Faisant partie de la série de designers oSliding Rock Cabins, Fauna Lodge est une magnifique décoration, ONE STORY, 2 chambres (1 lit king) 1 cabine de bain, avec mobilier en cuir. Il y a un grand pavillon pour le spa (couvert pour protéger votre vin de la pluie!) et foyer. Il y a une cour clôturée pour votre chiot, un bain à remous, une cheminée à bois, WIFI. Fauna Lodge est parfait pour une escapade romantique. Chien amical sans frais pour animaux de compagnie, pas de chats s'il vous plaît.

Cabin was just as described. Very clean with excellent kitchen amenities. Fenced area for the dog as well as the wrap around gated deck was also great for our pup.

Lovely, cozy, and beautiful view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was so clean and adorable. It was cozy and comfy and had a beautiful view. We also LOVED the yard space for our dogs to use. My only suggestion would be to connect the gate from the porch to the gate for the dog yard so they do not have to be transferred during the cold weather. The washer and dryer were very convenient, the appliances were all modern and worked well. The fireplace was gorgeous. It was just such an overall great weekend.

A relaxing weekend getaway.

My partner and I came up for his birthday weekend. The cabin was cozy and very clean. The hot tub was amazing as well as a fireplace. The only issues I had were the cleanliness of the wine glasses which which we're extremely dirty. We elected to just drink out of paper cups the entirety of the trip. The bedroom TV screen was also cracked so we were not able to view anything on that TV but it was not a big deal. All in all the trip was very fun and enjoyable and the space was comfortable and for the most part clean.

Just what we needed

Peaceful

Beautiful cabin. Just enough for two. Nice amenities. Very quiet. Centralized between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The only “negative “, and not really a negative, was the road to get to the cabin. We have a small sedan and there were several pot holes in the gravel road going up. However we’ve stayed in numerous cabins in North Carolina where the roads were pretty sketchy for us flat landers. So really just an annoyance. We would book this cabin again.

Perfect little getaway

We had the most amazing week spent with our sweet pups at this adorable cabin! The host was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly! We were so excited to be able to travel with our dogs for a very much needed relaxing vacation in the beautiful Ellijay mountains! They even provided all the little details for our fur babies to be comfortable! They loved playing in the fenced in area and the dog biscuits were a sweet addition! We loved the covered hot tub area with a fire pit where we sat and watched so many deer walk through the woods! We will definitely be coming back!

Great Relaxing Stay

This property was awesome! We brought our pups and the cabin was perfect for the pups! A quiet area that was tucked away with many areas to hang out. It was hard to choose where to relax. Perfect for me, my husband, our two dogs, my mom and her dog.

Fauna Lodge Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and our two children (plus our Aussiedoodle) spent a long weekend at the Fauna Lodge. It was great! It was such a cute cabin! It had a beautiful view and a lovely wrap around porch. The hot tub and fire pit area was gorgeous! I was very grateful for the fenced in area for our dog to go potty. They supplied a a dog bowl and bed and even some treats! We received texts checking on us from the rental company, who were very responsive and kind. Everything was immaculately clean. The directions provided were accurate and helpful.The road up the mountain is quite narrow and winding and you have to pull to the side at times to let another car pass. The area was very peaceful and close to nearby restaurants . We saw several deer (probably 20) on our way back from dinner the last night! It was a wonderful sight! The only thing I wish I had brought was aluminum foil or Ziploc bags/Tupperware for a picnic we took. Those would have also been nice for leftovers in the fridge; I had to get creative since we didn't bring any of those items. All other cooking utensils, pots, appliances, etc were there. Also, The beds were so comfortable! It was a lovely weekend. I would love to come back and use Sliding Rock Cabins again!!!!

Excellent Cabin

Fauna Lodge is located in nice semi secluded area outside of Ellijay, GA. The cabin met all our expectations and allowed for us to have a great week away from the big city.

Beautiful and secluded!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at this cabin. Its secluded and at the top of the mountain, so please be careful driving up. There are pull offs but its still a little tight and everyone is very polite driving. The location was perfect.We saw deer every day, including when we first got there! They came very close to the porch and was a family of 5. We loved sitting outside with them.We brought out dogs who loved the fenced in area. It is close to the road (which is 100% safe) so if your dogs may be a little reactive there could be a few dogs walking by. My dogs get a little excited with dog friends ha. They also loved laying on the porch - having the gate at the end was so appreciated and the dog treats and bed.A couple things: When we got there the driveway was completely covered in leaves. And while its fall, they did not just land and had been there for a long time so it would have been nice if they were cleaned off as you couldn't even see the driveway to know where to back in. My husband cleaned it with the rake that was left. We loved the hot tub however the lights did not work on the cabana and I called in for them to be fixed and no one came. That was a bummer because at night it was pitch black down there except for the lights in the tub.I would also bring extra towels - we only had three and needed more for the hot tub.We would stay with Sliding Rock Cabins again!
