Vous allez adorer ce cadre privé - chalet sur 5 acres de sauvegarde vers les parcs de Denver Mountain avec des pistes cyclables; une minute d'accès à l'I-70; 40 minutes de St. Mary's Glacier, à un peu plus d'une heure de Breckenridge ou Vail, à moins de 30 minutes du centre-ville de Denver; à moins de 15 minutes du lac Evergreen avec planche à pagaie, canoë, incroyable patinage sur glace en hiver, etc.! Accès facile à tant de grandes aventures du Colorado - à 15 minutes du rafting, de la tyrolienne, des sources historiques d'Idaho et bien plus encore !!!

Mignon et d'une propreté impeccable; vous avez beaucoup d'espace pour vous détendre tout en étant à distance de marche de Starbucks, Walmart et Qdoba. La maison joliment aménagée comprend une grande grande salle avec foyer au bois et table à manger pour 10 personnes; 4 chambres avec tous les nouveaux draps / matelas et deux salles de bain complètes; les trois chambres à l'étage principal se composent de: (1er) 1 chambre avec lit king, (2e) 1 chambre avec lit queen, (3e) 2 chambre avec lits jumeaux. L'étage inférieur dispose d'un coin salon supplémentaire et d'une (4ème) chambre avec lits superposés avec 3 lits jumeaux.

La propriété se compose d'une magnifique forêt à flanc de montagne et comprend quatre patios extérieurs pour profiter de l'air frais et vif de la montagne. Vous apprécierez cet endroit paisible pour baser votre expérience du Colorado! N'hésitez pas à nous contacter pour toute question!!

This worked out so well for us! Our kids were attending camp at Evergreen Country Day School, so we were able to walk to camp each day. Convenient being close to a Walmart when we needed anything. We hope to be back again next year!

Terrific!

Great spacious and comfortable home for our family of 6. Very easy access to I70 for our various day trips. The owners were easy to wrk with and replied quickly to any questions we had! We spent a lot of time sitting on the patio enjoying the gorgeous mountain views.

Perfect for Mines families

My family stayed during Mines graduation. The house was an easy drive to and from events with easy access to both Golden and Evergreen. It was cozy and clean with huge windows facing the valley. We loved the front room with the fireplace to visit together while enjoying the views.

Great location, space and host

Felt remote even though you’re near a Starbucks and Walmart. Great views and enough space for us all to spread out. Great communication from the host and home was stocked well with appliances and blankets. We had a wonderful time!

Hill Side Home Base

The house has a lot of character. It is perched on a hillside with no close neighbors, except a few deer that bed down on the hillside behind the house. The house is old, with creaky floors and hard mattresses, but we didn't mind. The location was perfect, with convenient shopping just down the hill and a short drive to Red Rocks and Rocky Mountain National Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy access to highways, restaurants and shopping

A very convenient location. It’s tucked into a developed area and you have great access to everything. You don’t feel like you are in a busy area. The hiking and the expansive property were great.

Girls weekend in Colorado

So happy we landed in this sweet VRBO picking blindly from a computer in NC! The fresh flowers, the sheets, the towels, the outdoor seating, the fabulous hiking trail, and the views. If you’re looking for a “Home Away from Home” this is your place!

Country setting while close to everything

What a lovely country setting on 5 acres!! The patio is perfect for relaxing & watching the humming birds & Elk. Lots of peace & quiet while also being close to shopping & restaurants. The Host was gracious & sweet. She was super easy to get a hold of. We had a wonderful stay.

Weekend Family Wedding

We stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful home. Everything was perfect. Susan showed us around when we first got there to make sure we knew were everything was. It was a quite cottage and loved the outdoor mountain life it had around it. It was a very relaxing stay. Beds were very comfortable. Loved how she had fresh wild flowers in all the rooms. They were beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Great location to access Evergreen, Golden and surrounding sites. Host was very accommodating and easy to contact. House was well equipped and comfortable. Woke up to deer strolling through the hills behind the house. Even though close to stores the property felt private and can view the mountains in the distance.

Family Wedding Weekend

Perfect place for a three generation stay to celebrate a family wedding in Evergreen. Very convenient to interstate for arrival/departure. Necessity shopping, local restaurants and Starbucks within 5 minutes or less (walking if you want the exercise). Views, scenic drives, parks and venues within 30 minutes. Hostess/owner (Susan) made personal contact along the way and was immediately available for questions should a questions arise. Certainly another happy and successful VBRO adventure for us. Highly recommend this property for your Evergreen area visits.

What a great spring break get away.

Where to start?! What an amazing trip we had! The location of this house couldn’t be anymore perfect! 20-30 minutes away from everything! (Casinos, downtown Denver, echo mountain..etc) Susan was so helpful through our entire stay! She checked in on us here and there. Would definitely book again. Thank you again, ms. Susan! Our family really enjoyed this piece of Colorado!

5 star owners!

The property was as listed. GPS had a little trouble getting us to the building, but it wasn't too bad. It's near some shopping and, most importantly for some, a Starbucks. We didn't spend much time in the home as we were hiking a lot, so I can speak much to items like how well the kitchen was stocked. The highlight of the property was certainly the owners. Communication was prompt, friendly, helpful, and just made the stay simple and easy. Strongly recommend!

College Visit

We were in town to visit The Colorado School of Mines. The house was convenient to the college and many other activities (Mount Evans, Idaho Springs, Denver). Susan was a great host & the house had so many amenities and small touches that exceeded our expectations. The flowers throughout the house was a nice touch. The kitchen had all of the utensils/pans/pots that we needed. The bathroom towels were fluffy and soft. Even though the house is surrounded by residential/commercial development, it is still quiet. We saw bunnies and chipmunks in the mornings. There are 3 additional beds in the basement. We did not use them & my kids said they would not stay down there. It's not completely finished and they felt too removed from the rest of the house. Something to consider if you are renting the house and need the additional beds. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Wedding in Golden

The great room is the most wonderful feature of this property allowing people to sit and relax comfortably in well positioned and comfortable furniture. This room has large picture windows and a large fireplace plus a large dining table which can accommodate 10 or more. You could actually sleep 9 people in the property. There are 5 twin beds- 3 of which are in the lowest level so this would be a great space for older children to have their own spot. There might also be a sleep sofa - we didn’t need all of what was available so did not explore that option. Not shown in the photos is the property’s proximity to Walmart, Home Depot and Starbuck’s. We needed various items during our stay and Walmart, within walking distance had just about everything. The back part of the property has 3 patio areas built into the Ponderosa Pine studded hillside. That was a nice place to sit and grab a little vitamin D. The 5 acres of hilly terrain was too steep for me to navigate safely without hiking boots. I had to refrain from twisting an ankle if I wanted to dance with my son at his wedding. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, however the Master bedroom did not have any type of closet, just hooks on the back of the door. The bedroom with the queen bed has its own bath and also a wardrobe for hanging clothes. None of the bedrooms had any room darkening blinds or shades so I would advise bringing a sleep mask if early morning light would be an issue for you.
