Wonderful family getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this incredibly private property. Plenty of room inside and outdoors to spread out and explore. We were a group with three teenagers and an 8 year old- despite no WiFi in the house they not only survived they all said they had a great time. I am not sure there is a higher compliment from a teenager! We lived the massive fire pit and just sitting on the deck. Many thanks Louis, we hope to visit again in the winter for some skiing as well.

Amazing ski weekend!

We had such a pleasant experience at Louis’ place for a quick get away weekend to ski at Hunter! The house was 10 minutes to the mountain, which made it even better! Just as stated, the house was very clean and cozy giving a real woodsy/mountain feel. The kitchen was well equipped and Louis was a great host. He was very quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had, and made us feel very at ease with this vacation. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! We will definitely look for availability in this house next time we come to Hunter. All of our guests agree - 10/10!

Perfect rental for group of family or friends

The house was as expected from vrbo listing and reviews. The house is great for larger groups as there is a lot of seating for dining and relaxing and sitting in the great room. The fire pit was great for making s’mores with the kids. Each room had comfortable beds and offered a lot of sleeping arrangements for the group. Louis was excellent! Super responsive if had any questions while staying at the property. Only a 10 minute drive to hunter mountain too. Overall a 5 star experience and stay - would highly recommend!

Great place and a great location.

This place is in between both Hunter and Windham Mountain. It’s a large house that can accommodate a large group. Louis was very easy to deal with and answered any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again

Great stay

The house is spacious and perfect for a group of family or friends. Very convenient and close to Hunter Mountain. Liked the wood burning stove and taxidermy. Easy communication with the owner.

Excellent Stay!

I booked this place for a weekend getaway with friends and family to ski at both Hunter and Windham (both nearby and easy to get to)! The house was exceptionally clean, spacious, and the perfect setting to warm up after a long day outside! Louis was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone and I look forward to returning in the future!

Great stay!

This house was perfect for our multifamily getaway. The property is very well kept, clean, and spacious. Communication with the host was easy. We especially enjoyed the large great room and wrap around porch. The short 10 minute drive to Hunter Mountain made those long days on the mountain much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this house.

This Place is Magical

I travelled with a film crew taking shots upstate and we were completely blown away by the comfort, decor, attention to detail and the communication with the host. We had a blast and I knownim coming back very, Very soon.

House was very nice for 2 families. Plenty of room for all. One downfall with teenagers was no WiFi. The tv in great room could have been a little more modern and very confusing to use. Cleaning crew could have done better.

Wonderful Stay

During these times, it was so great to have a weekend away. This house is amazing! It is super spacious and has great rooms to hangout in with larger groups. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay- Louis is communicative and very kind. We will definitely be back!

Awesome place - wonderful stay

The house was so much more than we expected. Definitely roomy or nicer than the pictures portrayed. The property owners were extremely accommodating. Lots to do not only in the area but also on the property. We look forward to returning in the future.

Lovely stay

The house is situated on a beautiful secluded property with easy access to Hunter and Tannersville town. It is very spacious with a great kitchen and dining area. The house and property cater to hunters and has a lot of taxidermy. Louis the host was very responsive and flexible.

We stayed at Louis property for 3 nights, had an awesome time with friends and family. The pics don’t do justice, we were all impressed. Cleanliness is on point. Louis is easy to talk to when needed help. Overall we had a good time.

Amazing place for groups

We are a group of adults that like to rent a house to meet up occasionally. This house was perfect in every way. Firstly, it was immaculately clean. It is rustic, but not outdated...Everything was in great condition, clean and new linens, towels, e.t.c. The rooms are large and open and perfect for large groups to gather comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pans, dishes, e.t.c. The property is gorgeous and secluded, with options ranging from leisurely walks in the woods to a more strenuous uphill hike. The porch and firepit area was everyone's favorite... again, plenty of seating and great for a group. Couldn't have been happier with this rental!

A hidden gem. Pictures don’t do it justice.

My family and I stayed at Louis’ place at the end of August. Louis was really helpful and responsive. He answered within minutes. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities the property had to offer. The house and outdoor areas were extremely spacious. The large kitchen/dining area and outdoor seating were our favorite parts. The kitchen was fully equipped with appliances and all kitchenware. Louis also provided bedding, towels, and toiletries. The house is nearby a river which makes for soothing sounds at night. And driving distance to lots of restaurants and supermarkets. I definitely recommend booking with Louis for your next stay and take the time to enjoy the beauty of the property. We hope to have the opportunity to book again!

Bigger than expected

Louis house is really big, there are 6 bedrooms, and a bundle bed downstairs as well. The pictures don't reflect the size of the living area, the kitchen, dining area and living room are massive! As written it is 10min from hunter mountain (6 miles approx). Louis was easy to communicate with, and I'm going to see if we can go back in March!
