Beach Bash

The house was exactly what we were looking for. Our families came in from Louisiana, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. Very spacious and comfortable.

Fabulous vacation home

This home was perfect for our summer vacation. The location was great. The home was very clean and extremely well equipped. We were very impressed of all that was available from an abundance of kitchen items to safety gates, Pack and play, crib, high chair, kids games, and even beach chairs, towels, and even a wagon. We absolutely loved it. Randall contacted us upon arrival just to check that everything went ok. I thought that was very thoughtful. There were a couple of minor issues that typically can happen in a home and Randall responded immediately to my texts and provided resolution. Overall this was one of our best stays ever. House with exterior staircases

Our family of 14 enjoyed our stay in this lovely beach home. The kitchen is well equipped with all the neccessities as well as extras. We appreciated when we used the oven that it did not heat up the kitchen!! The dining table only seats 6 so we couldn't eat together as a family. Ceiling fans on the decks would have made eating outside tolerable as the flies and the heat were oppressive for outdoor dining. Washers and dryers as well as refrigerators on ground floor and main floor was a plus. The dryer on the main floor is in serious need of repair! Sleeping arrangements worked well for our family. Beds are comfy, plenty of nice bath towels. Pool was great and clean but there weren't enough beach towels for everyone. Also, there were no beach chairs provided even though its stated that they are provided. Beach access is a bit of a haul with small children and the owners description of this was pretty accurate. Overall I'd say this is a great property. The lower floor and the main floor appear to have been given a face lift fairly recently but the top floor is a little tired-old carpet-yuk!

Spacious multi-family beach house

It was a great space for our family. 3 couples, 2adult daughters, and 5 grandchildren all had their own spaces, and the open family/dining/kitchen area was perfect for being together. The pool and patio was enjoyed every day by all. The home was well equipped with all that we needed-beach/pool towels, toys, games, kitchen wares, coffee filters, spices. Location was right off 30A and convenient to shops, restaurants, and beach-however, getting to public beach access-finding it with all the private beach areas to a little time, and parking even with a golf cart was a challenge-only about 5 spaces at end of road by beach access. We also had 3 cockroaches-1 found dead in cupboard and 2 live ones-1 in kitchen and 1 in common area in lower level. A response from owner after finding first dead one in cupboard was that it was a result of the extermination process that was a regular service. After that 2 more live ones were found. The house was very clean and we did our best to keep it that way-especially the kitchen, and were diligent about only eating in kitchen and dining areas but to no avail. Other than this problem, we had a wonderful time at this property, but thought it should be known as it was unfortunate to deal with.

Great for Large Family All enjoyed & Loved the Stay

There were hicups but they were handled promptly. Communication concerning days & times of yard & pool maintenance needs improvement. The layout and setup of the house was great and all slept comfortable & sound. Very relaxing, private and perfect for kids, Grandkids & Adults. We ate many good meals together Fish boil, Grilling and many more. Grads said it was the best ever!! Thanks for the lovely Family Memories!! Thanks for a memorable vacation.

Family Fun in Florida!

Totally enjoyed our stay! The house had big rooms for gathering, yet provided spaces to take a break as needed. We were fine with the outdoor access to go from the lower level to the upper level, but glad we knew it in advance. The pool seemed bigger than some we saw at other rentals. We had 8 adults, 4 kids and 2 under 2, and enjoyed every inch of it. Beach access was good. There was space for 4 cars and one golf cart. Owner was responsive and the house was well stocked. Highly recommend it!

Great Family Vacation!!

The house was clean, well-stocked, and had plenty of room for our party of 10. The location was great, once we figured out the shortcut to the beach!! We enjoyed the pool which was very clean and Randall was responsive and helpful.

Family Fun

Enjoyed our time. Owner super responsive. Kitchen was well stocked. Would appreciate a few more kitchen towels (2 just wasn’t enough) and maybe a dish rag. The Braun coffee pot is tricky and we ended up bringing up the Mr. Coffee machine from the basement because the Braun would overflow all over the counter. It was so great having the pool as an option as the beach was too hot with small children. We adjusted well to not having a inner stairwell but didn’t have much rain. We had the couples with babies on the 2nd and 3rd floors and the rest of us on the ground level. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location and fantastic house, as my daughter said " the greatest house ever". Spacious, comfortable, great locale, and quiet area given the number of visitors in the area. Only recommendation is need number to text or call on arrival if problem like key code or wifi login not accurate. Frustrating trying to locate assistance vis website. Good Vacation

House was very clean and kitchen was extremely well stocked with cooking utensils. Also, has a whole cabinet full of spices. Bed is very comfortable. Location close to all kinds of things to do. Pool is very clean. There is a small kitchen and living area on the first floor. Second floor has very large kitchen and living area. Only minor drawback is that to get from the lower level to the kitchen/living area on the second floor is by stairs that are on outside of house.

