Everything was Perfect at this House

Arrived late in the afternoon. House has a great view of the mountains with a running creek behind the property. The running water made for great sleeping at night. Saw one fox, an eagle and the neighborhood moose. Inside was very spacious with TVs in every room. The internet was high speed with no issues. Beds were all mostly comfortable. The one bed in the room with the upstairs balcony sank in the middle. Overall a great experience and will book again.

Fantastic Home to Make Memories

Our friends and family take an annual trip to the mountains (*some of us live out of state and the others live in Denver) and this home has been by far our favorite. There was plenty of space for all of the adults and the two dogs. The views are stunning and you feel like your the only house around, even though you're in a neighborhood. I had brought my slippers with me because I had noticed the stone floors, the joke was on me, the floors are heated and it was wonderful. :) The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing. We loved our stay so much, we're coming back in 2024! Thank you, Rob for being so quick to respond to any questions we had, etc.

This is a beautiful house in an awesome setting!

Large, spacious rooms; awesome kitchen with anything you could possibly need to cook, bake, grill, etc!! The jacuzzi was well kept and regularly checked for chemical balance; and the game room was a hit! It was a spectacular setting for my family (adults and children).

Property = 5 + stars House was magnificent, very clean and huge ! Mountain View’s through the massive windows were breathtaking! Every thing you need, fully stocked! Check in-Check out = 5 + stars A breeze! Easy peasy Host = 5 + stars Robert was outstanding, very prompt to respond, even FaceTime on Christmas Eve to resolve an issue. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LARGE HOUSE FOR A FAMILY GETAWAY LOOK NO FURTHER !!!

Beautiful, spacious home in Blue River

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, large home in Blue River. The mountain views were wonderful and the house is spacious and full of luxurious touches. The location is convenient to Breck but, also, for our group, it was great to be a little closer to fishing and rafting further south. We very much appreciated the multiple bedrooms with king beds and private bathroom suites, making everyone in our extended family group feel comfortable. We also enjoyed being able to bring our dogs. At the time we booked (many months in advance), there was mention of fence and dog run, but that was apparently removed when the back fire pit was installed (and the listing has been updated to remove that reference so that should not be an issue for future bookings). There are neighboring homes that are close to this property, but the bushes and yard layout generally maintain privacy. The homeowner Rob was kind and responsive, easy to deal with. We had a couple issues with kitchen appliances and such, but nothing that I would expect to be long-term issues for future guests. We invested a lot to book this property and, on the whole, our group would give it around 4.5 stars in terms of overall value and meeting our (admittedly high) expectations. It was a great Colorado stay for us.

Beautiful views & property

This house was simply amazing and conveniently located near Breckenridge. There was plenty of room in this home for 6 adults and 4 children (all under the age of 10). We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the views and fireplace, while we cooked some ribs on the grill. I could not have asked for a better vacation with my friends and family. There were a couple issues, but, nothing detrimental to our stay. I just didn't want Robert to think we broke anything! Robert and I spoke, and he knew about the minor issues, which were being fixed, so that was great. Also, because this property is pet friendly, the game room smelled a little like dog and/or cat pee (so I might suggest getting the carpet cleaned). Again, not detrimental to our stay, because we still had a blast in the game room. Overall, would definitely love to come and stay here again in the Fall and Winter!

Gorgeous house with AMAZING view

Our family of six really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean, and it was nice to have king sized beds and bathrooms for everyone, versus just the master suite like many rentals. We can’t say enough about the views- At times, we just sat on the couch or patio and took in the scenery
it is amazing. Our group was split on the location; it was definitely out of the hustle and bustle of Breckenridge, which some in our party said they would prefer, but for a family looking for a beautiful property that’s outside of the city, this is an awesome choice!

The ski house was beautiful! We had such a fun time! The hot tub and views were incredible! Such a spacious beautiful home with everything you could possibly need! We loved how all the bedrooms had their own bath — which was great for our adult kids and family friends! Super fun game room too!

