Devil Track Lake Home 215 est une maison immaculée de 2 étages récemment rénovée, située le long des rives du lac Devil Track, à seulement 13 km du magnifique sentier Gunflint de Grand Marais, dans le Minnesota. À l'intérieur, vous trouverez un décor éclectique inspiré par la nature avec une touche de modernité du milieu du siècle. La maison dispose de deux espaces de vie et de la combinaison unique d’un foyer à quartz à LED dans l’espace de vie principal et d’un foyer à bois dans l’espace de vie inférieur. Profitez de la terrasse face au lac ou sortez par la porte patio inférieure et profitez de la grande cour arrière qui mène au bord du lac.

La cabine dispose de 3 chambres et 2. 5 salles de bains, y compris une suite parentale spacieuse au niveau principal. Outre les deux espaces de vie, il y a une grande cuisine et un espace salle à manger pouvant accueillir toute la famille. Des œuvres d'art uniques et un mobilier soigneusement sélectionné rendent cette maison chaleureuse et accueillante. Les belles fenêtres mur à mur vous permettent de tirer pleinement parti des vues du lac Devil Track tout au long de l’année.

Descendez à la plage avec une canne à pêche ou plongez les pieds dans l'eau - il fait chaud en été! En hiver, il peut être difficile de savoir où se termine la terre et où commence le lac, tout en profitant de la vue imprenable sur la neige cristalline. Profitez de la natation, de la pêche, de la navigation de plaisance, de l’eau et du jet-ski pendant les mois les plus chauds. Revenez ensuite en hiver pour profiter de la motoneige, de la pêche blanche et de la construction de bonhommes de neige. Avec un accès facile aux sentiers de motoneige, cette maison est l'endroit idéal pour installer votre base pour un week-end d'aventure, tout en étant à quelques minutes du magnifique centre-ville de Grand Marais.

La cabine est située à quelques portes du restaurant et bar Skyport Lodge, anciennement The Landing, qui est maintenant ouvert sous une nouvelle direction. Après une longue journée de pêche en motoneige ou de pêche, venez déguster un menu complet ou vous asseoir au bar et boire un verre avec vos compagnons de voyage et les habitants de la ville. Les anciens visiteurs de la région de Devil Track Lake Resort ont déclaré que rester ici était comme faire partie d’une communauté et que les clients revenaient année après année. Beautiful house on a lake

Beautiful house on Devil Track Lake. The house is modern and very nicely decorated. Comfortable beds and furniture, very nice kitchen. Large screen TVs, game room. Very nice house to come home to after a day in Grand Marais or hiking in the nearby state parks.

We had a nice family vacation.

The home was perfect for our family. Kitchen is fully equipped with many items. The infloor heat felt good on your feet but made the rooms m very warm. Wished we could control the floor heat. We felt the mowing could have been better/trimming was not done. Therefore, high grass around the fire pit and chairs. Overall we enjoyed the property.

Fabulous property. Only negative issue was the internet speed was too slow for the TV. Watching a football game was difficult because the video was very jerky.

We had a very relaxing and fun girls get a way! The kitchen , dining and living room were perfect. Very open floor plan with nice beds and bedrooms. It would be great if there were steps down to the lake! Great view of the evening sunset!

Beautiful Getaway

The property we stayed at on Devil Track Lake was beautiful! The kitchen was stocked with a wide verity of supplies for preparing a meal. The game area in the basement was a bonus! Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Great family friendly place to stay. The negatives: neighbors are quite close, house was a bit dusty and had cobwebs in some of the areas, could only park 1 car in the driveway and there isn't really access to the lake from the property, however these wouldn't stop us from returning. Overall would recommend.

Nice property, kitchen has everything but you will need to bring all your own spices (salt and pepper etc) Oil, cutting boards if you are planning on cooking. No laundry access in the house.

Birthday gathering

We enjoyed our stay! On arrival there was no bedding for the hideabed and fold out couch, but property management brought some by promptly. They didn't provide shampoo, which was surprising. Never stayed at a VRBO w/o shampoo. We had no automatic dishwasher detergent but were required to wash dishes in dishwasher on departure. We were brought very watered down fairly ineffective dishwashing liquid. The photo of the dock online seemed a bit deceptive...you had to walk 2 doors down in front of the restaurant/lodge to access the water. Very comfortable! Deck chairs were nice but there were tons of spiderwebs on the deck . Rented a pontoon boat from the lodge for an afternoon. Otherwise no access to watercraft unless you bring your own. No washer/dryer. We were coming off of a week in the boundary waters, so had to go Into town to wash clothes. But that was my fault for not reading the listing closely. Shades in basement bedroom not functioning, smashed bugs on wall in powder room, downstairs patio dirty. Few lightbulbs not functioning. Usual stuff for a house that is not lived in.