Great for families

We had a couple of hiccups with door keypads not workin and a dryer that was temperamental, but the property manager was very communicative and eager to work through the issues which was great. Things happen! I would caution that the wi-fi was iffy, but it did not significantly affect our week-long stay. The house had a great layout for our three families, and the beach was a short walk away. We would certainly stay there again!

A wonderful week we won't forget

This trip was a celebration of our Seniors who are graduating from High School in May. Given that 2020 was so crazy, we wanted it to be extra special...and it WAS. I've stayed in many rental properties, but this one was the the most charming and comfortable one of all. The layout is PERFECT for multiple families and/or families with teenagers. The bottom level is completely separate for privacy (you can't access it from inside) and opens out onto the pool deck. The pool is lovely, and heated it was just right for this time in April. The kitchen is hands-down the most well stocked I've seen, from the spice cabinet to the cabinets and drawers that are full of every cooking gadget you will need. We cooked every night and ate out on the main floor deck that has tons of seating. Finally, the location of this home was just perfect for what we wanted: Close enough to areas like Seaside and Rosemary Beach that you could venture there if you wanted to. But tucked away in the more mellow Seagrove, on the end of a quiet side street, with a 2 minute stroll to the beach. communication with the Owner was fast and every question was answered. Honestly, I could go on and on but I probably have enough (can you tell we haven't been back long and I miss the place??). Truly a wonderful week.

Great house...perfect set up for adults & older kids...great location!

We stayed here over Spring Break with a group of 5 moms and 7 high school seniors. The house was a perfect fit for our group, as the guys had their own space downstairs (3 bedrooms and a bathroom, a kitchenette and its own entrance), and the moms had our own space to hang out upstairs...but we could all eat together on the deck and/or in the dining room. Lots of great deck and patio space made for great spots for our shrimp boil and to grill and eat by the pool! All the rooms are big and beds are comfy. Bathroom situation is pretty good...although one bedroom on the main floor has a bathroom that doubles as the "powder bath," which wasn't always convenient. Place is decorated super cute and beachy and is very well stocked as far as kitchen/cooking supplies...but we were surprised by how few paper goods, detergents, trash bags, etc were supplied...maybe that's the new way with rentals?? Nice pool...nothing fancy but very nice to have, and we were able to heat it. Easy parking...beach access about a 7 min easy walk away...a nice bike ride to Seaside (15-20 mins), which was so much better than driving during a busy Spring Break. All in all, we were very happy with the location of the house...close enough to everything but far less busy than Seaside. The owner seemed to be more "in touch" than we are used to with our many other VRBO rentals/stays...he was texting/calling and checking up on us daily but we figured that might have been out of the ordinary and because it was a Spring Break stay in Seaside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the house!

We under estimated how great the house is!

The house was bigger than what we thought. Which meant that we were on top of one another. We had five couples, for children from 6 to 10 years old and one infant. Having the pool there was absolutely fabulous! The kitchen had everything that you could possibly need, including spices and saran wrap, you know the things that you usually forget? Cooking utensils and pots and pans were more than plentiful . And this owner has everything labeled so there’s no doubt what you’re going to find where. There are also two dishwashers which made a huge difference! We could walk to the beach, so it was so very convenient.The interior is very cute and well designed! We would absolutely book this property again!

Review

The house had plenty of space for 10 people. What we were not prepared for was no inside stairwell to reach the lower level. If you had only younger kids this would be a safety issue. The house we more like two separate units in that sense. The pool was dirty when we got there and had issues the whole time. The pump wasn't working properly and even though there was a lot of rain the neighbors pool was crystal clear. The pool guy did finally show up and seemed irritated that he had to be bothered by the situation. The beach access although not far was not as close as we thought it was going to be. We had to share the access with several neighborhoods. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware.

