La chanson du sud est une oasis adorable sur le ruisseau Turkey (pas un ruisseau de pêche). Avec la fin de la route, la confidentialité et une zone de foyer juste à côté de l'eau. Song of the South est une cabane de roche coulissante qui offre un porche, une terrasse et une terrasse avec un grand bain à remous, un gril à gaz, un foyer au bord de la rivière et une cour clôturée à l’extérieur du porche. Vous voudrez peut-être vous détendre toute la journée dans le hamac, vous rôtir dans le feu de cheminée de Creekside, peut-être faire une randonnée pédestre sur les sentiers montagneux d'Ellijay et de Blue Ridge, puis dans la soirée vous détendre dans le grand bain à remous ou regarder un vieux film sur votre grand écran SmartTV, peut-être dormir tard sur le lit King Size dans le loft.
L'étage principal a un lit queen-size, une baignoire avec douche et baignoire. À l'étage, le loft ouvert comprend un lit king-size et un balcon Juliette. La cuisine offre des plans de travail à surface solide et de nouveaux appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable. Les meubles de salon sont en cuir et donc pas de chats s'il vous plaît.

Amazing Stay

Birthday getaway

My wife 2 dogs and myself had a great time at the cabin in the mountains. The creek in the back was awesome to sit by while enjoying a fire. I will definitely return in the future.

Cabin of Convenience

Description of the cabin is accurate but the pictures are deceiving. All of the outdoor spaces and outdoor furniture need TLC. Photographer must have used a spotlight to take the inside pics because the cabin is incredibly dark. I had to use a flashlight to see inside my suitcase. Convenient to stores and restaurants Comfortable beds Clean hot tub Decent rental overall, but would not book this one again.

I loved that the creek was so close that you can hear it to put you to sleep at night. Very private. The roads were easy to access. I would have liked brighter light bulbs in the cabin because it was hard to see inside. Make sure you go to the lockbox on the front door porch not on the side of the house! We enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thanks you!

Kind of hard to find but that's what you want in a secluded cabin in the woods. Fortunately the directions provided were excellent.The only improvement I could make would be to screen in the hot-tub. We didn't have time to use it, but if it was screened it might have tempted us more.Great for a couple, or two couples that are very close.

Songs of the South is really easy to find and can get there with any type of vehicle. We will be back in the fall.

Cozy cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleased with our stay at Song of the South. There were a few things that could have made it better. The lighting in the kitchen was still not good. We struggled trying to prepare meals. It would help if you could remove the TV cabin and put something smaller there or hang it on the wall. It would have been nice to have the screen porch clean from spider webs and leaves. Same for all around the outside of the house. I had to take the broom and sweep as much as I could. I would have brought my leaf blower if I had known. I understand you are in a low terrine that doesn't help. Otherwise we enjoyed the firepit area and hot tub.

Reviewer Comments: My husband and I and our 2 aussiedoodles really enjoyed our stay at Song of the South.. the dogs loved playing in the creek and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch.. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable.. we were a little disappointed on our first night.. we were planning to grill hamburgers on the gas grill but the starter button was missing and we didn’t have a way to light the grill.. other than that, we had an amazing time.

A slice of heaven

Everything was as described and the creek in the back is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Sliding Rock is truly dog friendly as we were able to bring our four dogs who loved the fenced yard and screened in patio. The stairs even had backing to the steps preventing our smaller dogs from falling had they slipped between steps. We all had the most restful nights sleep with the sound of the creek flowing in the background. We definitely plan on returning to Ellijay in the near future and Sliding Rock will be our first choice for cabin rentals.

Relaxing weekend

Listening to the creek from the screened porch and drinking coffee was a great way to start the day. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the cabin and were able to find everything we needed to prepare it. The property was clean and comfortable. If we return to this area we will come back to this cabin.