Lovely home but I don’t think I would come back

The house was gorgeous and location was great. Kitchen well stocked. However, there were good reasons I would not come back. We stayed the full capacity of guests and whatever you do, do NOT sleep on the pullout bed! It was dangerously uncomfortable, and I’m not even being dramatic. I woke up barely being able to walk and I’m 28. Our group had to get a hotel for the 2 guests sleeping on the pullout bed. There was also no bedding for it, just a mattress topper and a sheet. We used pillows from other beds and a throw blanket but not having bedding besides a thin blanket for a house that advertises for staying in the winter is quite terrible. There is no communication with the owner outside of Monday-Friday work hours. This bothered me the most!! Most people go on vacation on the weekend, and if you have a problem that’s anything short of the house being on fire, you’re completely screwed and gotta figure it out yourself (aka the bedding). They give an emergency number with a very rude list of reasons to not call it and in my opinion, lots of things on that list would definitely be considered an emergency! I’ve never not been able to contact an owner with issues like no bedding… Or Wi-Fi stops working, or there’s a bug infestation (reasons they made clear are not emergencies). Also there’s zero service, which wasn’t a problem because we could just use Wi-Fi but that could be very bad if it wasn’t working. Also no garage code. And the driveway can barely fit 2 small cars.

Cozy, comfortable cabin on the lake!

This cabin has it all!! Cozy/comfortable atmosphere and fun activities for the family. The kids enjoyed the video games and foosball tournaments. The lake views were stunning! Very convenient location for various activities on the Northshore.I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to enjoy all that Grand Marais has to offer, various hikes and relaxing.

Beautiful Lake Home

Very well equipped especially in the kitchen. Had all the tools necessary to make a great meal. Quiet area with great views of the lake. Short drive to Grand Marais and nearby waterfalls. Will definitely look for this property again on our next visit to the area.

Great place overall, checking in was easy, place was clean and matched photos online. Neighbors are pretty close, if you are looking for a getaway, this may not be it, but overall a good spot for gatherings.

Relaxed and yet Funfilled

House is very comfortable, inviting, clean, inviting, has all the necessary amenities, a beautiful view and surroundings. Gentle wakeup calls and evening lullabys by the loons was soothing. Fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking and even fishing kept grandchildren well entertained. Property has fire pit we enjoyed under the stars in evenings. Proximity of the property to outstanding hiking and cycling was a bonus. Short drive to quaint Grand Marais also provided additional option.

Quick getaway

House was perfect for a quick Memorial Day trip. We had 2 families and plenty of space. We had fun fishing off the communal dock. Dinner at the bar and grill was great.

Could Be Nice But...

They had just renovated the property and on the first night there the ceiling fan over my friend's bed came down. Luckily she wasn't hurt, but yikes! Also, the third bedroom was full of stuff so that we couldn't use it (there were only two of us so we didn't need it, but still), there were dirty dishes in the cupboard (yuk!) and there were some other missing things as well (bedside lamps, etc.). I'm sure they've resolved all of these things by now. If so, it would be a nice place to stay. We loved the large windows with the view of the lake and the open floor plan. The bedrooms were spacious and the dining table was huge. The kitchen was well-appointed. There is a bar and grill 3 doors down that serves surprisingly good food and has great service (not open on Mondays and Tuesdays though). We did get a refund for half of our 3-day stay based on the issues we encountered, so I felt like that was fair. More words of caution though: 1. There is no beach (just a very small rocky area) and it would be very difficult to access the water directly from the property because there is a 6-foot drop-off. 2. They are currently requiring you to bring your own bedding, which can be a huge hassle. This certainly may have changed since the writing of this review, but you'll want to check and plan accordingly because this takes up a huge amount of space in the car. 3. You have to take your garbage yourself to the dumpster a block away. 4. The neighbors are close, which is not the impression you get from the photos. The people on one side came into the yard and let their dogs pee right in front of our window. 5. They tell you you need to wash, dry and put away all of the dishes before you leave. It's not clear if you have to put away dishes from the dishwasher which would be quite difficult if you eat breakfast there and then need to leave early because the dishwasher cycle takes 3 and a half hours to complete (which may be why we found the dirty dishes with toast crumbs and butter on them in the cupboard). I think they may want to either reword or rethink that requirement.

Nice property, but lacked some basic necessities

Location and house were very nice. Kitchen pots and pans left dirty. Kitchen utensils were basic with no hot pads or salt and pepper shakers. No lock on basement sliding door. No instructions or tools for wood fireplace. No bedding for cot or sleeping sofa provided. Upon request, management provided missing supplies.