Property needs updated photo and description

With numerous options in the area, we were looking for a quiet, private home with a private pool. Our stay here was June 20-27. We specifically selected this house based upon the owner’s description Of “hidden in the palm trees, magnolias, scum oaks, palmettos and pine...” as well as photos showing the house completely surrounded by these trees. Most of the homes in this area are in open spaces so we thought this was perfect. When we arrived, all vegetation on 3-4 adjacent lots were completely cleared up to 2 feet from fence. All the privacy was gone. When contacting the owner, he stated he was unaware of this event. If that is accurate, it is worth noting that today is July 8th and the exact same description and photos remain on VRBO so no changes in description for future customers or even a disclaimer (I’ve take time stamped photos on VRBO site). Next came the workers to the adjacent lots with air compressors running all day. I can appreciate that an owner can not control what happens on land not owned yet please continue to read for better understanding. After a few more communications with the owner, he stated that he had spoken to the other owners in area and should not have a permit to begin building. I’m curious how there was a line of communication with other owners for this yet no one mentioned to him that the lots were completely and secretly cleared out prior to our arrival? How long ago did this occur? After a few more communications, the workers were told to cease from what appeared to be a city employee. This happened at 2 pm on Thursday so we only were able to enjoy that Friday in peace for our week’s stay. We did request some sort of compensation, which was denied by owner. So to recap, 1) the description and photos are misleading 2) the owner has yet to update the website 18 days after WE informed him of cleared lots and who knows what others before us endured during clearing process 3) Owner indifferent to our concerns. It’s a shame because we did like house itself and area. For the money paid and owner interactions, I would recommend choosing a different home.

At this time, summer of 2020, Florida is experiencing a construction boom, there are houses being built on every vacant lot. I did all that I could to stop the sound of a two workers putting up temporary fence next door, and communicated with everyone to alleviate any issues brought to my attention. Fortunately this popular beach destination will have a new home built next door during the winter months and once again a quiet street for the spring of 2021.

Incredible, clean, conveniently-located rental!

Our 3 families (14 people!) couldn't have been happier with our last minute rental of this home in June 2020. It's located on a quiet street off of 30A a short walk to the lake and the ocean. The kids were able to walk back and forth to the beach and the lake safely (no need to cross busy streets!). We rented bikes and paddleboards and had them delivered to the house -- the kids loved paddleboarding on the lake. The kitchen is a cook's dream -- fully stocked with every kitchen pan, gadget, and utensil you could possibly need (and TWO dishwashers -- wow!). The pool is a perfect size (it's not a small pool that you often see at the beach) -- the kids spent more time in the pool than at the beach! There are two large living areas (upstairs and downstairs), and a large upstairs deck and lower pool deck -- ample seating inside and outside for everyone. The older kids tended to sit in the downstairs living space, while the parents stayed upstairs -- enough separation for everyone! Everything was very clean when we arrived -- we would definitely rent this home again!

Excellent Beach Week

We had 6 couples + 2 babies & this house worked very well for us. It was difficult to find a house for 6 couples without putting someone in a bunk room & this met our needs perfectly. The beach was a short walk. The living room & pool were much larger than they appeared in the photos. Having our own pool was a bonus & it was nice that it was fenced off since we had young children in our group. There a lot of nice amenities included that weren't listed on the vrbo site: 2 dish washers, 2nd fridge downstairs, a gas grill, outdoor shower, some beach chairs, pool floats, baby gates, a pack-n-play, etc. The only negative was that the TV in the downstairs den didn't work.

Great last minute family vacation!

My family and I decided to take a last minute vacation and we’re so glad we did! My wife and kids really liked the colorful décor and unique beach trinkets in each room. The house was spacious and we loved the double decks that allowed my kids to play games downstairs while we read upstairs. The pool was the perfect size for my family and the gulf view was an added bonus to wake up to each morning. This vacation was exactly what my family needed – fun, relaxing, and peaceful. We enjoyed going to the beach and we will definitely stay in this home again!

We have stayed at many ho...

We have stayed at many homes on 30A and your home is one of our favorites. The location is perfect! It is on a quiet section of the beach and the access was easy along the sandy path. I love the fact that the home is casual the way a beach house should be, yet it is decorated beautifully in all of the ocean colors. The house is furnished very generously with cooking supplies, board games, pool toys, plenty of linens, etc. It really does feel like home! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely rent again!! Thank You!!
