Property had everything we needed. Creek was nice but no trout for us unfortunately. Remote location but close to town. We love blue ridge and we will definitely return.
Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Close to shopping, dining and sightseeing. My favorite part was coffee on the front porch every morning with the birds and deer.
Definate place to stay again. Clean, great location, and has everything! We had a short trip and it was fabulous. Quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything. Our dog Sadie Mae loved it. Already thinking about when we can come back.
We stayed a week at the cabin and it was great. The cabin was close to everything we wanted to visit. The best thing was my pups thought they were at Disney World. They had the best time exploring the 10 acres and seeing many deer. We will definitely be back.
The property is beautiful with the creek running behind the house. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the stay and look forward to returning!
This was our second time staying here and it was better the second time around. You can tell the owners take pride in property as we notice some things upgraded. We can't wait to come back. This will be our go to vacation home.
I really like this place and so does the dog! When my wife discovered that there was a TJ Max only 3.5 miles away that sealed the deal. We stayed twice this summer and plan to come again.
We rented for a month but unfortunately we had to leave 10 days early because of a family situation. The time we spent there was great and perfect for our 2 dogs who loved to swim the the pond and creek.
My family and I had a great time at the cabin. It was all that we could ever want for our family vacation. Location was great! Cabin was great! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need for durning vacation. We loved the fact that we could seat on the screen in back porch and hear the stream which is right out the back door. We loved it and hope to come back soon.
We came for a quick weekend getaway before school starts back. We brought our dogs with us. This cabin exceeded our expectations. Our dogs loved playing in the creek. Especially our senior lab that loves water. She had the best time. We are planning a return trip already. The house was absolutely perfect.
My sister, my dog and I enjoyed a nice quiet weekend at this property. We enjoyed the soothing sounds from the creek (wish it had been warm enough to leave the back door open or sit on the porch, but it is February). The layout was perfect for my sister and I to have plenty of space. The kitchen had all that we needed to prepare meals. Thanks!
Very nice property; it's obvious the owners care. Very convenient location in relation to Blue Ridge, but the natural setting was completely removed from any hint of traffic, people, etc.
Fishing was a little sparse, but locals pointed out that we were probably a month early for any serious fishing, primarily because restocking takes place in April. We enjoyed it anyway. The weather cooperated for almost all of the stay.
Would definitely recommend.
This was a perfect mix of seclusion and convenience. The property was quiet and serene with the constant sound of a creek. The pond provided a nice spot to sit and fish. It was perfect for my 7/8 year olds who were able to entertain themselves outside all week. The cabin is spacious and clean and had all amenities needed. We will start planning our next trip back to the same cabin in the summer.
This was our second time staying at this house. It is so conveniently located to the outside world, but it is also very rural and laid back. We LOVE Hemp Creek. It is perfect...Not too fast but fast enough to discourage cottonmouths, and shallow enough to wade through, but you can also take a refreshing dip. Our pup loves the huge well- maintained area and the cooling creek.
We had a wonderful time at this lovely cabin in the Blue Ridge GA area. The cabin was exactly as described. The stream in the back and the pond on the property were tons of fun to fish and play in. The location was very convenient to hiking, rafting, horse back riding, and all the local attractions. While the cabin is close to everything, it is also very private. We enjoyed our evenings by the fire pit roasting marshmallows. This is a great cabin and we had a great time. Thank you!
Wow. Property was beautiful. We had a great time. The house had all you needed to just stay and relax. It was very clean. The creek was so much fun. We hung out in the water played games and just chilled out, which was all we wanted to do. The bedrooms were perfect too with very comfortable bedding. Definitely will be booking again. Thank you so much.
The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 adults for new years! It really is just 10 minutes away from downtown blue ridge and several other options to eat and buy groceries.
The cabin is on a beautiful property. It has a great front porch with plenty of seating and a screened in back porch with a table or two big enough to feed 10 people. The kitchen was nice and the bathrooms too.
The fireplace was a nice add and the bbq and fire pit outside were perfect for hanging out. The fishing poles were there for the stocked pond and we had river access.
Highly recommend!
As a
Couple in our 70âs this property was so easy to walk and enjoy every thing there. Loved seeing the wildlife and the listening to the creek babbling. We tried our luck at fishing in the pond but the fish were very small but still fun. The house was well stocked in fact, better than any other we have stayed!
The only recommendation I have is to clear the tall brush near the entrance so you can see if cars are coming before pulling out in the road.
We would definitely return to this place as it was extremely comfortable and close to everything!
This was a very nice property. Very clean and dog friendly which was a definite plus since we have a very elderly dog. There was even spare dog beds, which was much appreciated because we actually forgot to bring ours. Fishing in the creek and pond was nice and it was always quiet. Very close to Blue Ridge which we visited and only short drive to Harrahs. Only advice I would give future renters is to be cautious of the road going in and out. Mostly curvy and very narrow. Almost got hit head on by another resident coming around the turn super fast so be very careful.
This was my first vacation as a dad alone with my 4 children and our two dogs. The property was perfect, and we had an amazing time at Camp Bluebird, from playing down at the creek, taking afternoon walks to enjoy the landscape of the property, to fishing in the small pond. The cabin was spotless, and felt like home with all the furnishings, extra pillows and well stocked kitchen. In the evenings we enjoyed sitting on the screen porch listening to the creek and talking about our adventures from the day. The cabin is conveniently located to Blue Ridge and travel to other areas like Dahlonega, Amicalola Falls, Mercier Orchard, Toccoa Swinging Bridge, The Ocoee River, and countless hiking trails etc. was all within an hour drive time which allowed us to take in a lot of sights. Patrick was prompt with his communication about our stay before and after we arrived. We hope to come back and make this an annual trip given how much we enjoyed our time at Camp!
We decided last minute to get away for the weekend and came across this place. I am so glad we stayed here! It was a very short stay but we made sure to soak up as much fun as possible. My husband and I have two small dogs, a Boston and a jack russell, and I knew they would have a ball here. They swam in the pond and the creek. We didnât stay long enough to go fishing, unfortunately, but we did get to feed the fish. It was rainy but so cozy inside that it wasnât a problem. I would recommend staying at least a week! You are close to town but feels like youâre all alone out there. There is a neighbor but I never even seen them and itâs pretty quiet. We will be going back when we have more time to spend there!

This property offers an unprecedented opportunity to immerse in nature with 10 walkable acres and 1,200 feet of waterfront on an amazing mountain stream. There's a pond where kids can feed the fish (food supplied). It's located close to Blue Ridge, yet offers tranquility, space and privacy usually found only in remote areas.
