Vistas del Lago is by far the most beautiful place I have ever seen. This property has banana trees, mango trees, avocado trees, orange trees, and many other fruit trees. Everyone shares the bounty of the Earth as it comes into season. We brought loads of our bananas to the clubhouse, and others brought mangoes, tomatoes, etc. There is a giant herb garden right outside the kitchen. Weekly renters are welcomed like family, and there are owners from France, Canada, Poland, etc. Bev, the owner and manager of Vistas, is one of the kindest and most welcoming people I have ever met. She lives there full-time, and her husband Brad made a trail through the rain forest that leads to a Jack-and-the-Beanstalk tree. People enjoy walking on this trail with their children or grandchildren and viewing monkeys and toucans. This is all behind the private gates of Vistas del Lago, so I always felt safe and protected, which is so important when visiting a foreign country.
