La chanson du sud est une oasis adorable sur le ruisseau Turkey (pas un ruisseau de pêche). Avec la fin de la route, la confidentialité et une zone de foyer juste à côté de l'eau. Song of the South est une cabane de roche coulissante qui offre un porche, une terrasse et une terrasse avec un grand bain à remous, un gril à gaz, un foyer au bord de la rivière et une cour clôturée à l’extérieur du porche. Vous voudrez peut-être vous détendre toute la journée dans le hamac, vous rôtir dans le feu de cheminée de Creekside, peut-être faire une randonnée pédestre sur les sentiers montagneux d'Ellijay et de Blue Ridge, puis dans la soirée vous détendre dans le grand bain à remous ou regarder un vieux film sur votre grand écran SmartTV, peut-être dormir tard sur le lit King Size dans le loft.
L'étage principal a un lit queen-size, une baignoire avec douche et baignoire. À l'étage, le loft ouvert comprend un lit king-size et un balcon Juliette. La cuisine offre des plans de travail à surface solide et de nouveaux appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable. Les meubles de salon sont en cuir et donc pas de chats s'il vous plaît.

Birthday getaway

My wife 2 dogs and myself had a great time at the cabin in the mountains. The creek in the back was awesome to sit by while enjoying a fire. I will definitely return in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was a great stay! The location and the access to all of the activities we wanted to do was great. I thought the spiderwebs on the screened in porch could have been less, but it wasn't something that deterred us from having a bad stay. We loved it and this was our favorite so far!

Fantastic Stay and our dogs would agree

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent three great days relaxing, exploring and traversing the stream that is literally at the foot of the cabin. Our dogs have great recall so they were able to explore the water and edge of the woods all day long. The house is located on a very private spot, very quiet and peaceful.

Our two Labrador retrievers, Sunshine and Sally, really enjoyed the clear cold mountain creek in the backyard. Easy to find, good roads with very little traffic, excellent location. Tried fishing with no luck, but didn’t expect much, even though it could support trout. Made visits to numerous vineyards and Reese’s Cider House, all within short driving distance.

March 2023 Stay

Another successful vacation @SRC. 5th time and won't be our last. This lil cabin just was so peaceful and such a blessing for myself and my two dogs, Samson and Waylon. The creek was so peaceful and the cabin well appointed. The dogs were comfy too loving their "new" toys to discover, comfy bed and squirrels to chase. We loved it here and will be back.

It was a very tranquil setting,probably one of the most peaceful vacations I have only complaint if I were to complain would suggest a good pressure washing on the deck,porch, and outdoor furniture.I will definitely be back.

Cabin of Convenience

Description of the cabin is accurate but the pictures are deceiving. All of the outdoor spaces and outdoor furniture need TLC. Photographer must have used a spotlight to take the inside pics because the cabin is incredibly dark. I had to use a flashlight to see inside my suitcase. Convenient to stores and restaurants Comfortable beds Clean hot tub Decent rental overall, but would not book this one again.

Cabin had issues not visible on the app. Lighting through out cabin was a big issue, no lighting outside on creek area. No instructions on using grill, step down onto back porch was longer/higher than normal.

Reviewer Comments: My husband and I and our 2 aussiedoodles really enjoyed our stay at Song of the South.. the dogs loved playing in the creek and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch.. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable.. we were a little disappointed on our first night.. we were planning to grill hamburgers on the gas grill but the starter button was missing and we didn’t have a way to light the grill.. other than that, we had an amazing time.

Peaceful Little Paradise!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staying at Song of the South was a wonderful experience! We loved where it is situated at the end of the road, private, and peaceful. The best part was having the swift-flowing stream right out the back deck. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The beds are comfortable, the cabin was clean, and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We are especially appreciative to Sliding Rock Cabins for assisting us quickly with a water pressure issue. Excellent communication and customer service!This cabin is located within relatively short distances to grocery, state parks, and other attractions such as vineyards/wineries.Another wonderful perk for us was the Pet Friendly feel at the cabin! Lots of little touches that showed our Beagle was definitely welcomed!Thank you, Song of the South, and Sliding Rock Cabins for providing us a perfect place to vacation!
