Very clean

The condo was very spacious and clean. The communication was excellent. We had originally booked another condo which not fo3ing to work for us. It was nasty. I booked this condo and was able to get in right away. The AC went out one night and i called and they were there ro fix it within 30 minutes

Great Family Condo

The condo was as advertised and being on the 4th floor was great! It was very clean and Anthony was great with communication before, during, & after the trip. We will definitely book here again.

Clean and convenient

After reading the most recent reviews we were concerned with cleanliness and state of usable kitchenware. We honestly didn't see huge issues with either. It was very clean and we had plenty of everything. The kitchenware was dated but it worked! We stayed a week and was incredibly comfortable. Plenty of space for 2 kids and several adults. So convenient to the beach. The elevators took a while depending on the time but not as bad as I thought it would be. Very happy with our stay!

The Owners

The floors were disgusting, whoever Tand and Chang get to do there cleaning should be fired and they should be ashamed of themselvss for letting their condo become filthy. Our grandchild hadnt walked on the floor 5 minutes and his feet were solid black from filth. Also the elevators need to be updated, waiting 45 minutes and still no elevator is beyond ridiculous

Very unhappy

I paid over $400 a night for a place that the bunkbeds had crumbs in them. The kids refused to sleep in them, the fire alarm chirp all night long had to buy and replace the batteries. The remotes did not work for the TVs. The TV in the living room TV. The other two TV in never got used because it would never come on, the TV in the master bedroom had a cable box and had a Roku box with no instructions. The plug behind one of the Chester drawers is a fire hazard is hanging out of the wall. The pans in this place was terrible. Look like someone had burnt the pans. We were supposed to have friends over and we canceled because we did not have this stuff to cook with, the toaster did not work. This was the first time we used VRBO and it might be the last because this was the worst vacation for the money. I will not recommend this unit to any of my friends. It was horrible. They need to update the pots and pans the toaster. This stuff is very expensive. The toilet seat in the master bedroom needs to be fixed or repaired because I tightened it several times I spent more time working on the place buying batteries. I think the owner should reimburse me money for what I’ve had Experienced. The last thing, we were unable to use the shower in one of the bedrooms because maintenance requested we not use it because the pipes was leaking from it and going into the person down below unit.

Would stay again

Property pretty much as described. We had a comfortable stay. Condo was clean, bed’s comfortable, AC was cold, located on 4th floor so we could avoid the elevator and use stairs. Needs cookware badly. What’s there is limited and heat warped. The building is showing its age, but not unexpected in the area. Overall had a good stay.

Had the best time

We really love staying at tidewater every year we were only planning to stay the weekend and we decided to stay Sunday night as well property manager got us fixed up really quick with a extra day everything was clean and very nice never have any complaints we will be back next year oh and it's close to alot of things !! I highly recommend this place for sure !!

Great location, lower floor a must

This was a great condo to stay in for a 5 day stay in PCB. 4th floor made it easy to by-pass waiting on a elevator. But there was another elevator right around the corner, plus stairs, which made it even easier. Plenty of room, and 3 full baths. The condo could use a little updating, paint, etc., but for our purposes it was great.

Clean and near everything

I enjoyed my stay! The place was clean and loved that they left dish soap, sponge, paper towel, and soaps! I wish the beds were a little more comfortable but other than that great!

The elevators in the building was terrible, had to wait from 10 to 20 minutes

The room was nice but the kitchen pots and pans were terrible. The elevators were the worse I have ever experienced, I would not stay there again because of the elevators and the check in took forever.

Beautiful view

The unit is conveniently located near the stairs and on a floor that made the walk up and down the stairs so much easier than waiting for the elevators. Trust me you are going to be thrilled to have the stairs and a secondary elevator close to the unit. The beach is the highlight of this location and the condo has an excellent view of it. The unit was clean and comfortable but a tad worn.

