Clean, well equipped cottage with a beautiful deck and view of the lake. The park pass was an added bonus and the location was perfect for going to Point Pelee.

Fabulous lakefront property

Beautiful property close to Point Pelee Provincial Park. Home was very well equipped, comfortable and modern. Host was extremely welcoming! We would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a relaxing get away!

We just spent 5 days at the cottage .We have done so many times.we come back because we know what to expect of Gabriellas properties.Always clean ,comfortable,a great view.The breeze off the lake made it comfortable to be on the deck.

Another fabulous week at Another Sunset on the Bay.

Property was clean and very well stocked. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the big screen tv in the evening. There was all the necessary cooking tools for our meals. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the afternoon. The cottage is minutes from from downtown on one side and minutes from Point Pelee National Park on the other. Quiet and restfull!

Relaxing

Great place with a great view and location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was great. Clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and close to the park. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

Absolutely beautiful & relaxing place to stay

We sold out home & had a 3 day wait to take over our new home & stayed here & it made all the hassle of packing etc all go away, it was clean inside & so calming outside looking out onto that beautiful view of the lake , everything was there that we needed with all the condors of home .. thank you Stacey & Gabriella .. we highly recommend you booking a stay at Sunset By The Bay in the future ..

Wonderful weekend

We loved our stay! The cottage is comfortable, and we loved the open concept kitchen/family room. Kitchen has everything you need! The deck looking out on the water was our favourite spot. Listening to the water lap the rocks, watching boats go by and enjoying beautiful sunsets in the evenings. The park is a short drive away which we enjoyed. Many wineries nearby for some wine tasting.

Great Little Getaway

We had an awesome 3 day stay here last week! Our cottage was very clean and stocked with everything we needed from towels to toilet paper to spices in the cupboard. I especially liked that the towels smelled like bleach! The cottage was a perfect size for 4 people and loved the open concept kitchen. The beautiful sunsets off the deck were memorizing and watching the storm roll by was neat to see too. My kids loved fishing right off the deck and even caught a couple Sheephead. It was just a few minutes drive to the national park and we really appreciated the pass to eneter the park as part of our stay. Aswell, a short drive to the ferry terminal where we went for another day trip. We absolutely loved our last kick at summer before heading into September.

Splendid sunsets and several surprises

The cottage is well appointed, the host is responsive and the location is convenient. Several special touches likes cold glasses in the freezer, local coffee, a pass to Point Pelée National Park and all the dishes, utensils, BBQ, wifi and accessible shower made our week amazing. Easy parking, beautiful deck and so close to restaurants, Leamington and the ferry to Pelee Island. We didn’t want to leave!

Point Pelee Drive Oasis

Lovely area of Ontario to go to unwind to, in a laid back, peaceful community. Everything is at your fingertips in Leamington and Kingsville , restaurants, groceries pharmacies and clothing. Tucked away on the shore of Lake Erie is a lovely well stocked cottage where we spent a relaxing week. Tastefully decorated with all the necessary amenities . A partially accessible bathroom with a walk-in shower is an asset. Internet and cell phone access and all this just a few minutes from Point Pelee National park.

Another great experience

we decided to leave the snow behind and go to the cottage end of March.we have done this before and found it to be very enjoyable.The rates are reasonable and we were able to expererience the sights and sounds of the lake and park at this time of year.we found the ice formations along the shoeline quite interesting.As usual Gabriella had the cottage ready to go and we didnt want for anything.It was especially nice to enjoy the weekend with my daughter and soninlaw as the cottage has more then enough room for all of us.

Great spot, Great Service

Just a wonderful spot to enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake front vacationing. We've stayed here multiple times, through all of the seasons and just love winding down from our normal grind. In winter we've watched the lake ice roll on top of the waves; if you've never seen this before it absolutely mesmerizing. In spring, summer and fall there is always something interesting to watch from the deck; from kayaks, dinghys and wake surfing boats to spectacular 80 foot yachts slipping across the bay and offshore race boats blasting by at 100+moh. We've seen it all including massive cruise ships moored off the beach to bring European guests into Point Pelee for excursions. Bring your binoculars and you can watch the freighters slip across on the horizon. We've watched the fireworks close by at seacliff beach on the Canada Holiday and then looked south and watched the fireworks from Pelee Island and even further from the small islands on the US side of the lake. The crew that looks after the cottage are attentive, and every time we've come it's been super clean and ready to enjoy from the moment we step in. Thanks a ton everyone. I am sorry we didn't write a review after our first stay two years ago.

Always reliable never disappointed

My wife and I wanted a respite from our every day at home so we rented another sunsets by the bay as we have done before. We found the cottage to be spacious, clean, and well stocked. Because of the time of year we were unable to spend a lot of time outside on the deck but we did walk the park daily. It was still nice to see the lake from inside. As usual Gabriella responded to our inquiries right away. We found no deficiencies but I know from the past, to quote aphrase from Mike Holmes, Gabriella makes it right.We will return.

Stunning sunsets with a comfortable , nicely decorated and fully equipped cottage close to home !

After travelling 91/2 hrs for a number of years to a family cottage in the Gatineau’s it was wonderful to find a cottage close to home - just 50 mins away. Returned again this year and felt I had come home. Clean and beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home. The hostess Gabriela makes a pass to Point Pelee available and we spent 2 days at the Point where we hiked , combed the beach for sea glass and rented kayaks . Gabriela was always available to answer any questions. A perfect hostess. We spent hours outdoors enjoying the property and lovely view. There is a small bunky on the property should you have additional Guests. Hope to return next yr.

Modern cottage with amenities for a relaxing lakefront vacation

Gorgeous lakefront property with everything you need for a cottage vacation. Clean and modern renovations done inside, excellent kitchen, comfortable living area with views of the lake, and a great deck to enjoy some solitude by the water. No excess noise from neighbours, close to Point Pelee, Leamington Beach, golf, restaurants.... this place was a no brainer for a humble cottage vacation. Owner Gabriella was extremely responsive and professional. We look forward to visiting again!

I purchased my first rental in 2017. I have always enjoyed being near and in the water. When I purchased my first property I knew I needed to share it with others. That lead to the first rental, Sunsets by the Bay. After a year of meeting some wonderful people, I purchased my second property. I continue to grow my portfolio by managing others lakefront properties.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property was too perfect to pass up. Leamington and Kingsville have always been home. I fell in love with Lake Erie at a young age, and knew someday I wanted to have water property. An opportunity arose that allowed me to invest, and as a bonus, I got to share my love for the lake with many others. This house has a bonus "bunker" on the property, which I also rent out, but, because of its proximity to the road, it still allows for the privacy to each party renting out each.

This property is fantastic for entertaining. There are 3 sets of sliding doors that allow you to see the lake from the entire living room and kitchen and allow the natural light to enter in at just the right time in the afternoon.
