My family of 6 adults and 5 kids stayed in this beautiful and very spacious house. It was perfect for all of us and just a few minutes from the highway that gets you all over the summit area. We plan on returning in June.
What a spectacular home. Plenty of space for a large group, with a well stocked kitchen, and comfortable furniture. The views were amazing and only added to the mountain setting! Not to far from the town to make it easy to get out and about. Would recommend to anyone for a family getaway.
I loved all the rooms for our big group. Plenty of bathrooms with spacious closets and the great balconies and early morning wildlife viewing. Loved the kitchen even though it was missing some things that would help when cooking for a big crowd. Loved the size of the beds! All in all very great home even though the responsiveness of Vacasa wasnât the best.
The house was awesome!!! We had 9 and had room for more!Suggestions: dish towels for kitchen. Since there werenât any, we went through a ton of paper towels. We had to purchase more.No Kleenex⊠would have been niceRan out of toilet paper.Would def go back to this house!!
we had a family vacation with four adult siblings and their spouses (or in my case an adult son who lived not far from there who came up for a couple of days). So nice to have three of the bedrooms ensuite! All agreed that beds were very comfortable, although the pillows were not a hit. Stunning views and we saw deer every day we were there!!
The home was in a great location with beautiful views. The 4 star rating is due to the fact that 2 of the bedrooms did not have pillowcases for the beds. Also, the carpet was stained throughout the house.
Took our family to Silverthorne for our annual Christmas trip. We were very surprised with this house. Itâs HUGE! So much room for all our crew and such great proximity to all the area resorts. Close to town for dinners out as well as some shopping. Would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area with a large group. Jake the manager was very responsive with questions about check out as well as a small issue we had upon check in.
Great location to drive to several mountains - Keystone, Breck, and Vail. House is way up on the hill so be sure to have a suitable AWD/ FWD vehicle. Layout of bedrooms with private bathrooms/ 4 showers / easily accommodates large group of guests. We encountered substantial snowfall over several days and driveway was always plowed allowing us to come and go without issue. Did encounter two issues that needed maintenance. One quick call to the management and they were addressed the same day. Donât be surprised to see moose in the back yard!
The house had plenty of room and beautiful views. Lots of hiking trails. It was close enough to the best sking. The TV's were not all working but we were not using them.so it wasn't a problem. We had a fantastic time.
Silverthorne was absolutely amazing! The house slept three families comfortably with room to spare. The views were serene with many wildlife sitings. We visited multiple nearby towns for many outdoor adventures and enjoyed great meals at the house! The back porch is a perfect spot for morning coffee and an afternoon cocktail. We will be back again to make many more family memories.
Great location, quiet neighborhood. House in great shape except for pet spots on carpet. Lots of wildlife, deer, hummingbirds. Lockbox instructions could be made less confusing.
The house sits a good distance up in a neighborhood. Everything was very clean and the outside is beautiful. We had a little red fox visit us a couple of mornings. The beds are comfortable, living areas nice and roomy and enough bathrooms for our group. We never ran out of hot water, which is a plus. We had an issue with one toilet upon arrival. The property management was quick to get someone out to fix it, although he did have to come twice. We ran out of dishwasher detergent, which I think at the price we paid should be fully stocked. The toilet paper was not the best brand, but it may have to be that way for the plumbing. Wifi worked great. The radiant heat was really nice, too. It was nice to have some supplies in the pantry and we passed along our extras to the next people staying. There was no crockpot that we could find, so I'm glad I brought one. We would definitely recommend staying at this location.
Very private views and overall feeling, stream on property
Very nice home with plenty of room for everyone, even a loft area with small balcony for those who want to be further secluded.
Pros: Awesome views especially in the fall as Aspens change, Large stream with 2 waterfalls on property with two benches for relaxing, kids love to play in the stream, Jogging path well marked in redwood chips circumvents backyard through trees and over 2 bridges, Quiet location, neighbors very quiet also, can use 2 car garage fully, Great gas grill on back balcony, there is a spot for a future hot tub that would be private but not installed yet, numerous large hiking trails within walking distance of this home that take you to several of the featured peaks, be sure to visit "ghost tree" on a trail to the north on top of hill with awesome views and privacy too, sauce on the blue and lion cafe just down hill for all your out to eat meal needs, king beds in both main rooms, shower and jetted tub are wonderful, lots of storage spots. Fireplaces all are flick of switch easy and one in nook area keeps you cozy in early morning coffee breaks and cooler evening star gazing. plenty of deck seats for kicking back. deer frequented our stay daily in back yard.
Cons: Be sure oven racks are placed into oven correctly, they fell out because previous user put them in wrong and my wife got burned, be careful!, oven by fridge is in a bad location, too close to fridge, island could have been better designed about 4 feet further away in kitchen, but is manageable. TV in main living room not connected so will have to use other rooms which worked well for us. Sliding door locks get a bit of getting used to and sliding screen doors tend to come off tracks easily. The upstairs while private could have been designed as a far larger room built over the home to the southern part with a longer deck area with no cover for sunning, just a suggestion to owner, otherwise except to bed a few extra guests its a waste of space.
Overall even with ANY cons, we would stay here again. great location, amenities, and local cuisine close by are awesome. Also hiking trails close by. and it was very quiet here.
It was definitely a big enough house for my family to all meet at. I do think it could have been cleaned a little better as there were smudges on the walls that could have easily been wiped off b4 we got there and a few things left on one of the bathroom floors which makes me think they werenât mopped. Other than that everything else was great! We arenât super picky so it worked really well for our family. But could have used an early check in but their reason for not letting us was due to them having to deep clean for Covid standards.
Over all good stay.
I went to Silverthorne with a group of friends, 12 of us in total and we had a lovely time at the house! We were all able to sleep very comfortably and the house had ample space for such a large group. The kitchen is spacious and very functional, we cooked at the house or grilled on the porch almost every night. After dinner we were all able to sit comfortably in the living room and hang out before bed. Location is excellent with easy access to Lake Dillon, Breckenridge and Vail, but convenient to Target and Whole Foods as well. The property is beautiful, with a stream and small waterfall. We saw wildlife in the mornings, including deer and a mother moose and 2 babies!
The house, and its location on the hillside, surrounded by trees, was beautiful. All of the bedrooms were wonderful, and the house had plenty of room for our family. We saw fox, deer, and a golden eagle, and thoroughly enjoyed a family reunion.
The house is even more beautiful in person than the photos. There is plenty of space for everyone to sleep. Tons of great, open community spaces for games and hanging out. Kitchen is ready for cooking. The views are just incredible and we had a fox visitor on the back porch! Great central location to access, Dillon, Keystone, and Copper Mountains. Overall a great stay. Thank you!
