We enjoyed our stay, in the large and comfortable home. Great local village. The downstairs pool table requires a âŹ1 to use and is beside the gas burner, so the space is a little sooty and has an odour, so we didn't use that space. The house number signage could have been a little more obvious, as it was a little confusing to find.
The flat was perfect for our few days visit to AngoulĂȘme. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room in the large sitting and dining rooms. The kitchen was well equipped (although a kettle wouldnât go amiss for us Brits). The games room was fun, with a great pub pool table. Thereâs plenty of space to park behind the building, and while it can be hard to spot the side street when you first arrive, itâs fine when you know where it is. There are a few lovely boulangeries a short drive into Ruelle-sur-Touvre, and the accommodation is well located to quickly reach all parts of the surrounding area. All in all a great find that weâll bear in mind if we return to the area.
