The beds, sheets, and towels were all very clean. The carpets, however, were so filthy I didn't feel I could walk around without socks and shoes. The kitchen was ill-equipped. The pots and pans were old and one frying pan's handle was practically falling off. We attempted to use the oven and only half of the heating elements were working, it looked as if the oven was original to the house. The chairs and bench seat in the dining area were so wobbly I didn't feel safe sitting on them. Lastly, they didn't even have basic cable. I've rented a lot of properties over the years and this is worst one yet.
We had a wonderful stay at Hydrangea Home. We were in Atlanta for medical treatment, and the host was very kind and gracious with the unknowns of our stay. This was also a comfortable place to recover, and everything was easily accessible (no stairs, walk-in shower). Our only wish was that the beds were a little higher. They were much lower to the ground than weâre used to, but it wasnât a dealbreaker. The location was great, and we especially loved the kitchen, the sunlight-flooded dining room, and all the blooming flowers outside! We were also surprised to find lots of extra items were supplied for our use in plentiful amounts, such as paper towels and dishwasher and laundry detergent. We will have to return for one additional surgery and would gladly stay here again if itâs available.
We enjoyed our holiday stay at this property. Very comfortable, clean, well appointed, and the location canât be beat. Close enough to historic Roswell with great restaurants and shops but private enough to have a deer stroll across the backyard. We highly recommend this lovely home to all.
