. You cane highly recommended, unfortunately, my experience was less than unsatisfactory. Felt as if we were staying in the ghetto.
This property deserves more credit than it is getting (after reading reviews). What a great find - especially if you're traveling with dogs or with family. However, keep in mind the owner has several units, some are close to the "family" pool and some are close to the "adult" pool, so something for everyone. We traveled with 2 small dogs and were sooo pleased to be able to let them out on our own gated courtyard. And sooo pleased to have access to sidewalks and grass. We stayed in #18 but all units are basically the same. They're super roomy with plenty of space to lay things down and store suitcases. The bathroom is especially large with big double sinks and plenty of counter space (love this!). The unit was quiet - even with people at the pool - it was not bothersome. The family pool must be heated comfortably because it was uncommonly cold during out stay. Everything worked great from the thermostat to the television to the wifi to the gas fireplace - bonus! Our only negative is the kitchen area is quite tiny compared to everything else, but it's okay - it's a studio! We were just glad to have it - beats a hotel any day! Little things that could be improved: maybe a shelf for mugs and glasses because kitchen cabinet is quite high, and maybe some hooks for hot-pads and kitchen towels (we couldn't find any kitchen towels at all, but there were paper towels). That said, this will be our go-to from now when we stay in St George. It's vintage and adorable and we always prefer that to hoity-toity.
We loved our stay here. The gated courtyard and grassy areas were perfect for our dogs which was the whole reason I chose this place. We had a double King studio with kitchenette that was very spacious. Our teens loved the 2nd tv for their Xbox. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was wonderful. We did have a problem getting into the room when we first arrived because we didnât have a code but the owner response was quick.
We loved the room, grounds and pool. Our only complaint was that the dog garbages werenât emptied and the dog waste bags replaced in the 3 days we were there. Weâre planning on staying here again,
It was just what we were looking for. Thanks for allowing dogs. Just wish that there were a few more eating places within walking distance. Loved having the patio. Came for work and have to come back in a few weeks; would love to stay here again! Thanks!
We loved the place! We had a young puppy and the patio was closed in so he could be out there without us. Man named Renee was so kind and helpful! Everyone was friendly.
The good: The studio is in a nice location facing the pool, there is a cute outdoor patio.
Communication with property manager was fast and effective.
The bad: Studio was very dirty. Fridge, microwave, floors, outdoor patio has not been cleaned at all. Luckily, cleaning crew came to the rescue, but when you have already unloaded all your luggage and personal items it still leaves you a bitter taste, above all when you have payed premium price because of an Ironman event. The unit needs a thorough cleaning, I donât tell you the smell that came out of the dish washerâŠ:o(
In general the studio needs more Love. The kitchenette is badly stocked (like only one spoon and no forks, seriously?) and all the utensils were dirtyâŠ
Also, if you are planning on using your cell phone extensively for work calls, please bear in mind that the reception is very poor in the unit.
We stayed at this property because we were waiting for our home to be completed. It was quiet and the grounds were beautiful with roses blooming everywhere. When we had a problem it was taken care of by the owner quickly.
Loved our VRBO stay in St. George at this facility. The room was exactly what we needed. 3 large queen size beds, great bathroom centrally located. We will definitely come back!
