Nous sommes situés sur une île privée avec de vastes vues imprenables sur le Middle Pond. Il y a 10 maisons sur l'île. Nous avons un canot et 2 kayaks sur la propriété. Ils sont gardés sous clé. Si utilisé, nous n'acceptons aucune responsabilité. Ils sont utilisés avec toute responsabilité sur les invités.
Notre propriété a un foyer à bois et également un foyer à gaz en verre sur le pont.
La maison a été fraîchement repeinte.
Nous avons un lit queen size, une taille normale dans une autre chambre et des lits superposés avec 2 matelas complets dans la troisième. linge de maison non inclus supplément de 100 $

Beautiful Views

The location of this property is just beautiful! The view from the front deck is wonderful! The home was clean and well stocked. We did bring out own linens and towels. You do have to cross a foot bridge from the parking area to the island and there are stone / block steps to get up to the house. He had a very nice stay and would definitely rent again. We did have to modify our stay and remove a night, which was not refunded to us.

Fall vacation

Home away from home! Great place on the lake. Property was fully stocked and owner very accommodating. Be prepared for stair walking with many decks. Renting a golf cart to get up to the house from the shared parking area is a must when you have luggage and groceries for a week’s stay. Well worth it for the views and fire pits on multiple decks. Would definitely stay here again!

Satisfied Family Stay

It was quiet and perfect for our family and well worth the short hike! If you have a disabilty please keep in mind it is not handicapp accessible. Also, note sheets are not included, but we were referred to a local store and the prices were resonable. We had an amazing stay and the property manager was responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Lovely lakeside retreat

This property was a perfect little lakeside spot for my friends and I to spend the weekend. The deck by the water is so relaxing and the house itself is comfortable and well equipped.

What. A. View.

We really enjoyed our stay; it was exactly what the doctor ordered. I loved that it was very close to a rails-to-trails path, which my son and I took advantage of. It was also very close to the Old Mill Pond Village Shops, which was a wonderful find for us. This was a hidden vacation area that we were unaware of, that was so close to home. Usually we'd have to travel great distances to get such a relaxing view, but for us, it was not very far. We loved it! And Barb is very communicative and was there for our every need.

Great weekend getaway

We had a great weekend. The lake was beautiful.We had a lot of fun kayaking and using the canoe. It was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had ecerything we needed and the house was a good size for the 6 of us.

Lovely warm hosts of a lakefront property

Barb and John are great hosts; very warm and responsive. The home has a stunning view of the lake. Depending on your style and needs be mindful there is no dishwasher, or laundry and you have to take your own sheets and towels. We did all that and had a good time. Lots of day trips in and around the area. Big Y for groceries was great.

Great house on the water

What a lovely home and lake. All the pictures are very accurate. The house was perfect, plenty of room, a well stocked kitchen and the beds were comfy. It's an amazing view from the top deck and the dock on the lake was perfect! It is a climb uphill to get to the house but well worth the effort and the feeling of being on an island is really cool!

It was nice and quiet stay. You do have a steep hill hil lto close climb so keep that in mind if you have older guests. Make sure to pack light!

A Lakeside Retreat

We had a lovely time at the lake! The house was very clean, and the hosts were so nice. It was a perfect place for our family. Our grandchildren didn’t want to leave.

Great little getaway

The house was nice and had a great view of the lake. We even saw some bald eagles! Weather wound up being too cold to go in the water, but we enjoyed hanging out in the cozy living room and looking out on the lake. The lack of linens is inconvenient, but we came prepared and it worked out fine. We didn't see the hosts but they gave us all the info we needed.

Great place for a college reunion. Very comfy setting! Relaxing!!

Great location. The only struggle is the hike up to the house. Leaves weren’t cleaned up and it was pouring when we arrived which made it a little treacherous. The walkway and staircase has broken bricks. Overall the home was very clean, comfortable and a great place for friends and family getaways.

Overall our stay was good. View of the lake was beautiful. The area is very quiet. It should be added how to find the house. You park and walk up a hill that's mentioned no where on the listing. Outside was unkept. We paid $150 for linens and didn't end up using the sheets because they smelled musty. They were however clean. The house is cute and cozy inside.

Girls weekend

We had a nice time at the lake house. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for four people to enjoy. I appreciated other reviews regarding the walk to the house and the steep steps down to the lake. Better suited for adults rather than families with small children. The outdoor area could use some updating with better seating. But overall, it was priced fairly for what we got.

WE LEFT IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSPECTING THE HOUSE AND HAD TO GO AND STAY AT A HOTEL FOR OUR 3 DAY STAY FOR A FAMILY FUNERAL. THE OWNER WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER WITH AND WOULD NOT EVEN REFUND THE $150.00 CLEANING FEE. I WILL BE SHARING OUR REPORT ON THR CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY AS WELL AS COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE OWNER WITH VRBO DIRECTLY.

Beautiful lakefront home

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The location is truly stunning, a very quiet area on a beautiful lake. The house is huge, with a large kitchen and living room, and huge deck and fire pit facing the lake. There is a short walk (~100 ft) up a hill from the parking area to the house via a paved walkway - we had no issues at all navigating it, though we are an able-bodied group. John and Barb were also very kind and responsive. Overall we had a great time and would love to return next summer!

Lakefront house worked for everyone.

The house was comfortable and well equipped. The owners were very responsive. The dock and lake were perfect. Repairs are needed but when we mentioned the sliding screen door they ordered a new one. I packed sheets and towels but hadn’t noticed the lack of washer and dryer. The owner accommodated us. Our dog and grandchildren had a great time.

We are a couple who met in college and have been married for 40 years. We love coming to the house and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful environment. We are planning to both be retired soon.

When we saw this unique private island, we were mesmerized by the expansive views, we knew we found a peaceful home. It is great for boating and fishing or just relaxing.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love the private features of island living, compared to the congestion of being on a main road. The views are unbelievable....You can kayak or enjoy the canoe. We have a private dock and you can bring your boat or jet ski. It feels like you are in a cabin in the woods, but with lake views. Best of ALL worlds!
