Que vous veniez à Chapel Hill pour le travail ou les loisirs, la maison à talons est votre escapade idéale. Le Dean Dome, le stade Kenan Memorial Stadium, l'hôpital UNC et les jardins botaniques UNC sont facilement accessibles à pied. Heel House, 4 chambres récemment rénovées, dispose de lits confortables, de draps frais, d'une cuisine complète et peut accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes. (Demandez-moi comment accueillir de plus grands groupes!) Il y a un grand parking et de superbes espaces de vie extérieurs à apprécier également. Amazing stay

We stayed here for a long weekend. My daughters had soccer camp and this location was perfect for that. It's proximity to the camp locations is great and avoids some of the traffic and sitting at street lights. It's 5 minutes walk to campus and could see this being ideal for any sports camps in general. Would and plan to stay here again!

A quiet place to relax

A cozy, welcoming and convenient home with excellent proximity to the unc campus. Comfortably accomodates 4-5 adults and 3-4 children. Wonderful location near great restaurants and many community activities

Family friendly fun home!

Stephanie and Adam were very gracious hosts, they were welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. We found the home comfortable and the outdoor area was really fun for our kids to enjoy. We highly recommend!

Great location central to lots of fun things to do. The yard has no grass and by the edge house there is trash, and out back is a wire hanging low that can get you if you aren’t careful, plus a broke down car taking up space in the tight driveway too. If the apartment on the side of the house is booked you have to share the driveway which can make getting in and out difficult. Lovely master bed and bathroom! The kitchen is fantastic if you need to cook while you are away. Overall I felt clean and safe but struggled getting the dogs walked and getting in and out of the driveway.

Great house for a family!

This is a wonderful property - lots of room, great layout, good location, nice neighborhood, full of all that you need. Very thoughtful hosts. They left us lots of goodies and even a bottle of Champagne since we were in town for our daughter's wedding. I highly recommend it.

Great weekend in Chapel Hill

6 adults rented this house during a football weekend this fall. The location of this house was such that you can easily walk to campus while still enjoying a quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean and well appointed. Communication from the owners was top notch. We will be back for our next visit to Chapel Hill.

Wedding Weekend

The Heel House could not have been a better place for my family to stay! My son was getting married at The Fearrington and the location was perfect! Stephanie and Adam left kind notes and a some extra special touches for the bride and groom that were greatly appreciated. If I could give The Heel House 10 stars I would. Thank you Stephanie and Adam for being fantastics hosts.

Location + Charm

This is a wonderfully charming home located a hop, skip and a jump from the UNC Campus and Franklin Street. It is an older home with character, well decorated and equipped. It's a little odd in that the owners also live there or have this as their second home. Personal items, including food items are everywhere. We have never stayed in an occupied home so personally it was a bit uncomfortable. Having said that though, there is also plenty of room to unpack and spread out. It was not bothersome just odd for our group. The location is perfect for UNC visitors. Walkers can make a jaunt to the campus or Franklin Street with ease. Traffic can be a bit heavy on the main road during the day so traffic noise was apparent but at night it was not an issue. If you are not from the Carolina's the driveway will make you pause. It is steep as the house in on a hill. Locals will not see it as an issue. We did have an elderly person with us that needed a hand navigating the drive and outside stairs but it is totally doable. We were a group of seven adults and the home was comfortable and spacious for us. I would caution people with very young children to be aware that the home is decorated with many fragile items. Our only complaint is that the outdoor furniture was not useable, it was very worn and dirty. It was not as pictured in the description. There was an outdoor table that was ok but the rest we could not use. Overall, we would visit the home again.

Charming & Welcoming

The house was very charming & welcoming. Location was convenient to UNC and Chapel Hill activities. House was clean. Lock box made access easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay at Heel House again. Future travelers should note the following. House is lived in by owners so clothes, food, toiletries, etc. are all in the house. Master bed is very soft. Driveway is step and the parking spot is loose stone. Guesthouse is attached to the house.

Great around break in Chapel Hill

The Heel House was a perfect spring break getaway! Our daughter is a student athlete at UNC and her training schedule didn’t allow her to come home for break. The house was amply supplied with all we needed to bring a bit of home to her. You cannot beat the location if your plans take you to UNC. I would definitely book this property again!

TarHeel birthday weekend

What a great weekend in a beautiful home in Chapel Hill! We loved the TarHeel House! As season ticket holders to all UNC games, we are used to hustling to the car, and battling the traffic to get home. How nice to meander to the bars after the game, like students! Hahaha!! We couldn’t have picked a better home, location, and hosts for our game day weekend. Beautiful property! Warm, inviting, lovely decor, and stocked with anything and everything! Stephanie is the most gracious of hosts! She’ll do anything to make your stay perfect. I’m so glad we chose this rental, and hope to return! Thanks for making it special!

The Perfect House

We loved staying here while in town for a Celebration of Life. It was cozy and beautifully decorated. As a native Chapel Hillian who now lives in Texas I appreciated the decor and the Carolina vibe as well. The hosts were extremely thoughtful to us as well. We just loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to town for a game or family weekend or any reason whatsoever really. It’s a perfect spot.

Fall Family Visit

We had a great stay at this home. It has beautiful wooded surroundings and is in a convenient location for Chapel Hill. The home was very nice and clean. It has a cozy feel to relax inside. Stephanie was always helpful with our communications during our visit.

Great place to stay in Chapel Hill

We were heading to the UNC Tennis center daily so this property was ideal. Everything we needed for a productive trip to UNC. The home was clean, inviting, and decorated in such a lovely way. I highly recommend staying here.