Very nice and comfortable

We enjoyed this condo so much! We had plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. Everything worked as it should, the cleaners did a great job, and the owners were very communicative when needed. We loved this location in the heart of PCB. We didn’t have a problem with elevators, but then they were taking longer than usual, it was no problem for us to walk 2 flights of stairs. Plenty of parking spaces. Walking distance to some restaurants.

Liked-The owner was nice and responded quickly. Dis liked-the condo that I was supposed to stay in got cancelled by the owner at the absolute last minute. He offered a refund or a move to another unit. At the time I had no choice but to take the move due to timing, nothing else was available and I already had other plans that could not be cancelled at such a short notice. As stated I had to move to another unit and was told I would also have to cut my stay short and check out 1 day early because the new unit was already booked. He did give me a full day refund however I was still inconvenienced by the early departure. I do feel that the situation could have been handled better. He could have allowed me to stay until my original departure and asked if I could be checked out by 0900 and asked the other people to check in at 0500. That would have still given housekeeping a full day to clean, what I left in as food of shape as I found it any way. -The condo was dated and in need of repairs. -the pots and pans were dirty and seemed to be extremely wore out. My opinion, I know it is a rental but seems like the owner should try to maintain the amenities so that people can use them. -The people cleaning should also do a more thorough job. We found a half drank coke can under the queen bed, a dirty sock beside the dresser in the queen room, the furnace filter was dirty and in backwards and there was lint and dryer sheets beside the washer stack

Labor Day Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the Tidwater 414. Great views!! We really liked that we were only on the 4th floor and could use the stairs. The elevators are AWFUL!! That is the only down fall of staying here. We did have an issue with sand fleas in the bunk area of our condo. But the owner contacted me within minutes and suggested and instructed us on what to do. We only saw 2-3 and never had an issue again. They were really sweet and super easy to deal with and communicated quickly when I had questions or anything!

The information of the property…

When I first booked this property it said it was on the first floor. After I received the confirmation, it was actually on the 4th floor and if that was the case I would of never of booked it. Now once we checked in and dealt with the horrific elevators to finally bring our stuff to our room. We unpacked and I finally sat down on the couch and after a few min I saw a clear looking bug with its body all red… it was a young bed bug! I was horrified! I took all the cushions off the couch, I unfolded the mattress out of the couch and searched the whole couch over. I took all the beds apart and searched all the mattresses which were all covered with bed bug covers. I was ate up with bed bug bites the whole trip. My arms and back were covered in bites. When I contacted the owner of the place he said that it’s probably sand fleas. But I was not out on the beach at night except for the last night of our stay. Stay away from this place!!! Once we got home we never unpacked our luggage.. we had it opened in the hot, hot sun and we took our clothes so many at a time and put them in the dryer and then washed them. We had all of our luggage and personal stuff treated by a professional bug person. I will never go back to Tidewater again because this is our second time there and this is again one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. We usually meet friends and family there, I told them I will not be coming back again.

Bed bugs

Our first night there we found bed bugs in the bunk area. I immediately notified the host to let them know about it. His response was “we’ve rented this out all summer with no issue”. They sent out a cleaner who only cleaned one bedroom. The next day we found them again and got video evidence. The owner did give us a refund but we had to end our stay early because an exterminator was not available at the time.

The property owners are very responsive. The condo is dated and needs several updates. The building outside of the condo was not the cleanest and the elevator is awful. The restaurant is a hidden gem.

Had better expectations. Not very pleased with the experience.

Property as a whole was very rundown and had roaches in the lobby. AC broke twice. Room had black mold throughout the bathrooms. Elevator last were terrible and very slow and had to take the stairs with a stroller 99% of the time.

Cleanliness wasn’t the best there was no dish shop and nothing to wash dishes with the beds were very uncomfortable the check in process sucked it’s says nothing about a late fee if you don’t check in online before but there is.

No Sidewalks!

Condo was nice and we always took the steps, with CoVid19, we avoided the elevators and it was only four floors,. But, any where outside we wanted to go, there were no sidewalks until farther down the road. We had to either walk in wet grass or on side of road. I know condo owners aren't responsible for that, but be aware.
