We went to Colorado Springs to spend time with our family and this was the perfect location. Quiet neighborhood easy access and the owners were very flexible and agreeable. We will stay there again.
As a large family we often struggle with balancing room for our humans and staying in budget. Not a problem here. My kids had room to sprawl, and they had all the immunities for our toddler - pack and play, cup, plates, and toys. This was a bit out of the desired location for our getaway but so glad we booked here!! It had everything we wanted and needed, and the view as you turn on the main road will not disappoint! It took our breath away everytime.
The property was exactly as it had been listed on the website. Perfect for my family and in a great location which was quiet and safe but close enough to all amenities.
Our family of 6 spent a week in Colorado Springs and we couldn't have spent our time in a more accommodating home. Everyone had their own space and nobody felt cramped or uncomfortable. We felt right at home, especially with how fully equipped it was. We really didn't have a need to purchase anything aside from our groceries. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful as well. The host was very kind and warm and even left us a pasta meal ready to cook. Their responses were almost immediate and they even offered some very helpful eating out recommendations. You can tell they really care about the guest that they invite into their home because they treat you like family. We honestly do not have a single negative thing to say about our stay. Finding the perfect place to come home to while on vacation is very important and it can either make your vacation amazing, or damper your overall experience. I can confidently say that you can't go wrong staying here. We look forward to coming back to Colorado Springs and staying here again.
Tracy and Travis were amazing hosts, home was adorable and super comfy, neighborhood was quiet and safe! The only "downfall" is that there is only 1 TV (I know, first world problem)
This property appears to be 100% dedicated to VRBO, and I would guess it was fully renovated in the last 5 years or so. It's probably a late 80's or early 90's original construction home that has been fully renovated.
It is in good condition and has room for a bunch of people. We had 9 people in our party with four adults and 5 kids between 16-12. Each set of parents got our own room, and shared a bathroom, and all 5 kids had a spot in a bed and a shared bathroom in the basement area.
The kitchen is complete and everything in the space works as it should. There is a backyard you can hang out in if you want, and a garage where one car can be parked making room in the driveway for another. There is a full laundry set-up which is nice for after a day rafting and hitting the hot springs. The location was great for our purposes as we headed out each day first to the Pike's Peak area, and the second day to The Royal Gorge. The wifi worked well, and they have a big screen TV with Netflix, etc. for viewing whatever you're into. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to be used for any/all cooking needs. Has a coffee maker and even coffee ready to use.
The hosts left a pasta meal for us on the counter, along with a couple of bags of microwave popcorn, and that was a very nice touch.
This is a spacious, reasonably priced home for either a big single family, or a couple of families where the kids can share. The hosts were excellent communicators and I would gladly stay with them again.
I recommend this property and these hosts without reservation.
This property was great for us! We were in town for a graduation and it had everything we needed and then some. The host was extremely responsive and checked in regularly to make sure we had what everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place!
Our stay at this property was a mixed bag. Letâs start with the positives- good communication with the host. They were prompt in their responses and remedied supply issues during our stay. The property looked good visually when we checked in.
The concerns - the bathrooms are small. The upstairs bathroom (per listing is recently renovated) had some peeling paint by the sink, the towel holder was loose (looked like it had come off the wall before) the handheld shower was leaking water through the hose, the soap dispenser was broken.
There was some cleanliness issues when we checked in - lots of dust in the ceiling fan area in the living room, broken glass in the master bedroom
Other concerns - The doors need to be pushed a little to be closed, the metal bunk beds creaked every time you turned in bed, the backyard had lots of weeds. The property is decorated nicely with lots of pillows and accessories but when you look deeper, it just needs some work
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We found the home comfortable, easy to access, and charming. It's location offered us easy access to local sights and restaurants. We thought your "book" was very helpful. It was obvious you put extra effort into it. Bravo!
We have a few suggestions to improve client comfort. In the two bathrooms consider adding a small shelf to accommodate client's toiletries. In the shower downstairs a shower caddy would be very helpful. If your home sleeps 8, consider a 5 or 6 piece patio set. The mornings and evenings were very nice, and we love to take our morning coffee and evening conversation to the patio.
We would not hesitate to rent this house in the future.
Our happy family of four loves to travel! We love the outdoors, which includes everything from bike riding, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, and sightseeing.
We moved to Colorado Springs ourselves in mid-2018 after falling in love with it during multiple trips. CO Springs is a great city that offers tons of outdoor activities and has some incredible sights to see.
