The view is very nice, the quality of the bedding is good, enough towels provided, fans + air conditioning (although we did not use them) and the welcome package on arrival is really nice (bottle of water + wine + food in the fridge).
The location is very convenient to go to the beach, take the bus and food shopping.
I recommand the place !

Great accommodation and excellent hosts.
Our holiday was made easy from start to finish, reservation was simple, communication was very good and our hosts Neville and Ruth organised airport transfers for us. We were met at the apartment on arrival and everything was explained to us. Stress free throughout.
The apartment itself was very clean and tidy, had 2 very good sized bedrooms, a combined kitchen lounge area which was more than adequate for us as we ate out at several of the restaurants within easy walking distance. The shower room is small but again has everything you need.
A small balcony at the front is ideal for the early morning sun whilst the main balcony gets the sun from mid morning to sunset, good space for dining outside or sun bathing. Another small covered balcony off the lounge area with washing machine and washing lines was a nice touch.k
Location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and the central square, and many supermarkets, bars, cafes & restaurants all within easy walking distance.
Bugibba is also ideal centre for travelling around Malta by inexpensive buses.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment, in Bugibba and Malta.
Hopefully we will be able to return in the future.

Good location, good apartment, good owners.
Good self-catering apartment (with lift); lovely view over the bay. Located close to Bugibba centre and with easy access to Qawra and St Pauls Bay. So, local attractions and good eateries are all within easy walking distance. All the basics for your stay are provided and the owners are ready to help if needed (including, for example, arranging car transfer). The apartment was as described and in good order. That all makes for an easy and enjoyable stay!

Getawaysmalta Holiday Apartments
The apartment was clean but basic. A nice view from the balcony over looking the harbour. Unfortunately and totally out of the hands of the owner, it was like being in the middle of a building site. Building work was being undertaken all around and they start really early.

We at GetawaysMalta holiday Accomodation, give a lot of attention to cleanliness and to keep apartments looking fresh. We also choose to own and rent out only properties that lie in the best locations.
I am not sure what you mean by basic. When I hear "basic" I imagine a room with just a bed just like in a cheap hotel. Maybe you meant that the furniture is simple and easy to clean. If so I agree as we design our apartments in a way that they are easy to service and clean to make sure we give the best service, always.
I would like to clear that all the apartments owned by us GetawaysMalta Holiday Accommodation (Owners Neville and Ruth Galea) including this penthouse cannot be better equipped in our opinion as we to great detail and the inventory is huge. Lets take just the kitchen for example. Drinking glasses, you have tumblers, wine glasses, ice cream glasses, mugs, espresso cups, and tea cups. Pots and pans there are 9 pieces with lids. Plates there is a set for 6 persons with 3 plate types each plus cereal bowls. Orange juicer, Strainer, Coffee percolator, kettle, toaster and all the cutlery you can imagine including those for the Gas BBQ in the terrace. Apart from the 4 hobs and oven there is also a microwave and a big fridge. The apartment has got WiFi in all rooms and IPTV with hundreds of channels in many different languages.
This particular penthouse apartment has 3 AC units too (one each room) plus fans and insect screens in all terrace/balcony doors. The terrace is equipped with outdoor furniture , Gas BBQ and Sunbeds with sun bed mattresses.
In case a guest needs us we are reachable by email, SMS, phones, Whats App and Facebook. We can act on a guests demand within minutes as we have our own cleaners, representatives with cars, maintenance men with vans, work shop and stores full of spares, office open 7 days a week and a 24/7 emergency phone numbers.
Re: Building site. In Malta there is a lot of construction going on as the economy is booming.
My workers (cleaners, maintenance and representatives) did not notice any building works in a radius of at least 100m. The other tenants in the other 13 apartments also did not report any annoyance. We the owners also do not know of any construction going on at the moment close enough to effect our guests.
Thus unless a person is not very sensitive to noise during his sleep there should not be any disturbance.
Good though fairly basic apartment. Enjoyed our stay there.
The apartment was clean and tidily decorated. Two decent sized bedrooms each with a balcony towards the back though not a great view from them due to neighbouring building work currently. A good view from the front balcony over the bay with entertainment from the local biker cafe. Small bathroom with decent shower. Kitchen area doubled as lounge with TV and sofa, just a bit basic if there were four people and you planned spending time indoors.
A generally quiet area with a few good restaurants. Some interesting walks including The Heritage Trail. A good bus service gives easy access to most of the island.
Very happy with our hosts Neville and Ruth, arranged taxi to and from airport, kept us well informed throughout.
Overall enjoyed our stay good value for money would certainly recommend.

Nur 4 Sterne wegen aktuellen Baustellen in unmittelbarer Nähe, die um 6.30 Uhr anfingen Lärm zu machen und wegen dem unbequemen Schlafsofa.
Das Apartment ist mit seiner Terrasse und dem Blick über das Meer unschlagbar, Herr Galea wenn auch nicht persönlich aber immer über WhatsApp erreichbar und mit vielen Helferlein, die sofort zur Stelle sind wenn etwas benötigt wird (z.B. wenn mal der Abfluss verstopf ist..).
Auf der Terrasse ist rund um die Uhr Sonne und Mittags sogar etwas Schatten und wir konnten jeden abend einen super Sonnenuntergang beobachten.
2 große Supermärkte (Piscopos und Trolees) sind in Laufweite aber für das schwere Wasser bieten sich die kleinen Lädchen in der Nähe an.
Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Fischladen Connis Fish Shop auf der Triq il Mosta, fangfrisch viel Auswahl, auch Tiefgekühlte Ware. Montags geschlossen, dafür Sonntags bis 14.30 Uhr geöffnet.
Die Busverbindungen auf Malta sind sehr zahlreich, so dass wir unsere Ziele mit mehreren Möglichkeiten erreichen konnten größtenteils auch ohne Umsteigen und ganz viele der Bushaltestellen sind in fußläufiger Nähe des Appartments.

The description is perfect because the apartment has an excellent location because it is located close to all shops, restaurants, bus stops, etc. Malta's economy is booming and for this reason there are several new buildings being developed all over the island. L'emplacement des appartements de vacances Seashells Self Catering Bugibba est idyllique. Le bloc est dans une rue calme (que-de-sac). Des épiceries, des pharmacies, des arrêts de bus, des restaurants et des bars se trouvent tous à quelques mètres ou à quelques minutes à pied.
À proximité, vous trouverez également l’aquarium national de Malte, de nombreux Lidos, clubs de plage, jetée de Bugibba (où vous pourrez faire des croisières d’une journée au Blue Lagoon et à Comino), de bons plats à emporter, de plein air, etc.
Bugibba est une grande destination touristique, avec de nombreuses belles plages rocheuses et une plage de sable perchée, et elle est proche de toutes les grandes plages de sable fin.
