Mary and her husband are amazing. This is our second year returning we weren't disappointed. They pay close attention to detail very accommodating the place is amazing. Will be back again.

This house was amazing!! It was our 2nd year in a row booking this house for our yearly family trip, and this has been our favorite house by far!! We have a large group but this location was perfect for us and the host was great so we will be back!!

Mary was a wonderful host. The home had everything you could dream of and more. We had 30 family members there for a Sandusky wedding in September. The kids loved the game room, the Gen Z’s loved the theater room, everyone loved eating together in the expansive, fully equipped kitchen. There was even room to charge 3 golf carts behind the house at night. We loved the outdoors area with large fire pit each night as well!

We hosted a women’s wellness retreat and the feedback from the attendees were full of adoration and appreciation. The owners of the VRBO thought of everything, were very attentive, told us about the Saturday farmers market, and answers everything promptly.Our theme for this retreat were Spa Vibes. The beds, bathrooms and relaxing atmosphere fit like the perfect puzzle piece. We even had estheticians give facials in the upstairs family room.We even hosted yoga for all 25 women in the kitchen & living area, hosted dinner outside under the lights, and enjoyed a movie night in the (very cozy, mind you) theater. We would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone and everyone. Thanks again!

We had a family reunion here and loved it. The large dinning area was perfect for our extended family meals and hanging out together. The entire home was very clean, the kitchen and pantry had everything we needed and more. All of the beds were comfy. Plus there are plenty of things to do within walking distance. We highly recommend it!

Absolutely incredible stay! So much space and beautifully decorated mansion, but if feels more like staying in a castle! Amazing amenities and they had everything we could possibly need.

We had an amazing stay! The house was HUGE and had more than enough space for our large group without ever feeling crowded. Everything was incredibly clean and well cared for, which we really appreciated.One of the biggest standouts for me was the kitchen. When the listing says fully stocked, they truly mean fully stocked! There was everything we could possibly need for cooking, serving, and hosting a large group, which made our weekend so much easier. It’s rare to stay somewhere and not find yourself wishing you had brought some random kitchen item from home!The entire property was perfect for a group getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our bachelorette weekend. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone traveling with a larger group!

This house was absolutely amazing! This is our 12th family trip and this house is definitely one of our favorites of all time. We had so much fun in Sandusky! The location of the house is absolutely perfect —so walkable to lots of activities. There are lots of drivable options too just a short distance away. Our family of 28 all had their own bedrooms and felt like there was a lot of space to move. We have never had a home so beautifully decorated or a kitchen so well equipped and organized Mary, our host answered all of our questions quickly and was so gracious and kind. We are already talking about how our next VRBO home will not even be able to compete with the home or week of fun we had in Sandusky.

The layout of this mansion was what made it successful. The main living area is roomy with lots of areas for various family members to gather according to their separate interests. Having ample room for the children to play upstairs in the game room theater and two lounges left plenty of room for the adults to gather for more quiet time downstairs. Walking distance to the jet Express ferry, downtown Sandusky and various museums and parks made it a great location. 10 minutes to Cedar Point, 20 minutes to Marblehead and 20 minutes to the African Safari, made the location the ideal place for people to spread out according to their interests during the day. The kitchen with all the amenities made mealtime gathering a delight. An unexpected surprise was the formal serving dishes which we used during meal time making meal gathering time a time to feel spoild and loved.

We could not have asked for a more amazing place to stay for my cousin’s 60th birthday! Our family enjoyed every second in this spacious location… that had ALL the amenities and so many fun and interesting “finds” throughout the home. The history of the area and location were especially charming. This was a 10 out of 10 stay! PS… the kitchen was so big we were able to have a “cook-off”… :)

A fantastic experience in a wonderful property managed by a superb host. The media/movie room is cooool! The kids (and their parents) really enjoyed watching movies in reclining theater seats while eating freshly-popped popcorn. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to feed an army, and the open-concept living/dining/kitchen area encourages everyone to be together. The game room includes treats, games and all you need for family game night. The outdoor area is beautiful and very thoughtfully arranged for dining, games and conversation. The property is incredibly clean and Mary, the host is wonderfully responsive. They have thought of everything (2 dishwashers, 2 washer/dryers, great cooking appliances, huge refrigerator/freezer) and special touches through the property. The placement of bunk bedrooms “beside but separate” from parent rooms is thoughtful and just right! Walkable to downtown and very quiet. Our 50th wedding anniversary celebration was an amazing success because we chose the best Sandusky property.

This property was amazing!!! The amenities were fantastic - truly anything you can imagine needing was provided. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of space for my group. The kitchen was gorgeous and the living room was a great hangout space. The movie room was also amazing and the candy bar and popcorn machine were a great touch!! We loved our weekend stay!
