We loved The Lemon Drop! We had 11 ladies come for a girls trip, and there was plenty of room. The carriage house also made it so much easier to spread out with such a large group and it helped to have the extra kitchen. We could have fit 2-3 more people easily. The tram service was also so helpful in getting chairs/coolers to the beach access and made it so quick to get to and from the beach!
The house was in a great location. The tram stop and pool were both very close.
Neither of the upstairs bathroom outlets worked. The beds are full size not queens liked advertised.
Literally every thing was fantastic. However, one helpful thing that needs doing: The downstairs bathroom shower door lacked a door seal or threshold to divert water. Hence there was a huge puddle of water that accumulated down the tile on the outside of the shower in the floor that had to be dried up after each shower. If that isnât addressed the floor will be damaged in that bathroom very soon. Would rate my stay as perfect for my family vacation!
Wonderful property! We rented both the house and carriage house and loved it! Highly recommend. Walk to pool and walk or tram over to beach. This neighborhood does have a ton of rules! If thatâs not your thing you wonât be happy in Seacrest!
The house was perfect for our multifamily birthday getaway. There arenât breakables sitting in places that toddlers can easily reach them, the furniture is comfortable and the home is clean and updated.
The locks on all the doors are a little iffy. The lock on the guesthouse did not work at all when we arrived so I contacted Vacasa since one of the families were staying there for the week. They did not send a handyman for 2 and a half days. DAYS!!!! The handyman told us he didnât get the ticket for 2 days. That is after I told them I needed it opened immediately and they ensured they were sending someone shortly. I will never use Vacasa again. Their office was down the road from the house. There was no excuse. The lock had to be completely replaced so it was not a user error.
This home served its purpose for us, but wasnât so amazing that we would book a trip back just to stay here. Overall it was nice but lots of room for improvement. Highly recommend getting the correct size bed sheets, as 2 beds had sheets popping off every night. There is also no full body mirror in the larger house, which wouldâve been super nice to have. Also suggest getting a pair of scissors, there was none to be found and we kept ending up needing a pair. Overall the house was nice and clean and served its purpose for us, but definitely couldâve been better.
Pre-trip, I tried contacting Vacasa via phone and could never get ahold of anyone. I called different phone numbers of Vacasa locations in our area, but they all lead to the same automated phone line, and then you wait almost 20 minutes and canât reach anyone. I was able to get answers through the texting line, which was fine and worked for me, but Iâm thankful nothing happened during our stay where we wouldâve needed to contact anyone, because Iâm not sure we wouldâve gotten in touch with them.
We took a girls trip and stayed at the Lemon Drop. We loved it!! Plenty of space for 10 of us and just a five minute walk to the beach! The house was also very clean and comfortable. We will be back!!
Checkin was great. Property was clean, but some minor issues, microwave was super tiny. No high chair to accommodate child, but our big issues were TV did not work in 1st floor BDroom & this was for my elderly father, we called 3-4 times to Vacasa & was assured EVERYTIMEâŠa technician would call shortly which they never did, the TV was never fixed or changed out for 5 days! The upstairs AC unit wasnât working properly & again multiple calls which were not addressed until it began dumping water on the floor & became a flooding hazard to properly- the finally sent out a technician. We spendt over 1 1/2 hours of our vacation on hold or talking with Vacasa which is ridiculous. Will not rent property managed by this company due to the lack of response they showed. You EXPECT things to be in working order when you rent a property & if they are not then the management company should address it quickly as not to disrupt the vacation. This WAS NOT our experience.
We loved this place, it was cute, clean and affordable for what you get. The only small issue I had, was the listing says 14 people, we had ten, and I can not see how more people would fit. We had one sleep on the couch. We had three people cancel and Iâm grateful they did, I donât know where they would have slept! Other than that, gorgeous and in the perfect location.
The location was convenient to both the beach and the pool. The main and carriage houses were comfortable for a good sized group. The only down side was we experienced several maintenance issues.
We fell in love with Seacrest a few years ago and enjoy coming back! This was our first time at The Lemon Drop and we loved it! We had a family of 12 (ages 10-71) and it was perfect. We had a minor leak in a bathroom but it was resolved immediately. Nothing that would keep me from staying again, just mentioned it to say they responded promptly! Would love to stay there again!!!
1. Management gave us the wrong code to get into the carriage house and didnât fix it until the next day, despite 6 calls to management within the first two hours of our arrival. They kept giving us the wrong code. So we were all crammed into the bigger house the first night with no sleeping room.
2. Constant plumbing leak in Master bath
3. Broken tile on floor of master bath, so when you walked on it, it would move.
4. Minimal kitchen utensils and dishes
5. No extra linens what so ever
6. Bring laundry detergent & dish detergent- they only provide enough for 2 loads
7. Bring toilet paper
8. No outside lighting in the back where dining table and grill is.
The Rosemary Beach experience was one of the best vacations we've ever had as a family. There's so much to do and to explore, but it's also a pleasure to do nothing much at all - just lying by the pool or beach is amazing.
The Lemon Drop property is in a good location which includes beach access. I will say, not having been here before, I was surprised at a few things. There's a wristband system for beach, pool, and tram access I wasn't aware of before getting here. There's not a great description and it takes a few days to catch on.
Check in was a challenge. The description of a lockbox on the app was incorrect as was the code to enter the home. A call to the property manager was needed, and they gave me the correct code. Then, we noticed the Casita was never cleaned so that required another call. The cleaning crew was sent out and several hours later, it was ready for the family friends who came with us. One more issue. When the cleaning crew came, they locked up and I realized a seperate code for the Casita is required. I called and the property manager initially said I wasn't reserved for the Casita. I explained that I certainly thought I had and wondered aloud why that would be included in the description on the app if it wasn't included. After a brief moment of tension, the management company confirmed it was included. Whew. So, three calls to Cavasa later and 5/6 hours passed our assigned check in time, we are good.
Anyway, RB and the Lemon Drop combined for an amazing time that my wife, family, and friends will never forget. I certainly recommend both the property and vacation.
This house was a perfect place to stay for our family. Very near to a tram stop for easy beach access and also a short bike ride to the Seacrest pool! The 3rd floor trundle bed was perfect for two five year old girls to sleep and other rooms were big enough for pack and plays for other children. We would definitely recommend.
