A property with no customer service and awful to stay at
The worst experience in our lives the property was unacceptable never maintain garbage everywhere inside and out this property should never be listed again
This was a great spot between Yellowstone and the Tetons. It is very small, so we were really just there to sleep and eat breakfast and dinner. It had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Itâs a little tilted, so the bathroom door was tough to shut all the way, but no big deal. The mosquitoes were terrible!! We appreciated the fly swagger and put it to good use!! Overall, we had a blast and were quite comfortable in the Little Fox Den!!
Nice cabin but there are mice ... and they are not cleaned up after
We stayed for 3 nights and liked the cabin a lot. It is cute and cozy. Problem was that there were mouse turds all over -- and especially in the drawers where kitchen utensils were stored. Ugh - gross. We were told this must have happened between cleaning and when we checked in. Not likely. There were way too many for that to be true. Need to have this place exterminated, or at least thoroughly clean just before guests check in.
Overall nice place a little to far off main road. Not sure if your in the right place due to a lot of trespassing signs. Need to cut the grass all around the fire pitt, did not use it and a lot of mosquito's to be outside. Bedroom outlet needs to be fixed for plug to stay in , not enough towels for the 6 of us. Need more cooking pans for bigger families.
A hunting cabin we did not quite anticipate. Pillow case main bed had some kind of stains that could be scratched off! Yuk! Noted shelves in cupboards in kitchen we dirty and sticky. Light bulb missing above the bathroom sink. We reported this to the company and left after the first of 2 nights. We are hoping for a refund for the second night as a result. Rustic is great but rustic should be clean and functional.

Poorly Managed Property, Decent RUSTIC Cabin
This was my family's first trip west, and it was to be a big one. This cabin appeared from the online listing to be what I was looking for, something in the middle of camping and a fully equipped cabin experience. With the June flooding of Yellowstone National Park and reported flooding in Island Park, ID, I reached out to the host to inquire about the state of the property and possibly rescheduling our trip to ensure we would be able to visit YNP. I never asked for a refund, just a possible reschedule and I was told they would consider my change in dates a cancellation and I would lose our full payment. End of discussion. Upon arrival we were quickly let down with the state of the cabin and the area. The exterior photos showed a cute little cabin in the woods with an excellent outdoor space and fire pit, with a description detailing all the time we would love spending outdoors. The front area was severely overgrown to the point that you could not see the fire pit. We had to cut grass away with scissors to even get to the seating area and see the stone around the pit. There was construction or demo debris from the lot next door all in the overgrown grass that had to be removed before my kids could play in the yard. Very misleading photos, or at the least, a property manager who hasn't seen the property in a while.
The inside of the cabin was dirty. There were gross, obvious marks and stains on the pullout couch that did not appear to ever have been cleaned or treated. The coffee maker had clearly been used recently and not cleaned. The only laundromat is a solid 15 minutes away from the cabin. The laundromat nearby is closed / vacant.
That being said - the beds were comfortable, the sheets appeared to be clean and the neighbors were very friendly.
Overall great cabin and location. Unfortunately the downfalls were things out of their control. The neighbors had construction going on with big trucks in and out. Donât mind driving on dirt roads, but the road in seems to have little to no maintenance with how bad the potholes are.
The cabin was as described in the listing and was a nice quiet getaway for our family of 4. Easy access to Yellowstone Park via West Yellowstone. There are a lot of ATV/offroad trails in the area which are great for exploring.
It worked for us as we were only there to sleep.
But, I have to say we were disappointed by the sheets which had sand and dirt like had not been changed from previous used night before...bathroom floor was not cleaned, I cleaned it again dirt and sand, your welcome. Like I said I was not expected the Hilton, but was expecting clean sheets and floors. was cute, but not likely to stay again.
Easy to book and check-in. A little far from Yellowstone; a little small for a family; ungraded road was unexpected. But, GREAT retreat, quiet, woods surrounded us. Excellent place to decompress!
Cozy cabin in the woods. I would highly recommend. Perfect location about 30 minutes away from Yellowstone west gate and far enough away from the hustle and bustle to have a great starscape at night.
Small cute cabin but needs cleaning. Coffee pot was dirty, upstairs was not vacuumed and I did see that prior guests on reviews have addressed the issue with kitchen sink water pooling down to wood floor and toilet needs to be fixed. Also needs a better lighting outside porch. Other than that cabin is cute and private, area and weather was great. Not to far from town or yellowstone.
This cute cabin in the woods was secluded but not isolated. We used it as a base to explore Yellowstone, and while it was a reasonable distance from the West Entrance, we drove out the South Entrance on our final day and saw a HUGE lineup of cars waiting to get in there.
Our five year old loved his bedroom in the roof, the movies and the games. All-round a wholesome family time.
Yes, there is a lean, meaning that the toilet lid does not stay up and the water pools on one side in the sink, but we did not find this a major problem. Beds were super comfy. Communication was great.