Beautiful mountain home

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful mountain home. The rooms were big and comfortable, huge soaking tubs in 2 baths and even a steam shower! We enjoyed some hot tub time on the back patio watching the sunsets, and drove easily into town for fun activities. The decorated tree was a bonus for us. We felt right at home and had plenty of space with 3 couples and 2 kids. Only suggestions are to add blinds in the downstairs bedroom upper windows and living room. It was hard to sit in the living room in the afternoon without any shades, but luckily the game room stayed nice and cool all day, giving us a break from the sun and heat on the days we stayed at the house. The upper yard wasn’t fully fenced in either, but our pup wasn’t a fan of the snow and wanted to spend as little time outside as possible so this wasn’t so much an issue for us. The basket of wine and goodies was an extra nice touch, and the responsiveness from Rob was always super fast. I would stay here again and recommend to others looking for a beautiful mountain home not far from all the action around Breckenridge.

Luxurious Mountain Getaway

We stayed at this property over a long weekend with family friends and had a wonderful time. The house is clean, spacious, and well furnished; it includes king sized beds and TVs in each bedroom, a fully appointed kitchen, and many amenities for families with infants/children. Additionally, with so little light pollution you'll be treated to an awe inspiring stargazing experience from the hot tub or the fire pit!

Great location away from the busy-ness of Breck but still close enough to enjoy!

We had a great overall experience at this property. The house has great bedrooms and bathrooms and our kids enjoyed the game room as well. Cell phone service is basically nonexistent there, but the wifi was good and strong. We saw a moose mom and baby walk by the driveway in front of the house one evening so that was a huge highlight for me. We had a small issue with getting into the house but we were able to contact Rob and he was super responsive. We only had to contact him one other time to get the fire pit started, and he was immediately helpful. Our only downside was that we were looking forward to using the dog run to let our dog be off leash outside and the fence was not up there. We had specifically reserved this property because of that dog friendly amenity, so that was a bummer. It would not prevent us from returning, we would just plan accordingly next time. Beautiful location with lovely views of the mountains.

Great house and great owner

Loved everything about the house and our experience. The kitchen was fully stocked, the back yard was lovely, and the communication with the owner was outstanding. Would have liked the hot tub just a few degrees warmer, but it was great anyway. Had two resident foxes that liked to pay us a visit outside , so I'd make sure not to feed them. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Family getaway in the mountains

This was such a wonderful stay for 8 adults just a 15 minute drive away from breckenridge. We loved our evenings out by the Firepit and in the hot tub. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals at home and had everything we needed. The pictures online did make it look a bit more secluded and on more land than it actually is but we it still private and was plenty of space. The views were absolutely amazing morning and night, we would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Breckenridge Home

We had a great time at this property in Breckenridge. Rob was extremely helpful and communicated actively with us. The home is beautiful. We had 12 with us and had enough room for everyone. The spa in the master bedroom is a must use! We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

We celebrated my father’s 70th birthday at this property. It was so spacious and well equipped. We had 6 adults and one 2 year old and we had more than enough room. The view is spectacular and the property manager is great to communicate with! We will definitely be staying here next ski season!

Fantastic house = great stay!

We loved this property. Spacious and beautiful views. Kitchen was lovely, and the heated floors were such a nice plus. Communications with the owner were super fast and very helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

As a Colorado residents, my wife, Cara and I live on the Front Range with our 3 young kids. We both grew up enjoying the outdoors, as well as the conforts of a nice place to call "home base"!
We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do, while exploring all the amazing things that Summit County has to offer!

The Lakeshore Retreat is perfectly located among all the best that Breckenridge has to offer! We are located minutes from downtown Breckenridge's vibrant shopping, dining, and nightlife. If you don't want to drive, there is a daily shuttle that picks up in front of the neighborhood that takes you to both downtown, and Breckenridge Resort for some of the best skiing and snowboarding that Colorado has to offer.
Simply put, you get the peace and quiet of not dealing with the downtown "noise", along with the convenience of being there in minutes.

In the summertime, we are located less than a mile from the Quandry Peak (14er) trail head, as well as many other popular hiking and biking areas. There are also plenty of other summer activites nearby, including whitewater rafting, fly fishing, etc.

The seclusion and privacy that our house provides, is second to none. You can watch the wildlife (Moose, deer, elk) that visit the two nearby lakes from the hot tub, relaxing around the fire pit, or from your bedroom balcony.
The evening sunsets over Quandry Peak make for an experience that you will not forget!
