Escapade chalet magnifique avec sensation de cabine

This review is unfortunate and is a result of poor planning by the renter who expected a refund on the day she arrived because she claimed she did not have service yet communicated with me via the VRBO app the entire time. As you can see in our many 5 star review history, this review does not align with others. It is correct there is no WIFI at the chalet, which we have stated in the description and amenities listed under the VRBO site so that renters are aware. Unfortunately this renter did not pay attention and when she arrived, she messaged with questions in which I promptly responded. I explained that many renters leverage hot spots or their personal devices for service, and there are places on the resort property with WIFI if absolutely needed. My family personally uses Verizon and we have had guests at the chalet with AT&T and Sprint carries and know there is cell service so by no means is the property off the grid or inaccessible. I have worked remotely from the chalet many times using unlimited data from my cell service or a hot spot which provides internet access. In addition, we leverage that same service to watch movies or Hulu Live with our cell service data or hot spot, and have never had an issue. We have children and know how important it is for families to stay plugged in as needed. Unfortunately, there is no refund on a same day cancelation, especially on a weekend rental, as I am sure everyone would understand that would not lead to good practices and would be very difficult for owners to then open up their properties. When this renter checked out, she messaged me and said "...if you could do something it would be appreciated but it's not expected" to which I politely responded with options for service if needed, and that I was sorry she chose not to stay. It's unfortunate to see an owner like us penalized with an unfair 2 star review. Thank you to those considering our chalet and the Innsbrook Resort, it is a wonderful place that we love to share.

Thanks for the stay and review. We have the chalet professionally sprayed monthly by General Spray and haven’t had an issue with horseflies in the past, but we let them know about your experience so they can do some extra work around the chalet.
