Historic Bonny Cottage au centre-ville de Beaufort SC

Bonny Cottage est situé sur la propriété d'Ellen et Mike Tomy dans le quartier historique de Beaufort, en Caroline du Sud. Il a été construit à la fin des années 1800 après le récent "désagrément" pour les esclaves libérés qui ont choisi de rester dans le sud. Ce chalet est tellement gai et a un esprit si doux, une mauvaise humeur va disparaître très rapidement. De belles vues sont tout autour.
Bonny Cottage comprend une chambre avec un lit queen-size et une grande salle de bain avec douche, une cuisine complète et une buanderie. Il est seul et dispose d'un agréable patio extérieur pour le café matinal, le vin et le fromage en fin d'après-midi.

Absolutely perfect place!

The cottage is stunning with paintings by the owner herself. It was like staying in a gallery. Every detail was accounted for and we have absolutely nothing to suggest for improvement. The location was fabulous, we walked everywhere. One of the highlights of our stay was just sitting down with Ellen and Mike and hearing their story. Thank you for such a perfect weekend. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Memorial Day Weekend!

Property was impeccable all around. Attractive, period decor, super clean. Every aspect thoughtfully appointed, down to shower head and toiletries. Loved the quaintness of neighborhood and deep historic character of area. Very pleasurable and memorable. We will absolutely return within the year. Looking forward to becoming further acquainted with hosts, who were kind, gracious, and flexible. Property should retain it's well deserved "10".

Ellen and Mike are so lovely and wonderful hosts, true southern hospitality. The cottage was adorable and in the historic district and close to restaurants and harbor. Perfect Location

We stayed five nights at this lovely place. It is cozy and perfectly located to downtown. Super clean and we had everything we needed provided for us. Plenty of space for me and my wife. Downtown is really at most a five minute walk and the walk is rather nice. Definitely would stay here again. Oh. And just saying the people of this city are the nicest people on the planet ! Seriously!

Vous êtes reçu par Ellen and Mike Tomy

Ellen and Mike Tomy are the owners of Bonny Cottage located on their property 1103 Craven Street, Beaufort, SC. The main house, where Ellen and Mike live, was renovated in 2015 and the cottage was recently renovated in 2019. Mike is a retired architect and a decorated Viet-nam veteran. Ellen is a retired portrait painter.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Vacations from Atlanta down to Beaufort every summer to visit family, we bought this property because of our love for architecture, history and Beaufort itself. Ellen's family roots are in South Carolina so it is like coming home to stay.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

One cannot but feel the presence of happiness and contentment when entering Bonny Cottage. Even before it was renovated, with holes in its floors and dilapidated nature, it was cheerful.
