Norcross Cottage, calme chalet au bord du lac dans le Maine pays orignal

Ce gîte de charme historique est attaché à notre maison et notre année maison d'hôtes. Il se trouve dans une crique tranquille avec accès aux 5 grands lacs autour de lui. Il est à 5 miles de la ville de Millinocket et est facile d'accès. Il est un endroit merveilleux pour les activités nautiques ou tout simplement se détendre par l'eau. Il est aussi un excellent point de départ pour la région Katahdin y compris Baxter State Park. Nous avons un bateau à aubes, deux canots, kayaks et deux disponibles. Observer les oiseaux, feuilles peep, montre l'orignal, rafting, randonnée, kayak, nager, pêcher, x-country ski, raquettes, VTT, motoneige ou tout simplement se détendre et profiter de la vue. Nous sommes à proximité d'un réseau de sentiers. Il suffit de laisser la maison et a frappé les sentiers.

Race weekend perfection !

This is the 2nd time we stayed with Donny and Faye and we love them and their place! So nice and hospitable, clean and cozy, plenty of room and amenities. Timely cleaning of snow and walkway and the house was nice and warm and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again !

Excellent stay - feels like visiting family (in the best way possible!)

Donny and Faye were lovely - their property was very comfortable, and they clearly go above and beyond to make it a good experience. We loved staying on the water, and they even took us out on their boat for a tour of the surrounding lakes. We really enjoyed our time there (especially our kids), and we would definitely go back!

Cozy Cottage On The Lake

This property was perfect for our visit to Maine. It’s close to the town of Millinocket and Baxter State Park. It’s right on the lake with access to canoes and kayaks. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. It was clean and comfortable.

Great Getaway

We traveled north to explore Baxter State Park. Norcross Cottage has shoreline property which was perfect for an early morning paddle and relaxing evening viewing with a glass of wine while being serenaded by loon calls. It was a great place to wrap up the day after strenuous hiking.

Beautiful stay in Maine

We absolutely loved our stay at the Norcross cottage - it was such a charming, clean, and spacious place, surrounded by so much beautiful nature. interesting cottage built in 1905; hosts are very welcoming; lake is really pretty, but the mosquitos were epic when we were there; bed linens could use updating; we really enjoyed our stay

Quaint farmhouse right on a lake near Mt. Katahdin

We've stayed in a few lakeside cottages, but this one was different: a Victorian farmhouse full of antiques! Very comfortable, right on a lake, and about as close as you can get to Mt. Katahdin and the rest of Baxter State Park. The hosts Don and Faye are above and beyond.

Beautiful Lake

This property is on a stunningly beautiful lake. Check-in was easy and we appreciated learning about the history of the house. The kitchen was well stocked and comfortable. We spent time kayaking the lake. This was a quiet and comfortable location.

Norcross Cottage

a long overdue visit

We had a great trip to northern Maine and Norcross Cottage! Faye and Don were great hosts! We are familiar with the area but, we were long overdue for a visit. Don and Faye had great suggestions for us. We enjoyed the use of their kayaks and boat rides! And they were available when we needed them. We had a great stay! We would definitely stay again.

Lakeside Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stat at this quaint lakeside cottage, tastefully decorated with antiques. It was great to have access to the owners if needed but it had everything we needed so there was no need to bother them. The lakeview was wonderful even though it was a little chilly to spend time outside. We would definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Great place to get away!

What a wonderful way to spend a weekend! Don and Faye were warm, welcoming and responsive. They provided helpful information that aided us in successfully exploring the area, when we weren't fishing right off the dock and boating on the lovely, peaceful cove. The cottage is spacious and well-stocked, and we loved the AC! We would love to return, hopefully for a longer stay in the future!

Wonderful!

This is a lovely place with a quaint and antique feel, but with modern touches where it matters most (kitchen, bathrooms, heating/cooling, etc.). The hosts Donnie and Faye live on site and go above and beyond to help you feel at home, and are more than happy to share their knowledge of the area, or will let you be if that's what you prefer. My family got way more than we expected here and would not hesitate to go back.
