A lovely quiet location. Everything was as advertised and so well stocked for anything we needed. We enjoyed every minute as beaches, shops and entertainment were all close by. Would recommend La Casita.
The cottage at Stanley Bridge is amazing. It is centrally located to everything on the North Shore but is off the beaten path enough to be private. We had great communication from the owner all week and the cottage was just as promised. We mostly used the cottage as a "home base" to see the Island so we did not use the extensive grounds, fire pit and BBQ much but the cottage has everything that one would need. The front porch is a wonderful spot for a morning coffee. We can't wait to return another time.
beautiful, quiet, private location. great spot for families that want to be close to the attractions around Cavendish, yet desire a quiet get-away to relax at the end of the day.
La Casita Cottage on the classic red road was easily the best home away from home we've ever stayed in! Not only was it impeccably clean, but it was warm, comfortable, and quiet. Our hosts were also welcoming and so very helpful. The location was perfect to all of our favorite beaches and of course to Cavendish and L.M. Montgomery's old haunts. When returning to PEI, we will be certain to stay in the cottage again!
Clean and welcoming! I mistakenly thought weâd have a water view but only a short walk to the shore. Randy was very responsive, the cottage was great to come home to after a busy Island day. I absolutely love Seawood Estates. I have been coming to the Island since 1997 and have stayed many times in the development.
I would not hesitate to recommend LaCasita!
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was spacious and clean. We were a bit disappointed as the photos of this property lead us to believe that, although not water front, we would have a water view. We were totally secluded. This has positive aspects also, as it was very quiet, and we saw wildlife, daily. The location was close to the water. Beaches and lots of other amenities were close, as well. The weather was very warm during our stay, and the cottage had no form of air conditioning. It was very hot during the evenings, in the cottage. We didnt cook inside, due to the heat. Either portable cooling or a heat pump, we felt, is necessary. No screen on the side patio door limited cross ventilation, to aid in cooling the main living area. It did cool down some at night, for sleeping.Next, we wanted to mention that we were 3 adults staying here, and ran out of hot water several times, for showers. We had to shower at different times of the day, to avoid this. Some modernization of the television system would be nice, to allow for streaming of existing subscriptions. We could not stream any movies for our visiting grandchild, during the rainy evenings. Some modernization of kitchen cutlery, adding cutting boards, matching mugs and wine glasses etc., would also be pleasing. The washer and dryer on the premises were lovelyThe size of the cottage was also lovely. We would stay again during the shoulder seasons, and during the peak summer season, if A/C was available.
We had a great week at casita. Location couldn't be better: very private but close to Cavendish, Stanley bridge and other beaches. The cottage has everything you need (even beach toys) and we could feel the owner's love for the place. Large yard, great for kids to run around. Mattresses are a little old but we would definitely stay here again.
Great cottage with a nice central location. We cooked many of our own meals and found the kitchen to be well stocked with utensils, e.t.c. though there weren't any roasting sticks for the fire (or i couldn't find them at least).
